It really upset me when they refused to cover lab fees, even though I had been on the program for over six weeks… This detail is buried in the documentation and the laboratory did not catch it
We joined them because my wife had no other insurance options since she is not a US citizen… In the six months program was active. The program did basically nothing for us.… Well over $2000 down the drain for basically zero benefit

As outlined in our Sharing Guidelines regarding the first two months of participation, medical expenses incurred during the first two months after a member’s Enrollment Activation Date are not eligible for sharing unless they are related to an accident, acute illness, or injury. Because the lab work occurred within this initial participation period, it unfortunately was not eligible to be shared among members.

I would not recommend this healthshare…
I would not recommend this healthshare program. My husband has had all his bills submitted to Liberty Health share since March 30 of 2025. We have paid our share amount for him which was $1000. Now the remaining bills have gone into collection.
MN Fairview Bill of $737.59, Park Nicollet Bill of 986.30 and $381.42.

I have been with Liberty Health Share…
I have been with Liberty Health Share for about 13 years. Recently the company has been adding extra billing rules that were not in place when I signed up. They will not pay for any bill under $200 (even after an AUA is met). This causes an issue in cases of providers breaking down a service into several bills even for the same date of service. Patients do not have control over this. Liberty won't make any exceptions which is rediculous. They also refuse to cover holistic services and continue to process my bills incorrectly even after I have explained to them mutiple times that the provider I see is a licensed MD with separate holistic services. Becuase they refuse to make notes in the processing dept, I am left with no choice but to call in every few months and spend hours on the phone explaning the situation over and over again. It also causes me to have to pay some of the bills on my own (especially lab work) and wait for reimbursement which they are extremely slow at. The two women helped me today (Antoinette and Ketrina) were very professional and understanding. They provided excellent customer service. Their care helps ease my frustrations a lot! I appreciate their diligence in helping me resolve issues at hand when they can.

There is always someone available to help walk you through a medical bill or to pray with you or just to listen. The program is very affordable and the program rules are very reasonable. I can not state this strongly enough, Liberty Healthshare is a wonderful organization and truly a blessing from God.

The premiums are affordable and they do pay the bills. Years ago they were slow to pay but they have fixed that. Customer service is also much better than years ago. This is a solid company

Long term satisfied member
I've been with LHS for over 9 years now, and recently had to have a hip replaced. LHS made everything so simple and manageable, and covered all my expenses after my annual share was utilised. I've had regular health insurance for 30 years prior to LHS, and I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with not only the purpose of LHS, but with the follow through when you need them.
