Defective product, months of silence, and a dismissive $30 refund offer
I purchased a sheet set from Kickoff Living (via Amazon) in July 2025. The fitted sheet and pillowcases were fine, but the top sheet was defective—cut several inches narrower at one end, so it cannot drape evenly on both sides of the bed.
I first contacted the company on September 15, immediately providing photos that showed the defect. After one short reply asking for “measurements,” they went silent for weeks. When they finally resurfaced, they said they’d been “out for holiday” and would “get back to me tomorrow.” They didn’t.
By early November — after nearly seven weeks of waiting — I sent more photos and detailed measurements proving the sheet was missized even when laid flat on the floor. Their next message accused my mattress of being “wavy” and offered a $30 partial refund instead of a proper replacement.
This issue has consumed hours of my time removing bedding, photographing, measuring, and compressing files just to provide proof the company itself requested. For a product listing at $119.99 (I paid $85.09 after a coupon), that level of quality control and customer service is unacceptable.
I would strongly advise buyers to avoid this brand until they take responsibility for product defects and basic customer communication.
