Provider no showed for over 10 days then wanted to collect a overgrowth fee before coming to my property.I understand this aspect isn't lawn guru's fault, but I did email customer service twice and never received a response

Payed for lawn cut, edgingg g and blowing trimmings off surfaces and all they did was cut front yard and lawn guru didn’t fix it

Showed up 2 days late. Uneven mowing Caused lawn scalping in to dirt. Didn’t bag anything left clumped grass everywhere. Didn’t finish weed eating Blew all clippings in to street . Damaged yard completely. Didn’t come to door and just drove off. Luckily we opted for a one time only mow to check there service. Cost $67.00 and was told it was weekly. They won’t be coming back here

I received lawn service and they arrived after 6pm and was finshed in 15minutes.When i arrived home my internet was cut and my grass looked as if it wasnt cut nor trimed.I reached out to customer service and they ask me to provide pictures .Well i did and i havent heard anything back.The company that assisted me clearly ripped me off for $60.there is no one to talk to you can only talk through chat.I will be disputing order and will never recommend nor get any service from them again.I wish i could upload the poor job they did.

Do not use this company. The mowing company was supposed to show up one day. They changed the date without me approving the change, so I canceled everything. The new day they were supposed to show up and cut, they did not, but charged me for lawn service anyway and did not cut my yard. The amount they charged was more than the amount that they quoted. Once you give them your payment information, you can not remove it! You cannot talk to anyone. I have attempted to chat with them 3 times and have not received any response.

Company did not show up, blamed on rain, then heat, then a smaller than 3’ opening. Eventually they canceled the job 3 days later. I sent message to lawnguru app/AI messaging to cancel the service. I never heard back from them even though it said they would give you a call. Two days go by and then randomly, I have a message from somebody who’s headed to my house to mow. They mowed the yard super short, even though I had asked for the back to be high. They literally spread grass shavings all over our mulch and patio and the yard - our whole yard is just an inch thick of grass shavings. Regardless, the whole thing should’ve been canceled. Funny thing is that I had just mowed and it looked so good. Bad experience don’t do it. I asked for my lawn to be mowed on a Friday and it was mowed the following Tuesday and torn up in a way I never thought possible.

Very disappointing experience. You cannot speak to a human voice if there is an issue. My provider did not show up for my second service. LawnGuru took two days to respond to my numerous written communications advising they were trying to locate another provider. In the meantime I was forced to hire another provider due to lawn condition and weather.

This is a good concept (like Uber for lawn service), but I don't think it's ready for prime time. I suspect they don't have enough service providers in my area. But rather than say that, they promise service and leave you hanging. The first time I requested mowing, someone did show up after 2 days, but they did a crummy job and left without finishing. There were patches left unmowed, edging wasn't done, and there were grass clippings left on my driveway and my neighbor's driveway (the service is supposed to include mowing, edging, and clearing of clippings from hard surfaces). I was charged more than $100 for this unfinished work. I contacted customer service and provided pictures of the problem areas. It took them almost 2 weeks to respond, and they said they would look into it. Desperate to have my lawn mowed, I decided to give them another chance. I booked another service, but a week later no one has shown up to mow. I contacted customer service again, but they were no help. They just said they would alert providers in my area again. I told them if I my lawn wasn't mowed in 2 days, I would cancel, but they didn't seem to care. So I've cancelled and won't work with them again.

I would leave zero stars if that were possible. I scheduled mowing service for a property that I was selling. I had no clue how long it would take to sell the property, so I presumed it would need mowed once a week for a bit. After the service was initially scheduled, it took two weeks for a provider to finally show up. The first service was cancelled by the app because of "a payment processing error" which was never explained. The second scheduled service was "cancelled by the provider" on the day it was scheduled, also never explained. When I finally received mowing service, it had been so long since it was initially scheduled, they charged me an extra fee for having grass that was too long. Of you're asking: why didn't you cancel the service and mow it yourself after the first time they didn't show up? I would have, except I had already paid for the first service when I signed up and it was non refundable. Jump to 3 weeks after the initial scheduled service, and my property was sold. I no longer needed the mowing service because the property no longer belonged to me. I tried to cancel service before the second mowing, but was told I couldn't because I signed up for weekly service at a discount, and can't cancel until at least two mowings had been performed. I tried explaining that the property was no longer mine and the new homeowner would likely not allow a random mowing provider on their property and may in fact even call the police on strangers being on their property. The company told me that it was my responsibility to contact the new homeowner and inform them of the mowing service and ask them to pay me back for it. Or, they could cancel the service from arriving to the property, but I would still have to pay for the service. Keep in mind this was all communicated through echat on their website because they DO NOT have a customer service phone number in existence. This fact is even stated on their site.

Terrible!!!! I paid for service but no one showed up and they will not response to any messages. Stay away!

I contracted with Lawn Guru May 12th asking them to
begin a bi-weekly mowing the week of the 17th. They
gave me a local service provider who said he'd start on
the 20th. He was a no show but messaged he'd be there
on the 21st. Another no show. I messaged back asking if
he would definitely be there Friday 22 May. He sent
back YES. Another no show. Weather was fine all 3 days.
I cancelled the service when he said Saturday was OK.
Now 3 days of rain & lawn is 8" tall!

I have been trying to cancel my service. There is no one to talk to. Customer service is nonexistent, you text a request no answer back. They charged my account even though the grass cutting was not done. I have written a request appropriately 4 times no response back. They continue to send cutters. I am frustrated..

My usual lawn maintenance person hurt his back - my grass was out of control. I found this app - great. The guy showed up - said I can do clean- up - asked the cost - almost $600!!! I have a very small property. Said no thanks. Received a text - responded with disappointmentin cost - nothing back. I think good for a quick emergency maybe - anything else - nope Look out for a hard sell

Also - my guy is back...mulch....clean-up....new.plants- $220.

This company is not dependable. Work is half done, and customer service is not valued. I’ve currently been waiting for someone to respond to my concerns from almost three weeks ago. All i received is somebody will get back with you within 24 hrs.it has been weeks as i mentioned.. Marc !! Terrible customer service

I initially booked service with Lawn Guru, but canceled the original appointment due to concerns about customer service before work even began. After being offered a coupon to retry the platform, I decided to give it another chance.

Unfortunately, my second experience was even worse. I specifically paid extra to select a particular service day, rearranged my schedule, returned home on Sunday expecting completed lawn service, and found that the pro had completely no-showed. There was no proactive notification, mitigation effort, update, or outreach from Lawn Guru, despite the platform clearly knowing the provider failed to appear.

What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of accessible customer service. There is no direct phone number for support, and when I raised concerns, I received a response stating, “I know it seems counterintuitive,” which honestly only reinforced the issue. If something requires that level of explanation, it probably is not intuitive or customer-friendly.

To make matters worse, I then attempted to delete my account using the same login credentials I had just used successfully, only for the system to repeatedly claim my password was incorrect.

Between the no-shows, service failures, inaccessible customer support, account issues, and the fact that I paid extra for a guaranteed day selection, this experience was not acceptable.

Lawnguru is just a scam! It's my stupidity that i was hoping they might get better and tried but they are pain the neck including the providers they have who have no seriousness on the commitment made to the customers. Specially for lawn mowing they purposefully delay and charge extra for the services. Worst experience ever and i'm done with these guys! don't recommend to anyone for any of the services and they are only to steal the customers money.

DO NOT USE LAWN GURU! They match you up with a provider (Sameen Wright). The day of my 1st service the provider canceled out of nowhere and said I have too many leaves and that i need yard cleanup; overgrown. I have ZERO leaves on my lawn and my yard needs no cleanup whatsoever...it's not even overgrown at all. Furthermore, I work from home and have cameras everywhere and provider did not even show up at all so his evaluation was 100% false.

I’m in North Ridgeville Ohio area. My wife called them for lawn mowing about week and a half ago. The first time they cut the grass they did not show up three days. By this time the grass was getting pretty tall. They cut it and clumps of cut grass on the lawn. It was obvious they didn’t think anything about removing. Today was the second time they cut the lawn. Again they left clumps of grass in the yard. The also missed a whole strip of grass about a foot wide. From what I understand I believe they hire local people to cut the grass not direct employees. It is obvious the guy that cut our yard didn’t care about the job. Time was the only thing on his mind. We’re cancelling after the grass two times. I wish I would have seen these reviews before we hired them.

Today my front and back yards and side yards were mowed, but no trimming was done ana also no blowing was done. The provider left without talking to me. He also has never knocked to let me know that he is here on the property. Only received text from the Lawnguru app that he is on his way.
