We can’t say enough good things about LSTC, and especially our Travel Adviser Claire Pendlebury. LSTC recently organized a two week trip for us to explore NZ’s South Island, and managed to fit in an almost endless array of wonderful adventures. When weather events & family matters required some unexpected schedule adjustments, LSTC was right there to help us get our trip right back on track. We originally entertained three proposals from different travel companies. The one from Latitude South Travel was one of the more interesting and unique proposals.

Once selected as our preferred travel company, they were most helpful and accommodating in adjusting plans and offering alternative options to allow us to have a great New Zealand experience.

Booking something sight unseen, albeit with an unfamiliar company can be nerve-racking. But the Latitude South team handled the proposal process graciously and openly entertained any questions or alternate considerations, which was very comforting and reassuring.

They weren't just trying to "sell us" what they wanted to sell. Rather, Latitude South wanted to be sure we were comfortable with the experiences being stitched together.

I can't speak highly enough about Latitude South and the job Claire and her team did in creating and executing the best honeymoon trip for my wife and I! The entire planning process was so smooth and easy and Claire spent countless hours on Zoom with us crafting the perfect itinerary based off of our preferences. Our itinerary was diverse and seamlessly organized — from camping among kangaroos and sailing the coastlines, to snorkeling, exploring caves, hiking, sand boarding, and even luge riding. Our trip through New Zealand was fantastic! Latitude South (Claire) did an awesome job organizing the key points we needed to see and how to see them. We hiked. We catamaraned, We steamboated. And with a few days without schedule so we could sleep in and just enjoy being in this unbelievable part of the world. We were met at every new destination and taken to the next. Back in the U.S. after trekking and tramping my way across Australia and New Zealand with my trusty trip mate, Emily Cowdrick — and somehow, we both survived!

We camped with kangaroos (they snore, by the way), sailed the seas, snorkeled with fish that were definitely faster than me, watched crocs (not hunted them, promise), sand boarded, hiked, caved, and even tried our hand at luge riding — turns out gravity works really well down under!

This was our second trip using Latitude South. Without a doubt the best travel experience we’ve encountered. No detail was overlooked. Well organized and easy to follow. Easy to contact should plans change.

All the logistics and planning were well done and happened as planned. Several sites and tours were scheduled that were very good and suggested by Latitude South. We were contacted by them more than once before and during the tour to work on any problems, but there were none.

We cannot say enough positive things about our recent trip to New Zealand and Australia, and particularly about the Latitude South Travel Company. During the planning stages, they really listened to us to ensure the trip would be exactly what we were looking for and not just a cookie-cutter itinerary that everyone gets. We returned home with a lot of wonderful memories, including a few highlights. We really enjoyed our lunch at the winery near Picton, NZ; the location was perfect and the food superb. The towns and cities we visited all had their own character, which we were pleased to experience, but our favorites were probably Queenstown and Sydney. They each had a vibrancy which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate the day we visited Milford Sound, otherwise we're sure it would have been spectacular. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. We would wholeheartedly recommend Latitude South to anyone planning a trip to this special part of the world.

Latitude South curated a one of a kind, once in a lifetime experience for my husband and me! We dreamed of going to New Zealand for many years, and we were able to spend 3 1/2 amazing weeks seeing this spectacular place from Auckland to Queenstown as well as Rotorua, Wellington, Nelson, Golden Bay and Christchurch! Karen Pettit is the consummate professional, and she and her team made us feel completely pampered and cared for - every detail was taken care of. As well, Latitude South has developed an incredible team of travel partners including drivers, private guides, tour companies, hospitality hosts, outstanding accommodations and wonderful restaurant recommendations! Nothing was missed - nothing was left to chance! This was a DREAM trip!

When planning our honeymoon, we wanted a travel agency that was thoughtful, efficient, communicative, and would listen to our interests. We never felt like we were wasting away a day with travel, having any "filler" activities or too much down time, because the logistics were perfectly paced out. Karen really listened to what we wanted to get out of the trip and curated the trip of a lifetime. We are so grateful and are already thinking about when we can head back to NZ - of course with the help of Latitude South again!

Just returned from an incredible, orchestrated and curated trip by Claire at Latitude South. From the moment we landed in the Southern Hemisphere, there was not a detail overlooked.
