UPDATE: Since posting this review over a month ago the complaints process with Kallums Bathrooms has unfortunately only reinforced many of the concerns originally raised.

Whilst senior management became involved, communication throughout the complaint process continued to be delayed and reactive, with multiple response deadlines committed to in writing subsequently missed. We repeatedly had to chase for updates ourselves via emails and messages. During the complaint process, we were also informed that multiple members of staff originally involved with our project had since left the business. Whilst we appreciate staff changes happen within any company, this appeared to contribute to the ongoing communication issues, delays, and lack of continuity we experienced throughout the project and complaint handling process. All of this is documented in writing.

Kallums continue to maintain that the vanity unit supplied matched the showroom sample we were shown and based our purchasing decision on. However, following review of the showroom sample and supplied finish, the manufacturer’s representative acknowledged the finish differed. We have this documented in writing, together with photographic evidence of the showroom sample.

In addition to the issue regarding the supplied product itself, the process was further impacted by incorrect delivery timelines, delays caused by a replacement unit being mislabelled in Kallums’ warehouse between October and December, and the disruption and additional costs associated with rearranging fitters on multiple occasions.
Despite us holding written confirmation from Kallums acknowledging that the replacement unit had been sitting mislabelled in their warehouse between October and December, this issue has since been disregarded within their formal complaint response, despite the significant delays and disruption it caused.

Despite the length of time this matter has been ongoing and repeated attempts to resolve it amicably, Kallums have declined to offer any financial resolution towards the inconvenience and costs incurred.

As matters currently stand, we are now considering pursuing this through formal channels and seeking independent advice.

We are updating this review to ensure it accurately reflects both our experience and the current status of the complaint process. We will continue to update this so the public can accurately follow the progress and outcome of the formal process as matters develop further.

We’ve worked with Kallums Bathrooms on several residential projects recently and have been consistently impressed with their service.

They are incredibly helpful - particularly when dealing with the inevitable challenges that arise on site - and always approach situations with a calm, solutions-focused mindset.

Their professionalism and willingness to prioritise our needs make them a pleasure to collaborate with.

Communication is clear, detailed, and reliable throughout, and the advice they provide is always thoughtful and on point.

A fantastic team to work with - we look forward to many more projects together in the future.

My project involved reconfiguring a bathroom and a toilet into a bathroom and shower room, complicated by the limited space available. I was impressed by Kallums Guildford showroom, with its bathroom displays and large-scale screens, and its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. David, who was responsible for the design, was very welcoming, and explained clearly how to achieve my aim. He soon produced a practicable plan, and an estimate which combined quality with cost-effectiveness. I would recommend Kallums for their ability to turn a potentially complex process into a straightforward one. They also deserve credit for installing the bathrooms through Ryan and his team at R&S Bathrooms.

It was an installation which involved working in a small space, and required numerous trades in building new partitions, Installing a Velux, completely replacing the plumbing, plastering, electrics (including underfloor heating), carpentry and tiling. Everything was coordinated and performed efficiently, and to a high standard, and each one of the team was professional, friendly and courteous, always taking the time to discuss progress with me. They started early and, when necessary, finished late, and I was impressed by the fact that someone was working on the project every day of the build. Ryan always responded promptly to all my requests, and helped with practical issues relating to the design. I was even assisted with plumbing issues unrelated to the project! The trust I had in the team made even more confident about the success of the end product.

If you’re looking for exceptional results, I’d definitely recommend asking for Charlotte. I had a fantastic experience working with her at Kallums Bathroom in Guildford. She listened closely to what I wanted, offered brilliant suggestions, and turned my ideas into a beautifully thought-out design.

We had amazing customer service!

Good design and product quality, but the positive experience ends there with the Guildford store. After we paid in full, everything became slow and painful. They sent several incorrect items – the wrong toilet, the wrong tiles, the wrong countertop. My plumber even flagged it wasn’t the right toilet on the order and they still sent the wrong one, meaning we incurred extra tradesmen costs for wasted time. We specifically picked a vanity unit with a quick turnaround; only after we paid we were then told it would be double the time. Items all sent individually so tradesmen had to wait or come back when everything was there. When I asked for a list of outstanding items, we were asked to list what had been delivered to work it out from there. Trying to speak to anyone was impossible - three Kallums staff left with no warning/courtesy call or email meaning communication was terrible. We won’t be using them again based on the service, which is a real shame.

We chose Kallums for the complete renovation of a small family bathroom because it offered a design and installation service and because we appreciated the polite and 'unpushy' people, particularly Howard, we encountered in their Putney showroom.While the belated arrival of some of the items caused upsetting delays(which is the reason for not awarding 5 stars)the end result was extremely good.This was due to the skill and professional behaviour of Wael the fitter.His willingness to work anti-social hours to get the work completed was commendable.In addition his ever friendly and well mannered behaviour made his presence in the house entirely comfortable.Thank you Wael!

We had a terrible experience with Kallums that has left us about to pursue legal action. I would not recommend them.

DO NOT USE Kallums. I would leave zero stars if I could. They quoted for a bathroom project, we paid them a £15k deposit to proceed. They did a minimal amount of work, then their estimated costs increased by £25k. We told them that we would need to find another supplier as we could not afford this increased cost. They initally agreed to refund our deposit minus a small amount of cost they said they had incurred, but after chasing them for 4 weeks with no response they have now said they will not refund any of the deposit. We are now progressing a legal route to recover our funds. Be warned.
