The dress takes longer than expected to arrive but that wasn't an issue. The issue started over the fit. It runs quite small. Too small for me to wear. The site says you have 30 days to return the item. I wasn't asking for an exchange as I knew the exchange would not arrive on time. You have to email them and request a refund and why. I did that but then they want more information so I sent that then they ask for a picture of the item and the packaging and I sent that. They agree to take the item back and give a refund and sent the return form to fill out. But the return is to an address in China and there is a disclaimer that if it gets held up in customs you won't get a refund. So now you are out your money and still have no dress. The company gives the impression it is in the U.S.
Oh, they offered to work with me to get me something in exchange, "for a small added fee".

Too late I checked on the legitimacy of this company and discovered the trust level is very low. Lesson learned. Always check out an online company to see it's trust level.

This is not a company I can trust. When I received my order, it looked completely different from what the website showed. The quality of the fabric was unexpectedly so poor. I requested a full refund by email, but It took a long time to receive a response which affected my 30 day window to return the product.

If I could give a -5 I would. This is the WORST purchasing experience ever. Not enough room to go into detail. SCAM China operation. Claim to be in business 15 years, but website opened in 2025. I am still working on returning 2 dresses after Days of e-mails. They wanted pictures of wrappings it came in then of merchandise. Then I had to get a DHL quote to return. Wanted me to measure and weigh in kg to even get a quote for return costs. Good grief. There is no one to talk to. All done by email. What a process. I Think they must want the 30 day return window they brag about to run out so they don't have to take the product back, and at this rate that will probably happen. I am still e-mailing Customer service with questions and will wait yet another day for a reply. Then there will be something else, and another day will pass etc. I'm sure I will never get my money back. Run, run run from this company. Shoddy merchandise, even worse customer service.

I am usually good about checking if websites are legit. Knox & River are a Scam!!!! Do not buy anything from this site. The items you get are nothing like the online pictures and they are total crap. Then they will not honor their return policy because it is all a scam. Stay away!

I usually double check any website before ordering, but this one fooled me for sure. Their "retirement" story, etc did not smack of the usual cheap Chinese scam site. But that is exactly what it is. I bought 2 items, a top and a pair of pants. They arrived and the fabrics and construction were very poor quality. The pants were supposedly $200 regularly priced, I would not have purchased them at any price if I had seen them prior to purchasing. I spent a little over $100 and the only way they will issue a refund is if I mail them back to China. The cheapest postage I can find so far is about $80. I am not going to pay that since there is no guarantee that they will credit my account. So the best I can do is post my experience on as many sites as possible to keep others from making the same mistake.

Please don’t get scammed by this company. I ordered a dress which was advertised as denim but when it came it wasn’t denim but of a very poor quality. I contacted them to return but when I saw it had to be returned to China at my own expense which was costly I chose to not return it. Now I see the company is closing! Thank goodness before they scam more people.

I’m writing a second review because I contacted the “New York” company to return the poor quality clothing and they gave me a link to DHL to return the products at my expense to China. That’s going to cost about $60 per item. Do not by any circumstances buy from this company.

Definitely seems like a scam. I saw an ad on Pinterest and looked up their site, and as the other reviewer said, they seem to have fake trust pilot reviews on their site.
