Quickly seen too, very professional and thorough all the guided injections in my wrist and foot have worked a treat , highly recommend joint care clinic

This review covers two visits to see Ram. Both visits concerned osteoarthritis knee problems. In 2022 was my right knee,the more recent my left knee.
I saw Ram because of the delays in trying to see my GP and get treatment.
In 2022 saw Ram within days and after a consultation and examination had a steroid injection. No discomfort or pain since! Good result.
Unfortunately my left knee started to cause me problems. I contacted Ram and got an appointment a week later in Birmingham.
Once again excellent service. This time I had a cocktail of steroid & hydraulonic acid. Again the whole procedure was painless.
So far both knees are totally pain free.
Would recommend Ram to anyone with similar issues. Yes this service comes at a reasonable cost but to be pain free quickly ,it's worth it!

Hi Doc yes you were right after the injections the first 24 hours makes you feel euphoric full of energy.
After that I felt normal again been in
Spain for a few days on holiday
monitoring the improvement in pain difference and yes there is a big improvement. Still not not totally free
Pain but can cope with this amount.
will see if it improves any more as the days go by I consider the procedure a success. Will keep you updated on any more improvement.

Met Ram at the Milton Keynes clinic, informed him of my issue with my ankle. Thorough examination and scan and discussed treatment options. Had treatment which was relatively painless and now I am able to walk without pain. I have the scan results, letter and proper diagnosis and treatment. Something which I was still waiting for since last year and struggling to walk with the NHS I'm afraid. Worth every penny. Thank you so much. Highly recommend

I visited rami at the clinic in Newcastle 2 weeks ago to get some Hyaluronic acid injections into both of my knees as I’m am waiting for a full knee replacement surgery and after getting nowhere with the nhs pain clinic and physio departments I heard of these injections and was willing to try anything as my knee pain was having a detrimental impact on my every day life and mental health and I can honestly say I’m absolutely amazed at the results of the injections I am no longer waiking in the night with pain and my mobility has improved massively rami is very professional at what he does he goes the procedure step by step and I personally never even felt the needle go in I am more than happy In fact ecstatic at the results and would 100% recommend rami and these injections if you have osteoarthritis and need pain relief and I will certainly be using rami again 😁

Ramakrishna managed to squeeze me in at very short notice following a few months of unsuccessful physio on my shoulder. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything thoroughly & clearly so I was aware of what the issue was, what I needed to do to get better & how to manage it in the short term. He quickly sent me a very detailed letter & proposal to refer me to a specialist for surgery. All within 48 hours of me getting in touch with him. Hugely professional service & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend joint care clinics to anyone.

After waiting over two months with still no NHS appointment, I booked to see Dr Ram for a consultation and ultrasound for my shoulder. I was seen really quickly and after discussing my problems given an ultrasound. Everything was explained to me during and after the process and the report and images emailed to me before I had even got home! The price
was very reasonable too. Would highly recommend.

After suffering with a frozen shoulder for some months I consulted Ram in his Newcastle clinic.
He was friendly, professional and throughly explained what the issue was and the treatment required. I was able to be treated on the same day as the consultation, avoiding long waiting times. Although the treatment was uncomfortable, Ram was patient, kind and did not rush the procedure.
The shoulder was pain free after 24 hours and mobility has improved greatly and will continue to do so.
I would happily recommend Ram, I just wish that I had sort his help sooner.

Very professional, explained everything as he proceeded with the diagnosis, very happy with the whole experience.

I had suffered with a shoulder injury for 8/9 months - I'd seen five NHS physiotherapists, I'd also paid for a private steroid injection after 4 months which didn't work. I then saw a private physiotherapist who suggested I saw an osteopath (couldn't afford that) or Hydrodilation.

I Googled the procedure and Joint Care Clinics came up. After some research I contacted them and spoke to Dr Ram. He invited me to his Rugby clinic the following week!

At the appointment Dr Ram was very professional and quickly put me at my ease. He did a comprehensive ultrasound scan, then took his time explaining the three problems in my shoulder, he explained why I was in so much pain, the procedures he would like to do and the costs, there was no pressure to have anything done.

I decided to have another steroid injection in my AC joint and Hydrodilation. This procedure was a strange experience, it was uncomfortable but not painful. Within 5-7 days I was pain free! Dr Ram explained I wouldn't feel the full effects of the Hydrodilation for 4-6 weeks, hence the delay in me writing this review.

Four weeks on, I'm still pain free and I can raise my arm nearly as high as my other arm (previously I couldn't raise it above shoulder level!) The injection and Hydrodilation combined cost less than the private steroid injection I'd had previously. This was the best Christmas present I could have asked for!
I would thoroughly recommend the Joint Care Clinics.

Having played professional sport from 1989-2008 I’ve amassed plenty of aches and pains after numerous operations. I’ve been around the world and seen some of the best Doctors and surgeons out there, and Dr Ram has been right up there with his care and skill. Never in a rush, he’s kind, compassionate and very professional. Not only helped me with knee and shoulder pain, he’s also treated my wife for elbow pain. My son is now going to see him as he’s seen a difference in how his parents are moving.

Visiting Ram for the second time to diagnose my foot problem and he was spot on in finding the key causes and guided me the way forward. He clearly explained the pros and cons of the treatment and swiftly turned around the report. Great service at affordable prices.

I seem to have hit an age where I am getting injuries that do not resolve, which both compromises my pursuit of long distance triathlons and can cause day to day pain. But Ram has helped me overcome my injuries. I have now had three procedures with Ram (knee, hand and shoulder), and as a doctor myself I appreciate his approach and would refer to him without hesitation. His professionalism and passion for his work is immediately apparent, and this translates into a thorough assessment of the presenting issue, and a trust that if there is something to be diagnosed he will do so, as well as offer good advice as to how then to proceed. On this, of my three consultations with Ram, he identified clearly on ultrasound a tendonitis in my hand that I had acquired from swimming, which resolved after one steroid injection (over 1 year now without recurrence); was able to reassure me that on ultrasound there was no obvious major injury to my shoulder such as a tendon tear, but offered me what was an immediately effective steroid injection to the area that he thought clinically would be most appropriate given my impingement syndrome; and similarly with my knee he did not claim to have identified anything remarkable on ultrasound, and gave advice accordingly. Though I hope not to have to need Ram’s services, it is reassuring to know that I can go to him if needed.

After suffering severe pain in both shoulders for months on the NHS waiting list.I visited Ramakkrishna Rachaputi who diagnosed my problem to be Rotator cuff tears in both shoulders.After painless guided cortisone injections , l am now pain free and very happy.I can't recomend 'Ram' and the clinic highly enough.

I have seen Ramakrishna (Ram) twice and he has been fantastically professional, friendly, thorough and knowledgable in diagnosing my issues. Through the use of ultrasound and other tests, he identified my IT band issue and recommended paths to fix the issue, suggesting IT band stretches this time. I cannot recommend this clinic enough and I thoroughly encourage anyone with issues to make it their first port of call. 10/10

I would like to whole heartedly thank Ram. I had been waiting well over 8 months with the NHS to sort out my shoulder problem, to no avail. So looked for a private consultation with Ram at the joint care clinic. After my consultation and an ultrasound which diagnosed arthritis and bursitis, I received steroid injections. I have had steroid injections in the past which I found uncomfortable, but under Ram's expert hands these were not at all painful . One very happy lady.
