Custom software development has become increasingly competitive over the years. AI tools and global developers have made it harder to differentiate, and we’d already been through countless agencies promising simple solutions.

JMarketing was the first to approach it through B2B buyer psychology rather than tactics.

Josh worked closely with us over the past four years, not just on a full website rebuild but on our sales pitch itself. We developed what we now call the “Green Print” – a paid scoping framework that positions us in the box seat before formal development quotes even begin. That alone was a game changer.

We’ve sold to multiple large organisations, including government, in first meetings. We’ve achieved record sell-through and reduced our sales cycle significantly. The website also consistently gets us shortlisted because it clearly explains what we do and removes friction in a complex decision process.

What stands out most is that everything is tied back to ROI. If something won’t drive return, we don’t do it.

Empowered by the JMarketing Approach to Lead Generation

The exhibition industry has not seen meaningful innovation for many years, yet competition continues to intensify. When we began working with JMarketing, we were operating multiple independent websites for our various shows. Each functioned in isolation, diluting both authority and impact.

Consolidating everything into one unified domain was a confronting decision. However, it has proven transformational.

Following the merge, organic traffic increased from approximately 1,216 monthly visits across our domains to more than 12,050, representing 891% growth . Our main platform grew from 197 to 11,542 monthly visits .

Importantly, this was not just a technical exercise. Josh worked extensively with us on copywriting and strategic positioning. We redesigned our “influence cycle”, moving beyond simply selling exhibition space and instead positioning our clients as thought leaders before, during and after events.

The result has been a stronger brand, clearer communication and sustained growth. JMarketing has become an integral strategic partner to our business.

Messaging clarified and communicated

Launching a new SaaS technology in the fitness industry is not easy. Our product is innovative, but that also makes it difficult for gyms and trainers to immediately understand and trust it.

Before JMarketing, we were attending exhibitions and building relationships, yet struggling to get pilot programmes off the ground. There simply wasn’t enough clarity or confidence in how we communicated the value.

Working with Josh and Martyn changed that completely.

They rebuilt our entire website, redesigned our messaging, improved our video storytelling and created supporting materials including posters and a media pack. Josh has a rare ability to simplify complex ideas without losing impact.

Since launching the new site, we’ve seen lower bounce rates, higher engagement and, most importantly, a huge increase in meeting-to-sale conversion. We’ve landed both national and global pilots shortly after the rebuild.
