It’s my second time to do a session with LCUK Derby. The experience was amazing. I couldn’t thaank enough Evy (not sure of the spelling) for being so nice, she make sure I’m comfy and assess first what I know or have tried before. She is so gentle and has the best interest of the client, she’s the best!

Outstanding customer service experience

Very professional team. I had a Lazer underarm today and as per usual the level of professionalism is extremely high. I was running late and called in, the lady (sorry forgot to ask your name) was very accommodating. Thank you.

I had an appointment for full body hair removal but it was not as I was expected I called them yesterday to book that appointment and I asked specifically should I shave all my hair or you need to see it she said we don’t need to see it because you done it before with us but today I went and they said you shouldn’t shaved it and that it need to be seen and assessed before the treatment which was very inconvenient. I lost time and transportation costs and got so upset and it ruined my day

I had my first laser session done this afternoon by one of the therapist.
Sorry, I cannot remember the name of the therapist on the top of my head but I am very happy with the result and the treatment I have received in the clinic in Derby. Thank you for accommodating me and providing me the person centred care. Definitely will recommend to anyone who wants to achieve best result and good care.

I had booked 8 sessions and paid in full but couldn't attend last session because I was busy busy with some stuff and completely forgot about appointment,than they call me and I said if possible reschedule my appointment and they did for next day.When I visited they charged me £55 without telling me in advance.My main issue is why they didn't mention on the phone or before treating that I will have to pay for this session.Very angry on last session all the I had good experience but on last day I'm very disappointed.

I have been having quite a few sessions of Laser and the young lady- Evie is very professional, courteous and helpful- she is an asset to the Laser Clinic

I have my first underarm Lazer after 9 months. Staff are absolutely amazing and lady was absolutely gentle. The lady (sorry didn't ask your name) who did mine today was very professional did a quick skin test as I am very sensitive. Thank you for being kind, gentle and professional.

Say one thing than another. Not professional at all. New manager not professional at all wasted my time and money avoid at all costs

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. The receptionist was condescending and gave the impression they disliked their job. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was unwelcoming. To make matters worse, they kept changing my appointment time without proper notice or explanation.

In a customer-facing business, basic respect and professionalism should be non-negotiable. Even when things go wrong, staff should know how to handle situations with empathy and courtesy. Sadly, that was completely lacking here.

I hope this feedback encourages them to reflect and improve, because no customer deserves to be treated this way. I’ll be sharing my experience across platforms to help others make informed decisions.

If there was a zero rating, i would give it. This is the worst place to have any session. I booked 10 sessions with them for laser treatment and it was hell the whole time. Trust me it will be better if you save your money.

They would charge me different prices each time for my laser sessions. Some days £22 some £42.. last time £50 saying prices have gone up! How about consulting me before hand. Cancelled my sessions afew times too due to less staff! Sometimes send me away due to having make up on. The days I wasn’t wearing it they would clean my whole face so it’s totally clean for the session! Doesn’t make sense

# "Best laser clinic in UK"- will apply for the technology (which any clinic has nowadays), but not for all services as far as I can see throughout all reviews.

On my account that was made @Nottingham Laser Clinic- where I usually go for my treatments, I purchased laser treatmets @Derby Laser Clinic, I addressed the issue. Firstly I didnt know that having account with the clinic doesnt mean that you purchase all from that clinic, so all be carefull when purchasing.

I was granted by customer sevice refund, have it all on my email, was told to contact Derby laser clinic for further steps. Wich I did, for past 3 months I called hundred times, and managed to get the manager of Derby clinic just 3 times and been told this and that. Today Im furious, as I called again, and got someone on the phone again saying that manager will call me back. I demanded to speak to her, and she said to me that the manager has locked herself in her office so she cant speak to me, called 2 hours later and the same person hung up on me, called again and that person said that she is still in her office and cant speak to me- just humiliating.

I did point out every time to the person that I need to speak finally with someone who can give me any information and not hunging up on me, trying to treat me like rubbish just because it is about returning money is unapologetic- and Im a very patient person and politely was asking to speak to the manager- and cant even get her to speak to me why is it taking 3 months.

Hopefully no one else gets this treatment as I did from Laser Clinics- Derby, and someone does address the issue of communication with customers that arent from their town.

***UPDATE*** 18.07.2025
After leaving the review, manager of Derby clinic called me back saying that the manager before should have dealt with my issue and she will do it now, what had to be done. Called me again asking for the last 3 digits to proceed with the refund and asked me if Ill be leaving this review on and offered me some of the services which I have refused.
Since then- no refund, no call. Im again on my phone dialing the clinic, hopefully to hear from them. That is just amazing how easy it is to take the money but wait for 6 month of calls and time wasting with people's promises.

I got the call later after leaving this review, because thats the only way to be noticed and called back. Manager claims that the refund has been issued 2 weeks ago (no trace of that ofcourse), I called back and asked for proof, and manager said she will respond to my review TODAY with refund reference number so I can check with the bank. Also, she mentioned my husband calling her- and her words were that he was rude and threatened her (LOL) but this situation is acceptable for pas 6 months???

My husband "threatend" to report the company to the small claims agencies after 2-3 weeks of waiting on the refund (last said from her that she will proceed with that right away, but here I am month and a half later) she claims he was rude shouting- my message to her is please proceed with these accusations and play the record, my husband is the most patient man I know, and as you can see I am for 6 months :).

For the record, if I wasn't granted that refund I wouldn't bite that hard, but someone on higher position did and someone on lower position is postponing that as much as it goes..

I've been going to the clinic over 2 years now all I'm going to say is when you have a brilliant therapist who makes you feel welcome and comfortable and treats you with respect then you have no worries at all. They do a brilliant job. I would like to thank the brilliant therapists which are Evy and Beaty.💕

This review would have been higher but we’ve been left hugely disappointed in the overall service and the way in which customers are treated. This is the clinic in Derby.
I bought a package for my daughter which was for 8 treatments. Each treatment is at least 6 weeks apart and you cannot have a treatment if you have had any recent sun exposure for 6 weeks following this. The package is only valid for 1 year so do the maths! It is virtually impossible to get the 8 treatments. The company do not make this explicitly clear (I’m sure it’s in the small print of a whole load of stuff you sign on day 1) and were very unhelpful at the end just simply saying the corporate equivalent of tough ****! We left then having only had 6 treatments out of the 8 in the package and nothing offered to us at all for this. Very disappointing as otherwise a professional outfit but these packages are a scam!

Booked online a lips filler 0.7ml- £199 I was sting with an empty seringe no treatment was applyed, my lips are perfectly as before, the strange thing is that the nurse didn’t book me for a review and as the 2 weeks healing time passed, I went there to ask for a resolution the clinic manager said that she is gonna hear what the nurse had to say but at the appointment she didn’t came inside although I requested and complain about treatment I hadn’t received at ALL, the pictures before and after ar perfectly SAME and nobody did nothing!! I shall accuse her for malpractice as I was sting on my own money and didn’t receive the treatment I payed for IM GONNA FILL A LEGAL COMPLAINT !! This is not possible to go have a treatment done and recive nothing I have friends of mine whom had lips filler and for the 0.7 ml you can see that one had lip filler mine are perfectly same ! Do NOT GO THERE THEY ARE NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
