I am an elderly English-speaking person who wanted to learn a bit of Spanish before visiting my son who has moved to work in Colombia. I was looking for a week-long beginner’s course somewhere in Spain. There were quite a few providers to choose from on the internet but it did not take long for me to choose Language International. Their website information was clearly set out and gave a detailed insight into the courses available. Most importantly the quality of the communication was excellent. When I had queries Joana answered them promptly, and she gave me the impression that she was really interested in providing the best course that worked for me.
In the end I signed up to undertake a 5-day course through Language International with Di Akademie in Palma, Mallorca. I was not disappointed. As advertised it was well run language school, and the course was thoroughly enjoyable and well matched to my needs. There was a small group of beginners taught by a fabulously enthusiastic and knowledgeable Colombian teacher called Daiana. It was a really worthwhile and enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend both Language International and Die Akademie to my family and friends.

Fiz a compra de uma semana de curso pela plataforma em Barcelona e o valor marcava 45 euros por uma semana de aula. Dei início ao processo, mas, por outras demandas, deixei pra lá. Recebi um e-mail muito simpático da equipe da plataforma para que eu fechasse o pacote, o fiz, mandei todos os documentos solicitados e, recebi no dia seguinte o e-mail da equipe informando divergência de valores e me dando 3 opções:
A escola nos enviou uma fatura para o curso de espanhol em Barcelona que você agendou. Infelizmente, sinto em informar que a escola registrou preços incorretos em nosso website. Como resultado desse erro, nós infelizmente te cobramos a menos (cerca de € 180 EUR). Por favor, consulte o e-mail que recebi da escola abaixo:

"I would like to tell you that the price for the conversation class is 45€/ class and if the student would like to have 5 classes during 1 week, the final price will be 225€."

RESUMO DO SALDO:

Em nome da escola, gostaria de pedir sinceras desculpas por esse erro. Como você deve saber, nós não cobramos qualquer taxa extra aos estudantes, nós ganhamos apenas uma pequena comissão de cada reserva que completamos. Como a diferença de preço é bem considerável, perderemos muito dinheiro nessa reserva.

Mariana, por favor me avise qual dessas três opções você prefere. Novamente, eu realmente peço desculpas por esse erro e pela inconveniência que ele causou.

Enviei um e-mail solicitando a possibilidade de mudar de escola, sem resposta.
Percebi que não seria possível pela falta de resposta (que antes era bem rápida, cabe frisar) solicitei então o cancelamento, sem resposta e hoje solicitei novamente uma posição, sem resposta.

Gostaria do meu dinheiro de volta, visto que não tenho respostas ou responsabilidade sobre o erro da escola ou da plataforma.

Provavelmente se tivesse optado por pagar a diferença estaria com todos os e-mails respondidos em tempo recorde e não deixada sem retorno

Language International provided an easy format for evaluating the possible French classes available in the Nice, Cote d'Azur France region, enabling me to find one that fit my objectives and pay for it with minimal effort. The alpha.b school in central Nice was great, with a warm facility, wonderful teachers and amazing set of students.

I had just a week to brush up on my Greek in preparation for my travel to Greece in summer. I decided to take an intensive course for an advanced beginner in Greece. I reached out to Language International and was given multiple appealing options almost immediately. There were schools in Athens and on the islands that fit my needs. I was so surprised at how easy it was! With Kristele’s help, I had found the perfect class in just a few days. I would recommend Language International without hesitation. What a wonderful resource for any traveler who wants to study the language of their destination to enrich their experience there.

J'ai suivi un cours d'allemand pendant 3 semaines au did Deutsch-Institut Hamburg en utilisant les services de Language International.
Ma conseillère pédagogique Sandra Cedeno Alvarez s'est toujours montrée très professionnelle et réactive et mon séjour à Hambuurg s'est très bien passé.
Ce séjour linguistique a parfaitement répondu à mes besoins et j'ai apprécié à la fois le cadre très agréable de l'école située dans le centre de Hamburg, la qualité des locaux et des salles de classe, enfin le professionnalisme et la qualité pédagogique des enseignants.
C'était pour moi le premier contact en immersion avec la langue allemande et je prévois de poursuivre ce travail l'an prochain avec les mêmes intervenants (Language International et did Deutsch-institut Hamburg).

I booked a german language course. Joana Neves was helpful, reacted immediately and I booked. Nice school, friendly teachers, a short immersive experience with the language, right level, perfect atmosphere. Next year I'll book again.

Andrea Hall from LI was really helpful for the booking of my language course in Edinburg. She was very patient, answered to all my questions and gave useful advices. The agency fee is really low price and is worth it.

Thanks to Language International and very nice student advisor Sandra Cedeno Alvarez, booking my German course in Kitzbühel at Deutsch Institut Tirol was easy and absolutely less stressful.

Mon expérience avec Language International a été très satisfaisante du début à la fin.

La conseillère a été particulièrement attentive et disponible. Elle a répondu rapidement à toutes mes questions, m’a aidé à comparer les options et m’a accompagné à chaque étape de l’inscription. J’ai beaucoup apprécié son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse, qui m’ont rassuré et donné envie de poursuivre ce projet.

We booked an excellent school that provided good language teaching, a high standard of care for their pupils, a friendly home stay and fun excursions. Our daughter had a wonderful two weeks.

I'd say that our teacher really cares about everyone and that would made us feel like talking to a friend and made the learning process even better than a regular course.
The classes took place in a small but cozy building and it's vibe was really great.
The classes were really good in therm of content and I'd say that a learned a lot during them.

I spent 1 week in Valencia to learn english, the morning classes were ok but the PM activities and lunch at the campus were ridicolous. Food was disgusting and the day out were nonsense, they took us twice to the beach and once to a shopping mall, what a constructive experience !!!!!

After last year, I again asked Language International for help with my Japanese language school. Once again, they were very helpful and kind. I received quick and detailed answers to all my questions. I can recommend them with confidence.

In Cork was assigned for two weeks to two suitable language courses according to my level. My language skills were improved by motivated teachers who used different methods. My request for an individual lesson was fulfilled and I received a good diagnosis of my language difficulties and suggestions for solutions. The accommodation in a student accomodation was ok, as all the flatmates adhered to the house rules. The opportunities to explore the sights of the city and the surrounding area with other students were plentiful and interesting.

Som veľmi rada, že som pre môj jazykový pobyt v Južnej Kórei oslovila Language international. Komunikovala so mnou Sandra Cedeno Alvarez a reakcia na otázky a požiadavky bola veľmi rýchla a ústretová . Zabezpečili školu aj ubytovanie , transfer z letiska. Rada by som aj v budúcnosti využila ich pomoc pri ďalšom jazykovom pobyte.

Language international was super helpful in directing me to the the Andrioti school! The website was very user friendly and easy to use. At the school I had a very enriching experience learning and understanding the Greek language. Since the classes are usually quite small in terms of student sizes, it was almost as if I had booked a private lesson, as there were only 2 other students besides me! The teacher was very kind and caring and the classes were challenging, so study hard after class! And ask for books if necessary. But above all, smile, speak, read and write in Greek! This is strongly encouraged at the school and will help you grow confident in the language. I definitely recommend language international as their school recommendations are excellent and anyone who wants to improve or learn a language will learn what they can improve or need to better understand and practice. After every lesson, make flashcards using Quizlet based on the vocab words you learned. That's my best tip and then practice until you know it perfectly.

I had a great experience with Language International. My advisor, Joana Neves, helped me find the best school in New York for my teenage daughter. It was a great success! She then made sure I received all the necessary information. In sum, I am very satisfied.
