I was looking to validate my interpretation skills and Learn Q was a good option. Price, time and experience where factors that made me decide for them. Despite the time zone challenges I encounter (me being 6 hours behind UK), the tutor was supportive and encouraged me to attend as much as possible. All the guidances to become a successful Interpeter are helpful to build personal confidence, skills awareness and even recognising those weak spots. I’m grateful for this experience and this website that has great interest in supporting those looking to enhance and validate interpreting skills.

Just a quick suggestion, the power point slides could use an uplifting, something more attractive to watch/read.

The course was very fruitful and interesting and especially Ajub was a great tutor he explained everything in the simplest ways possible and made it alot of fun, i looked forward to all my classes, him being a linguist with knowledge of most of the languages was a bonus.. I look forward to doing the exam and starting a career in the field

I had a great experience in preparing with LearnQ for taking an exam for Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting.

I recently completed Level 3 certificate in community interpreting with LearnQ, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations.
The course package and materials provided were of exceptional quality. The content was comprehensive, well-organized, and incredibly informative. It's evident that a great deal of effort went into creating a curriculum that covers all necessary aspects of interpreting.

I opted for LearnQ as an opportunity to new open doors for my quest for a new career, for a new job. The way the courses are organized ( both - online seminars and prerecorded ones) suited me . The tutor was clearly a very experienced interpreter, with good didactic skills. All people involved in my learning group managed to work as a team by the end of the courses and we still keep in touch after.
Some aspects would've given me a bit more confidence towards the exam such as a tutor that was speaking my language. I would've waited the time necessary to form a group of my language , as well. Luckily, I had the opportunity to organize a 1 2 1 session with someone speaking my language. I was told straight away which are my weaknesses and how to correct them( and there were lots). If there would've been a package of 1 2 1 offered, I would've taken it happily. No matter how good and well prepared are your tutors, there are things that they can not tell you unless they understand your language and understand where you come from when you choose one word or another. The exam wasn't easy even though one is given enough time to prepare. I took it very seriously and, as a result, I passed, first time.
It was not perfect, of course.
The assessment was correct and fair. Like anything else in life, in order to become perfect a lot of work and practice is needed.
I am glad I have opted for LeanQ . Now I can choose the direction I want in life and I can continue to walk holding my head high.

Great tutors and course exam preparation tips flexible with payment overall 5* service.

I enjoyed this course. I've been watching pre-recorded lectures at my own pace (while doing cross-stitching), did the home tasks (you don't have to do them but it helps to prepare), watched all the videos, followed all the tips and I passed the exam!

They also supply recordings of lectures of your group which take place once a week. But I preferred the pre-recorded ones and Rob seems incredibly patient with his pupils. (BTW I would recommend Magnesium supplement for restless legs :) you'd have to watch to understand what I'm talking about)

I've done a lot of interpreting for my friends over the years but on this course I've learned a lot of interesting details about how it has to be done professionally. So experience does help but just like in a driving test there's particular rules that you wouldn't know being self-taught and this course helps with that.

The professionalism of the examiners, the speed of scheduling the exam and providing the evaluation.

I am pleased to share that I recently passed my Level 3 Community Interpreting exam, and I highly recommend LearnQ as an excellent resource for anyone interested in pursuing this field. The course materials, including written resources and videos, were more than adequate in preparing me for the exam and to work as a professional interpreter.
Furthermore, I found the customer service to be exceptional. The staffs were responsive and provided prompt assistance to my phone calls and emails. The course also offers great flexibility, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
I must also highlight the professionalism of the exam assessors who were highly knowledge, and I received excellent feedback from them that would help me to improve my interpreting skills.

Great learning experience
I really appreciated the option to watch pre-recorded lessons, as my schedule didn't allow me to attend live sessions and I needed to go through the course more quickly. LearnQual did a great job preparing me for the exam, everything went as they said it would and on my part, doing all I was told in the videos did pay off. Another thing I liked was Rob Mynett's approach to the students. It was a good demonstration of how interpreters should treat their clients - impartially and with respect.
The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I never got answer to my email with specific questions (I obviously wasn't able to ask them during the class, which would be much more convenient and efficient way). Perhaps the communication got lost somewhere on the way or an unusual circumstance happened but I was too busy (or lazy?) to try again. Anyway, that was the only hitch and everything important I needed to know was in the videos and learning materials.
