Kumon offers individualised maths and English study programmes, designed to help children of all ages and abilities fulfil their potential.
With more than 600 study centres across the UK and Ireland, Kumon is the largest provider of Maths and English supplementary education for children, delivering proven academic success where children learn valuable study skills and improve their confidence, focus and motivation.
Kumon aims to give students the tools they need to enjoy learning and thrive academically. Kumon-trained Instructors guide their students through work that is set at just the right level for them, keeping them engaged and making progress. By studying little and often through daily worksheets and regular class sessions (online and/or in the centre), students steadily increase their ability and fluency, building their skills in small, manageable steps. Parents can choose either the traditional paper and pencil format or digital, with KUMON CONNECT on their tablet and stylus.
Incorporating technology into our tried and tested materials enables Kumon to provide even more support to children, so while they develop the skills to study independently, their Instructor will be at their side between classes, offering individual guidance, marking, and carefully adjusting their individual study plan as they progress.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Kumon. The teachers are incredibly friendly, patient, and always encouraging, which makes my child feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
Since starting the program, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my child’s maths foundation.
The structured approach and consistent practice really help build strong fundamentals in Maths and English. We are very happy with the progress and would definitely recommend Kumon to other parents looking to strengthen their child’s maths and english skills.

Our twin girls have been attending Kumon for near 2 years, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for their education!
Both subjects,English and Maths, have made a noticeable difference. In Maths, they’ve built strong foundational skills, improved speed and accuracy with calculations.
The English program has been equally fantastic. Their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing have improved dramatically—they’re more fluent, amd enjoy learning new topics.
Kumon’s step-by-step, self-learning approach is amazing to see.and the daily worksheets have helped them develop discipline.
The instructors are patient, encouraging, and always ready to guide when needed. shoutout to Paraig in Dundrum Kumon Dublin! Thank You

Whitley Kumon centre team has effective knowledge and is extremely expertise in teaching. They have time to support students to develop confidence of asking questions and seeking support. Which is the key element in children development and learning.

Set low level unmotivating, time & money wasting worksheets
We go to the cricklewood branch run by GJ. Despite repeatedly saying that my son was put on a very low level the franchise owner did not amend it until we gave notice to leave! Also, the communication has been slow and limited. Personaly, I feel very disappointed and short changed. I would not recommend kumon and I want a refund due to time wasted on low level worksheets. Our views as parents was ignored. I want to warn others to be careful of being set very low level, unmotivating, time and money wasting worksheets, which some branchs are known to do.

Under the Kumon Method, Instructors usually set an easy starting point to build a rock-solid foundation, ensuring students gain confidence, speed, and focus before tackling harder, advanced material. We would not wish you to feel your views were ignored, and would have hoped that the methodology was explained to you. We find that by beginning with material they can complete with 100% accuracy, students develop self-esteem, master foundational skills, and establish a consistent daily study routine. I'm sorry that you feel that was not suitable or motivating for your child.
Accuracy in marking - especially punctuation!
I like the process however, the attention to detail is lacking. For example punctuation expectation/ lack of correction which is just as important as choosing the correct verb.

Thank you for that feedback. The goal of the Kumon English Programme is to cultivate an advanced level of reading ability. More specifically, it is to have students acquire the ability to read passages critically. Punctuation is an important part of learning to write English, especially when it helps with understanding a text.
Incredible support! - Small Heath Kumon Centre
Over a year ago, I was in desperate need of extra tuition for my two children who had fallen behind in their education. Based on a family recommendation, I decided to give Kumon a go—and what a revelation it has been.
The centre (correction - Small Heath Centre), led so brilliantly by Saika, has played an incredible role in both my children’s academic and personal development. Through tailored, deliberate support that builds on each child’s individual strengths, they are now working at Kumon international standards—far beyond anything I could have imagined.
That’s coming from a parent who has always been optimistic about their children’s education, yet I can honestly say I could not have done this without this centre.
A massive thank you to the entire team—keep up the exceptional work! 👏👏👏

I feel very happy and satisfied with the Kumon online English tuition. The daily practice has had a very positive impact on my daughter. I can see clear improvement in her reading, vocabulary, and confidence in using English. She is more comfortable forming sentences and enjoys learning every day. The structured routine has helped her become more disciplined and independent in her studies. As a parent, it makes me happy to see her progress steadily and develop a strong foundation in English.

Since my son 7 year old started attending Kumon classes I have seen a great improvement in his school work and his Kumon teacher and assistant are amazing. I would highly recommend Kumon to any parent.

That's our fantastic KUMON CONNECT service, which enables your child's Kumon Instructor to really understand your child's systems and thought processes, and be able to guide them closely even when they are studying at home. We believe it to be a fantastic service, however if you wish to study Kumon using our traditional paper-based materials, you can speak to the Instructor, or perhaps we can transfer to a different centre that still offers both services.

My kids have absolutely thrived in both subjects, since going to Gráinne’s Kumon in Garryduff, Cork. I would recommend 100%. They went from a low stem grade to a 9 in eighteen months. Worth every penny. Thank you, for your hard work and dedication!
