Thank you for your order and review. We do pass all contact information on to the courier company we use (either DPDLocal or FedEx) and unfortunately it is down to them whether they use it or not. It is something we repeatedly ask them to do but on some occasions such as yours they do let us down.

Terrible customer service, communication and self centered approach don't use
Order placed on next day dispatch, received nor heard nothing for 10 days there after, I chased was promised delivery next day, received nothing from the carrier, checked the tracking number then provided and the item was then returned to sender. I requested a refund and was told I had to wait for the item to be returned to Kent Plumbers, when I explained my contract was between myself and Kent not their couriers it fell on deaf ears, eventually got a refund after 14 days, terrible service and only fortunate that the part was not urgent, cannot recommend Kent and would not use again.

Your order was processed the next working day as per our delivery policy as you had placed the order after we had closed, and as per our policy the 1-2 business days that are quoted are from when the item has been dispatched. We do accept that your delivery went well beyond this.
When we receive confirmation from our supplier, on over 99% of occasions it means the product has been delivered, so when we received confirmation your order has been dispatched, unless we hear differently we have to assume it has been delivered the following business day. When you were told you would receive the delivery the next day, that was what we were told by the courier company, we can only pass on the information they give and this is not something we would falsify.
The courier themselves delayed the delivery to yourself and ended up returning the item to sender. I am still awaiting a reason from FedEx as to why this happened as it is not clear from the tracking information. This has been explained multiple times that the delays were not down to us, but down to FedEx.
The poor service has come from FedEx, not Kent Plumbing Supplies.
With regards to waiting 14 days for a refund. You have not waited 14 days after the initial refund request to receive your refund. You requested a refund on 01/12/2025 and the refund was processed on 02/12/2025, well within the timescales set by online selling laws.
We have apologised for FedEx's mistakes on many occasions, although these were totally out of our control, and can only apologise that you feel that the "terrible service" has been down to Kent Plumbing Supplies, and wish you well in finding a new supplier.

I am very sorry to learn that our service has not been what it should be. I have spoken with the team here and I believe that the people you had spoken to on those occasions were new to the team and still in their training stage, not that this excuses not being updated on your order.
