From Zero to Hero in French!
I started learning French with Alexa in June 2024. The reason I embarked on this journey was for immigration purposes. I was extremely hesitant to start the process of learning a new language but Alexa made the journey thoroughly enjoyable and seamless. The structure of the content, the videos and practical exercises, the live sessions, TEF preparation, and overall support from the team were simply excellent! I took the TEF exam in January of 2025 and obtained a high intermediate proficiency in French all thanks to Alexa's world class course! This is the best course out there to learn French and would highly recommend it to anyone who is keen on learning the language. Merci Beaucoup Alexa!!!

The whole package
The practical stuff: the program is so comprehensive, but sectioned in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming. If there is something specific I want to learn it’s easy to find.
The soft stuff: it’s welcoming! Alexa—and you can tell the team team also even though they don’t appear—have such a great vibe. There’s acknowledgement that french is difficult; Alexa’s humility in the lessons in refreshing; and the humor and positivity used to reinforce a “you got this” attitude is what keeps me sticking with it.
Having added options for speaking in groups is incredibly helpful.

First of all thank you so much
First of all thank you so much. I do like the structure of the class and slowly it helps me to start my conversation in French.
I love test, as it helps to understand where you stand and where you need to improve.
The only think I don't rely find really helpful it is supplementary videos, as in some classes it is a lot of them. I would prefer that some of them is part of the class. Thank you.

She is truly a GREAT treacher!
She is truly a GREAT treacher and i would definitely RECOMMEND like i watch her videos on youtube and they are helping me in every way. By the way mind me, I am in class 5 learning french as a beginner. As a third language, it will be naturaly harder for me to learn and understand french. And with Alexa? It's no problem for me!

It started me off and it was easy to use, Alexa is a very good teacher and very engaging but you have to be very motivated and self disciplined to stick with it so I chose going to a class. I gave it 4 stars (nearly 3!) because I don’t like that it automatically bills you for the next year as I didn’t want it and paid for nothing !

Thank you so much for your kind words about Alexa’s teaching and for the 4 stars — we’re so glad you found her engaging and easy to follow. We completely understand that online self-study works well for some, while others enjoy the structure and interaction of a class setting.
We’re sorry the automatic renewal caused frustration. We do mention it in the subscription details and send a reminder email 7 days before payment, but we’ll definitely look at how we can make this even clearer in the future.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We wish you every success as you continue your French learning journey!
I will not recommend this course for…
I will not recommend this course for people who are trying for TEF Canada. No one from LFWA reached out to me for any 1 on 1. There are only videos and these videos are available on YouTube as well. No point paying such crazy fees and not getting proper attention.

Bonjour! Thank you for sharing your thoughts - we’re truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations.
We reached out shortly after your enrolment with details on how to book your 1:1 session, and we’re always happy to help set this up at any time.
The TEF Preparation Course is built for self-paced study with step-by-step guidance, targeted exam strategies, and practice materials. While a few supporting videos appear on Alexa’s YouTube channel, most of the content is exclusive to the course.
We also send onboarding emails to help you get the most out of your subscription, and our team is always here at support@learnfrenchwithalexa.com if you need extra support or guidance.
