My favourite retailer of pro audio in the UK by far. Always incredibly helpful and highly personable. KMR have always helped me make the right purchases for my business and have never left me waiting.

The experience was so refined i felt like i should be paying for it. James was extremely informative and pleasant to talk to. In fact his suggestions were far more appropriate than what i originally went to hear!

If not buying vintage pro-audio, but new gear there are only very few sources I go to and Nick at KMR is top of my list. 5 Star Plus recommendation without the slightest hesitation.

I've done many orders at KMR Audio throughout the years (mainly DAV Electronics preamps), which has been a joyful experience without any exception. I was in contact with Nick mainly, and his replies and further practical procedures are quick and efficient. Even when the parcel services aren't up to par always, he has been very responsive and friendly. And their prices are very competitive. Warmly recommended!

I reached out to Stefan and the team at KMR for some info on the Carnaby Harmonic Eq. The bank of knowledge they had was immensely detailed, to the point the purchase became a no brainer. Stefan shipped it that morning and I received it the next day. Once I racked and plumbed it into my small stash of outboard hardware, Wooow.. I was blown away by the reality of.. One how factual the information I received was and Two how good this thing sounded. Thanks Stefan & Team. Appreciated 100%. My ears will never be the same again!

I am so happy that I bought my new studio equipment from KMR. The staff were extremely helpful every step of the way. They provide excellent technical support and went the full mile in every circumstance to make sure that everything was set up so that it would work optimally.
I would not hesitate to recommend that any music professional buy their products through KMR because they make sure that you are not alone and you can always get through to speak to someone.

One of my Barefoot MM26’s wouldn’t power up, and I felt sick to my stomach, but I had a life line…Stefan. Come in, let James take a look at it (James the genius) within half and hour, he’d replaced the power supply, and all was well in the world!
I’m not a massive studio, but KMR care about all their customers…what matters to you, matters to them and they had me up and running in no time. We are so lucky to have a company with such amazing staff and sales team. The outrageous beautiful gear is something else, but the aftercare…is second to none.

Purchased two pieces of equipment from KMR for my son’s music studio that needed some serious technical knowledge to get them integrated. Stefan help and expertise along with the help of his team made this painless. Within a short time my son’s studio was up and running. Great service standard levels and would highly recommend Stefan and KMR.

I purchased an item and then needed to return it. It took them nearly 2 weeks to respond to me. I was happy to pay for the return of the item as there was nothing wrong with it, however, KMR, against UK Distance Selling Laws, has failed to refund me for the outgoing postage and has deducted from the cost of the item - something they don't state in their terms. I have called them, had the phone put down, and emailed them numerous times, but they have failed to respond.
A massive disappointment - one I am sure not to make again.

EDIT. So now I have left a negative review for KMR, now they want more information so "they can help me". Do you not think you should answer customer's emails instead?

I bought Maschine MK3 recently and the price was quite high compared to other online music shops. I contacted them, but they would not refund the additional amount spent. I would not purchase anything from KMR audio anymore. Why would I unnecessarily spend the hard earned money?

Writing and mixing music over the years, I've tended to buy equipment and software online, based soley on online research. However this time, I wanted to hear for myself what was going to be an expensive purchase. So, I contacted KMR and Stefan arranged for me to test out the product at their store in Whetstone, London. When I arrived, I was given all the help I needed from a guy called James and as much time as I needed, without any sales pressure.

I ordered the product but unfortunately it took a lot longer to arrive than first expected. This was not KMR's fault but the company who made the product. Indeed, the product was out of stock for a number of months across the whole of the UK. Despite this, Stefan kept in regular contact with me and even tried to help me, offering multiple temporary solutions until the item arrived. Stefan is a real gentleman and a trusted professional.

KMR has both a physical store and an online store, which I trust and is very competitively based. I will continue to buy from KMR in the future because the creative industry needs trusted physical stores to test what could be an expensive piece of equipment.

Great service! I was slightly nervous about buying an expensive instrument online so phoned up. The response was cheery, helpful and highly professional. I paid over the phone and the item arrived the next day. A good price too. I'd happily use this shop again.

Meant to write a review a while back but forgot - bought a waldorf Quantum from them back in 2021 - it had problems with the screen - communication was good, and they solved the problem - they really do seem to (a) know a lot about music gear; (b) care about their customers - i'd happily use them again and recommend them to others
