Discrepancy in legal services and outstanding refund balance
We engaged Lawa Legal Ltd for contractual debt recovery, paying £1,500 in professional fees and £4,778.68 for what were described to us as required Court fees.
A document was provided to us, described as a 'Final Court Order' from the East London Hearing Centre, which listed the company’s director as an attendee. However, upon our direct inquiry, the East London Hearing Centre provided us with written confirmation that they have no record of our case. According to the court, the case number provided to us relates to an entirely different matter.
Despite the firm's repeated written commitments to refund the total sum due, only a partial payment of £500 has been received. We have exhausted all direct avenues for recovering the remaining funds without success.
