I had a really great experience working with Knock. With their program, you can buy a new home and wait to sell your current home until that process is complete. Its exactly what I was looking for. Their fees are also lower than any other program I found offering these services. My loan officer Sara Stead was wonderful to work with. She answered my calls and emails promptly. The process was very fast and smooth and she communicated efficiently with all other parties involved (mortgage team on new home and insurance company). I would absolutely work with Knock again in the future.

I'm a loan officer at a large firm here in the United States and I've worked with Knock for around 6 months now. The thing I like about them is how incredibly detailed and hard working everyone is on their team. I've had the pleasure of working with Meg Banas, Sara Stead, and Trisha Schmidt. I've closed a number of loans with them and helped clients who were in tricky situations get out of them and get into a new home with not only my help, but with help of the great people over at Knock as well. Any realtors or loan officer that may read this - I strongly advise you reach out to any of the people I listed for an awesome experience. They will help with guiding clients through the process, explaining it to them FOR you, and working with you and the client until we get to the finish line. I owe a portion of my closed deals to Knock, that's how much they've helped.

In my experience, this company operates like a bait-and-switch lender. I would not do business with them again. I also have serious concerns about the authenticity of some of their reviews and whether customers are being encouraged to write reviews themselves.

There appears to be a lack of accessible leadership when issues arise, making it extremely difficult to get clear answers or resolve problems. In my case, their handling of extensions created significant issues with my deals, and I was left without a clear explanation of how or why these problems occurred.

Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage potential customers to do their due diligence before doing business with this company. I am also submitting a complaint to the CFPB regarding my experience.

I wouldn't recommend. The lending department isn't up front about what will happen after you settle on new house & your old house doesn't sell
Then listing department isn't willing to make accommodations for the lack of communication from the lending department.

Also difficult to get anyone on the phone.

Customer service, being available no matter how many questions

The process was simple and straightforward. Clear instructions and explanations were always given for proper actions needed.

At first I was optimistic about this program. Immediate emails and correspondence but keep in mind they run a credit report, gather your drivers license information (upload), ask for your purchase contract on the new home and other personal information and you upload photos of your current home that you are selling.

Then there is the stall. You hear nothing at a time you are off the market (a requirement) and then I reached out to the loan officer and he states there is only one investor they are working with. RED FLAG. Says investor is concerned house has been on the market too long and that if I do this program I can't list my home until I close on my new home. I explain why I can't do that with no offer amount (the 6 month buy-out option) and then I just felt like this was not a bridge loan rather another i-buyer scenario so I state to them that I am putting my home back on the market and I did that night.

Next day I reach out to the sales agent giving them an opportunity for an explanation of the program since they have so much of my personal information and a week later still no response. Called again today, no response. The latter is poor customer service if you can't explain what the program really is.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK on these i-buyers. MOST, if not ALL of these types of programs (i-buyers) end up only offering 75% or less of what your home is worth plus fees.

Logged in today and my loan is cancelled out but again, no follow-up on WHAT THE PROGRAM REALLY IS and yes, they still have all of your personal information.

I had such a great experience with the Knock program and working with Natalia! She was so caring, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. She made everything so much easier and was always there to answer my questions. I truly appreciate all her help and would definitely recommend Knock and Natalia!

Knock was wonderful! I had a dedicated team that was professional, accessible, and easy to work with. The staff were responsive, and always assured that my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. With Knox’s financing I was able to sell my existing home, finance my new build seamlessly, and do both without added pressure to quickly complete the sale and move.

We worked with Sara Stead over at Knock and we were blown away by her. I'll be honest, no part of me wanted to rely on using Knock since there's a cost, but ultimately without them we wouldn't have been able to purchase our dream house so I'm happy with the outcome. One of my perpetual frustrations with services like this is that the company knows you're in a tough spot and need them, so they generally also offer subpar customer service while extracting their fees. This couldn't be further from the truth in my experience with them.

Sara is the most capable person I've ever worked with in real estate. She kept us apprised of everything along the way much more efficiently than my primary lender, she helped to push everyone along, and helped to accelerate the closing. On top of that, her responsiveness was second-to-none. I called her a dozen times, only once was she not able to answer immediately but I had a text within 5 minutes and a call back within 10.

In summation, if you're in a situation where your house isn't selling as quickly as you need but there's another you need to close on, their service was timely with star-studded customer service. Their product (for me) was also significantly better than OpenDoor and Orchard, both of which we evaluated. If you're in the same situation as me I can't recommend Sara and Knock enough.

Great customer service and easy process

I have never experience home lending as expedient and thorough as Knock Lending LLC. Everyone should use their service.

Everyone moved so quickly to help us close on our new home and made it as smooth as it could possibly go.

Every day there was a new request for documentation. Lack of process and procedure to the point where it seemed totally random. Our contact was not helpful. If it wasn't for the efforts of our realtor and the Zillow rep this may not have gotten done.
