Stay Away
Only order from Josh's Frogs if you want dead/nonexistent insects that were packaged months ago. I find it confusing how they can have tropical insects sitting in an airtight cup on a shelf for 2+ months and then go on and say, "Live Arrival Guarantee" Pretty bad. Fast response on refund though. They must have a lot of experience issuing those.

I spent thousands of dollars with Joshs. Big mistake. They seem to have a neverending issue with shipping. Shipping wrong products, shipping live purchases to wrong address, NOT shipping what you ordered and the customer service stinks. I spent thousands of dollars my last year using Joshs because I had no choice at the time geographically. Never again. Never never again should anyone trust Joshs for important orders. They promote themselves a lot but should be fixing their problems first.

Awful service
I will not be ordering from Josh's Frogs again. I typically ordered from Flukers or Ghann's, but they were having issues. I decided to take a chance and order from Josh's Frogs. I have an extensive collection and understanding of herps and feeder insects. I have even bred them, but I don't have the time right now, so I have been ordering them. The cultures they sent have 0 surviving flies or maggots. The crickets died within 24 hours (I have water and food sources.) The roaches were the only thing that was in good shape. The customer service treats you like a child with no knowledge. I understand some people may not understand the basics, but others have extensive experience. I don't have time to argue for a refund over email. I'm shocked by how shady this company became. I met Josh several times at Tinley, and thought he was a stand up guy. I was wrong apparently.
It was cheaper than I usually pay, but the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here.
One last thing, no offer of a refund, replacement, or even store credit.

I received the wrong variation of frogs
I received the wrong variation of frogs, and when I emailed regarding this issue, I was told to try and use brighter lights, because then maybe I would be able to see the true color of my frogs. The manager did not help. The supervisor did not help. I spent 2 weeks back and forth talking with the team and no one wanted to admit fault or take responsibility.

I've always received great products and service from this vendor. Both on orders directly from their website and through Amazon. I've purchased feeder insects, enclosures, stands, plants and dry goods. I really appreciate their contact free warehouse pickup option.
Best place to get frogs
10/10 I ordered two blue phase whites tree frogs from you guys and their doing amazing!!! I will definitely come back and get some more as long as y’all give me different shades of blue 😂
I ordered 3 things from them
I ordered 3 things from them. A tiger leg monkey tree frog, a 18x18x24 terrarium, and springtails. The frog showed up sick, and proceeded to die 10 days later after not ever eating a single one of the 3 different sizes of crickets I got him. The terrarium arrived broken, which was refunded because they were unable to provide a replacement, so I had to superglue it. Oh, and pretty sure the springtails never hatched either. While customer service was friendly, they were not very helpful.

I bought this small plant through Amazon from Josh's Frog for 24.99. After less than 3 weeks, the leaves turned brown and wilted. I called the shop for a refund or replacement. Kass explained to me they only refund within 5 days after delivery. Who can know for sure if a plant will live or die within five days.? So I talked to her more and she agreed to give me a partial refund of 12.50. Later that day, she called me back and her manager has vetoed her decision. The credibility of this shop and products are highly questionable.
Worse yet, Amazon refused to post my review. This is the 2nd time Amazon refused without any VALID reasons. In the future, I won't buy any live plants from Amazon because if the seller doesn't honor their quality of products, there is no way you can get the fact review through Amazon. Also, in Amazon website, Josh's Frog has five stars, if you checked other website review, it only has three stars with many negative reviews. So always check the seller from other review sites before you buy.
Quality has gone down and terrible service
I had previously received some quality items but one shipment had plants that died very quickly, "giant" mealworms that were actually 1/4 inch regular mealworms, and fly larvae that were almost all dead on arrival. When I requested credit on my next order, they said that it had been too long even though I had date-stamped pictures of what they had sent, and I had spent $100s on previous orders. Extremely disappointing customer service and I will not order again from them.
Crickets infested with ants and not correct size, items not shipped
My order of 1/2 inch crickets were barely larger than pinheads. My son worked hours on creating a habitat for crickets only to be devastated when immediately upon delivery emptying the ant infested box of crickets into the new habitat thereby infesting said new habitat with ants. "Customer Service" will not correct the problem without my sending pictures (because I'm lying?) despite my already informing them that I am out of town and not able to do so. 1st and last order. Also the other items ordered have not even shipped yet.
