Comprehensive retail POS with strong tools but initial complexity amount of time…

I’ve spent a fair amount of time working with KORONA POS, and overall, my experience has been largely positive, though not without a few areas that could be improved.

One of the strongest aspects of KORONA POS is its flexibility. The system is clearly designed with a wide range of retail businesses in mind, and it shows in how customizable the features are. From inventory tracking to reporting, there’s a lot you can tailor to fit your workflow. The reporting tools in particular stand out—they’re detailed and give useful insights without being overly complicated once you get familiar with them.

That said, the learning curve can be a bit steep at the beginning. The interface isn’t the most intuitive right out of the box, especially if you’re coming from a simpler POS system. It takes some time to understand where everything is and how to fully utilize the features. Better onboarding or more guided setup would make a big difference here.

Customer service has generally been reliable. When issues come up, the support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and they do make an effort to resolve problems thoroughly rather than just offering quick fixes. However, response times can occasionally vary depending on how busy they are, and for urgent issues, that can be a bit frustrating.

System stability has been solid overall. I haven’t experienced major downtime, and transactions process smoothly. Integration with hardware and other tools works well for the most part, although initial setup with certain peripherals can require extra effort.

Pricing feels fair for what you get, especially considering there are no long-term contracts required. It gives some peace of mind knowing you’re not locked in if your business needs change.

If I had to suggest improvements, I’d say: streamline the user interface, improve onboarding resources, and aim for more consistent customer support response times. Those changes would elevate the experience significantly.

In summary, KORONA POS is a powerful and dependable system once you get past the initial learning curve. It’s especially well-suited for businesses that need detailed reporting and customization, but it may feel a bit overwhelming for those looking for something very simple.

Smooth Performance for every sales

We have been using KORONA POS mainly for handling daily transactions and tracking stock, which has been a smooth experience for us. The system is consistent making it handle sales without delays and we haven't had any issues with it freezing or slowing down even during busy hours.
On the other hand, some parts of the system could be more user-friendly, especially when trying to explore features beyond the basics. It's not difficult but its not always as intuitive as it could be.
Overall, it's a dependable POS system that focuses on getting the core things right. If you need something stable and easy to manage for everyday operations, it's a good option.

Decent system overall, but takes time to get used to

I’ve been using KORONA POS for managing sales and inventory, and my experience has been mixed but generally okay.
On the positive side, once everything is set up, the system runs reliably. Transactions are processed without issues, and it handles day-to-day operations well. Inventory tracking is also helpful, especially for keeping things organized without needing separate tools.
However, getting comfortable with the system took longer than expected. Some features aren’t very intuitive, and certain settings are harder to find than they should be. It’s not impossible to learn, but there’s definitely a learning curve, especially if you’re trying to do more than just basic tasks.
Another thing is that it feels a bit limited when you want to connect it with other tools or customize workflows. For simple setups, it’s fine, but more advanced needs can be a bit frustrating.
Overall, I’d say it’s a decent option if you need something stable for everyday use, but it may not be the best fit if you’re looking for flexibility or advanced integrations.

One stop system for secure payments retail services

I have used KORONA POS for the last 12 months to build reliable sales and marketing infrastructure that has put our retail stores on global map. It has simple User Interface and ready price and product templates that can be customized to enhance effective business operations. It serves our customers better with secure credit card processing system for fast payments. Managing single customer profile has ever been efficient with this platform.

This company will go the extra distance for your business!

We're a new Korona customer and got Korona support's help for a multitude of things; POS configuration, data import, reports, etc.... and those were the simple things. They also went the extra mile to configure our new cc terminals & spent a ton of time trouble shooting & programming them to get us up and running, including directly communicating with both our c/c dealer and processor. Changing POS providers is always challenging, but when you simultaneously change c/c processors & providers at the same time while needing an integrated solution, it can be a real challenge. Korona POS support and sales departments are up to the task! Totally appreciate them.

Korona Review

Great overall POS and management system. Easy and fast to set up, simple to use, and highly scalable. Robust reporting on all operational details is complemented by a customizable dashboard. Modular packages allow for additional functions as needed.

Korona and Our Small Business

Our store has been using Korona POS and it has made running our buisness easier. The system allows for us to enter and remove things from inventory easily and frequently. When we have hiccups we are able to reach their customer service who is responsive and quick with answers. The instilation was not too difficult to complete. Our employees use the system every day and have very little trouble using it.

Great customer service with KORONA POS

Customer service at KORONA is absolutely top level! It's a pretty darn good POS system, and well-priced. We've encountered a few stumbling blocks in implementing it for our small museum and gift shop, but the CS team is always ready with prompt and accurate support.

Love the Korona POS retail. It is very robust and customizable to our needs.

Customer service is fantastic and located in the United States. We've asked for certain features and they are already available. Customer service walks you through every step of the process. Our customers love the detailed receipts and speedy process of checking out and we love the inventory control. The whole package meets all our needs as a small business with the means to grow with us.

We lost all of our prices at Xmas

We lost all of our prices. At Xmas! The support team stayed with us until we were able to come up with solutions, as they were more than one approach. The reporting in Korona is extremely good. Did not know how much functionality is builtin , apart from the reporting itself there must be a number of links that are embedded so that we were able to get some of our prices back without breaking the bank. Kudos to Nicolas and the team for their unwavering assistance and proof of what a team should be.
