Have had some good experiences and some bad in the past but the realtime information on the site can not be trusted as it's usually incorrect.
I booked a trip for St. Patrick's Day (I booked it on 16/03) and the times seemed okay but on 17/03, I went to the stop and the bus never arrived so I checked to find that the timetable had been altered since at least 15/03 but I was still able to purchase the ticket on 16/03 and after emailing support, I was told that anyone who booked for 17/03 received an email informing them of this change but as I booked my ticket on the 16th, I imagine that email went out prior to that date and I never received it. I booked another ticket for a time that was available and asked to refund my original ticket to no avail- seems rather unreasonable to me.

15 minutes late is not good for an airport bus. Driver had little English. Bus needs to be cleaned from time to time. Won't use again.

I found the bus services is very good, I go from Nenagh to Dublin Airport and visa-versa. The bus drivers are very nice and helpful, so I have no complaints their service.
If it wasn't for JJ Kavanagh & Sons we wouldn't have a direct service.

Buses often missing timetable or stops. Customer care never helps

So, unfortunately (for me) I’m back with MORE JJK ‘rubbish service’ news.
Yes, this morning I arrived at Naas P.O. for bus to Maynooth Uni, got there @ 7:40, 2nd in the queue, return tickets booked last night. What could go wrong, right?
Bus arrived (almost on time) bunch of mannerless tools forced their way ahead of 3 of us and… bus full, no seats (reminder: I HAD booked, and thus paid for, my seat).
Driver, who like most JJK drivers is a ‘stranger’ to conversational English, said ‘busfull’, nothing else. I had to squeeze further info out of him, “dunno, nother bus 10 minutes”. I and my 2 fellow students waited 30 minutes, nothing, no bus.
So, once again and like others on here, ‘thanks for (literally) nothing Kavanagh’s, lectures missed, money taken, capitalism is alive and still flourishing in grubby old Ireland.
A thoroughly crap service - avoid (if you can) folks.

The local service has a lot to be disered the service from ballygunner to sliveure don't show up like 2 night the bus is running late so it turned around in town never picked up at view mount so I have to waite in the rain what a shocking service need to.be looked at big time it's going on with a while

Dreadful horrible service,I went to the bus station 3 minutes earlier than arrival time at 7:35 in portarlington,the bus arrived over 5 minutes before it’s arrival time and took off.I have an exam today aswell.I’ll be taking the train from now on.

Left an item on the bus recently. The subsequent customer service experience to get it back was excellent, from the bus driver who found it, to Anna in Customer Service. It was then arranged by Gaby in the depot to put it on a bus and I collected it yesterday. Great service from all.

Worst customer service ever, would not recommend. Greedy. No refunds given on e-tickets unlike Bus Eireann, I will be staying with them in future.

Going from Dublin to Tramore. The bus directly doesn’t appear. No one to claim to. No one to explain. Incredible they are still operating

My son prebooked a ticket for one of their buses, driver closed the door said he was full while my son holding the ticket he paid for, driver drove off, leaving my son stranded for an hour, customer service nonexistent, JJ Kavanagh fb messenger asked me to send over email over ticket, 2 weeks ago no response, disgraceful customer service!!

On Sunday 2nd October I left my laptop on the Airport to Clonmel coach. I did not realise my mistake until Monday morning when I immediately went to the Clonmel start-stop and had conversations with two very sympathetic and helpful coach drivers, They spent time looking for the phone without success and eventually gave me the phone number of the Waterford office. I got in touch with a very helpful lady named Anna. The laptop was not located until some days later despite Anna's phone calls. It was great to get the "I found it" message. She then organised collection of the laptop and delivery to Dublin Airport where I was reunited with it.
I have always found the JJKavanagh staff helpful and the coaches clean, comfortable and punctual.

Our special needs son travels from Roscrea to Nenagh daily on bus. Couple weeks ago he left his travel pass on bus and he got very upset. I rang customer service and the lovely Anna tracked it down for him. Donal at depot called me and had it delivered next day by bus driver (I think it was Mossie). Great service thank you all….we have a happy chappie again.

One star for the driver Sean,not for the Company!I had the journey from Nenagh at 7.45 and the bus supposed to be at 10.30 at Dublin Airport. Just 60km to Dublin were left and the full bus with passengers stuck in a awful traffic for 5h.Sean the driver constantly got off from bus and walked away leaving big gaps between bus and other cars and the other transports were getting from the other line ahead of us.i missed my flight from 12 and even some people from 14.30 and some passengers asked him to try to get to some exit and he was very calm,perhaps lost,very unprofessional.He said nobody answered the phone from office and he couldn't make any decisions.Finally arrived at Red Cow and we spent another 30min and we asked to get immediately to the airport and we got into next bus.Anyway I didn't have any flights so eventually i got to different city so because of this my husband had to drive on that day 1000km to collect me from Milan, instead of initial flight which was only 80km.This driver should not work for your Company,he is ruining the reputation and he is not able to deal and provide customers service.

I left my phone on the Dublin Airport to Waterford coach on the 14 Sep past. Very clever! Reported this to Kavanagh's lost property office and although no phone reportedly found, I received messages hinting I remain hopeful. Now 10 days later, having more or less given up on retrieving my phone, I took possession of it in the Kavanagh depot in Waterford. Thank you the depot cleaning staff, thank you Anna, thank you Gabi. From today, my family in Dublin and West Cork are Kavanagh people!

Bus should be on the bus station Granstown park waterford at 3:33 now its 16:15 still didn't come

The Bus never arrived. Had booked a Return bus from Limerick to the Ploughing Championships. The bus never arrived for pickup in Limerick. Lots of people there waiting for the bus - no bus arrived. It seems they cancelled it because they didnt get enough passengers. No mention of this requirement on the ticket or on their website.

Student fare Carlow to Waterford return: Student Commuting Complications.
A group of SETU students, many prepaid for the week, commuting to college each day, twice a day to Waterford return, left behind as their 5:40 bus failed to arrive at 5:40 at the Quays bus stop, only to arrive some 30+ minutes later, and moreover, when the late bus arrived, failed to stop where the buses stop, instead, stopped in the open road, but only did so long enough to have the group yelling to hail the bus down, but, not long enough to board anyone waiting! As quick as he stopped, he drove off leaving them all! Most will have no other lift home to Carlow town. Next bus is at 7.
Disgraceful.

What a brilliant company with amazing staff! I used the coach to travel from Dublin airport to Kilkenny and back. The price was very reasonable and the journey was great. I missed my initial coach as my incoming flight was delayed. They allowed me to transfer to the next coach with no problems. After disembarking the coach in Kilkenny, I realised I had left my suitcase in the stowage of the coach. I made a phone call and spoke with the Lovely Anna. She was so helpful and promised to ensure that she would look into finding it and returning it to me somehow. Anna certainly delivered and within 10 minutes she had located my suitcase and was buy arranging for it to be returned to me on a coach that was heading back in my direction. I cannot thank Anna and JJ Kavanagh enough, they were superb. Thanks again

The happiest I’ve ever been giving back a review to any company 😁 I usually do not bother but the earlier hours of the 25th August I took the bus to the airport due to me being careless I walked out of the bus not knowing I left my brand new AirPods which was gifted to me for my graduation.

Immediately I emailed the company from their website & also emailed them directly through email & behold a lady called Anna got back to me within hours.

She arranged to contact the bus driver severally but due to him working at the time it wasn’t possible to reach him. she notified me that she would keep me updated when the driver returns & would also mention it to the cleaners to keep an eye for my AirPods.

The following morning I got an email saying they had found my AirPods & I can come collect it when I return back to the country or get someone to call in.

A massive thank you to Anna & all the staffs involved genuinely appreciate it 😅👏🏾.
