To start off, I am honestly shocked by the amount of negative review Jet Pens has received through Trust Pilot. I have nothing but positive experiences buying stationary through Jet Pens for over 7 years. Shipping is standard, and every single item I have bought has been very securely packaged. Sure, they could definitely reduce their plastic packaging but the quality, shipping, prices and product images/reviews deserves 5 stars.

They are my first stop for pens and inks, of all kinds. Their customer service is incredible! The one time I had a problem with a pen, they offered me troubleshooting tips first, and when those didn't work, they happily took it back, with prepaid shipping, for inspection, repair or replacement. They have answered questions that I had on products often, and they do so quickly. There are no surprises when you order from them -- they show detailed specs and compatibility with accessories (for example, fountain pen converters) and offer a comparison feature. The website search function is reliable and accurate.

I received my order quicker than I thought my only complaint is their prices tend to be on the high side in a lot of instances and I went to buy a box of pencils and I could only buy them single. I should have bought then elsewhere because what they are selling them elsewhere I could get a box of 12 for 9 dollars where they were selling them for a $1.40 apiece. A Roting 600 ball point pen they are charging $36 and I bought one for $20 just recently off a different website why such a big mark up. Consumer beware sometimes shopping around is worth it I wish I could find a company that I don’t have to compare prices.I do recommend this company

Along with Levenger, JetPens is my go-to site for pens, paper, and their associated storage. I appreciate the many video reviews and tutorials, as well as loads of helpful photos and descriptions of products.
I order Frixion pens, calligraphy and fountain pens, calligraphy paper, and high-end writing paper several times per year. Each time, my order has arrived quickly, with items carefully packaged. They are also fairly quick to restock items (they often run out of Rhodia paper and Pilot Parallel ink cartridges, as these are popular!). The $35 free shipping threshhold practically guarantees I can easily buy enough to avoid shipping charges. After five years, I am still a happy customer.

I placed an order for a $200 on 11/23/2025 and found out today that it was canceled on 11/28/2025 with no specific reason. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift for my daughter. I’m very disappointed right now. I trusted this company’s service. I was wrong.

I am a stationery/pen/washi hobbyist. I discovered JetPens during the Pandemic and have been a steady customer ever since. The planner, pens and washi variety can’t be beat. Detailed description, tips and videos are very helpful. I also trust their packaging—pen refills, for example, are wrapped very carefully. I highly recommend this company!

I’ve been a returning customer for about 3 or 4 years now and I loveee their inventory. They have lots of great and unique products for mostly reasonable prices. I think the site itself is really easy to navigate and there’s more than just the products. I found (and still find) the articles really helpful, especially when learning and refreshing my memory on the paper types and sizes.

In my experience they ship within a week, and the stuff usually arrives from within 2-3 weeks. I don’t have a problem with this, I think that’s a reasonable amount of time. Packing is usually really secure and organized as to not waste space.
The one time I needed customer service was when I was having trouble with my markers. They responded timely and asked a series of questions, ultimately leading me to realize I wasn’t storing them properly and contact with water disrupted the flow. They told me what was wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. They even followed up to make sure my markers worked after storing them upside down for a while and testing them multiple times. Which they did.

Everything besides a mechanical pencil and a plastic multi pen have lasted for yearsss after I bought them. Obviously a plastic multi pen ain’t gonna last too long, but the other mechanical pencils I get from here put up with a lot of rough handling and drops from me. Only one experienced bad scratching once and then I dropped it at the wrong angle and broke something within it. They’re pretty sturdy though overall, even the hard plastic ones, but especially the metal ones.

I believe this site is great and every experience I’ve had with their products has been positive unless I messed it up somehow. Highly recommended.

I bought a color bundle and some refills for several of those colors. I absolutely loved th.e colors and how fine they were. Super excited to start using them. Unfortunately, only about half were reliable. I didn't use all the pens right away, but within 2 months, I started having problems with purple, light blue, and green. Later, it was orange. It continued. When I wrote to look for a solution,THis was their advice.
We'd be happy to send you a replacement pen, but could you try the following solutions first and let us know if they help?

Sometimes, poor ink flow can be caused by temperature differences during shipping. Please try exposing the tip to some heat from a blow dryer for about 8-10 seconds, scribbling intermittently. This can help to get the ink flowing again.

If that does not work, you can try leaving the lower half of the refill in some hot water (just below boiling) for 10-15 minutes to warm up the ink.

Again, if neither of these solutions works, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist you further. Thank you for your patience, and I apologize again for this issue!
Expecting a customer to go through all this trouble every time is not realistic.

I loved them when they worked. I love the variety of colors. However, I wouldn't want to repurchase the color bundle because not all of them were reliable.

This is a terrible vendor. I ordered a bottle of ink and it came broken open (glass) and emptied out all over the inside of the package. I sent them FOUR requests to send me another bottle and they never responded.

These people are aggressive and I’m scared to give too much information about my problems with them because I actually fear they will dox me or do something harmful with the data/info they already have on me as I was a customer. They have some good reviews, sure. I mean, there’s 8 billion people on the planet. But please do not ignore the bad reviews.
This company is run out of someone’s house. They live in CA and rent shoddy warehouse space in Texas. They resell used and returned items because they cannot afford not to. If you have an issue, they will blame you and not process your orders anymore. They in fact, will ignore you otherwise and leave you guessing what the heck just happened! They also will remove all bad reviews. There are no bad reviews on the site and that is just not possible. Many others have had their negative reviews removed as well. This is fraudulent.
Bottom line, unless you’re willing to take a hit for this company that banks on people not realizing the poor quality of their inventory and abhorrent customer service, go somewhere else. There are sooo many other options. This is just a reseller and the sooner they go out of business, the better for all consumers. We deserve better.

They have imported stationery from Japan! I cannot find a decent notebook with decent paper quality in the US. When I found out about JetPens, I spent over $100 just on Kokuyo notebooks alone and still have no regrets. The products are carefully packaged and usually arrived earlier than their estimates.

I recently purchased a collection of their notepads, and the experience has been nothing short of magical. The paper is soft yet durable, creating a luxurious feel that makes writing a pleasure. I find myself reaching for my notepad for everything—grocery lists, meeting notes, you name it! Their designs are aesthetically pleasing and bring a smile to my face every time I use them. The customer service team is also wonderful; they helped me with my order and ensured I received exactly what I wanted.

I received the wrong item… the only reason I spent money there was to order this particular pen. Their ordering system to choose individual colors isn’t user-friendly, but I know what I put in my cart because I matched the number. Looking at their reviews, I’m not the only one with the same issue. Customer service was condescending and unhelpful. I won’t buy from here again. I’d rather support a business who is kind.

I've purchased multiple items in multiple orders in the past year: each time everything was well-packed for safe mailing, every item was exactly as described and shown, ressonably priced, and items arrived in 5-7 business days. I plan to continue to support this business for my stationery needs.

A very nice range of products - not any better than many other sites - and the company demonstrates zero interest in reducing the amount of non-recyclable plastic packaging when shipping my orders. I've requested several times over the years to stop using yards and yards of plastic wrap, bubble pack and other non-recyclable plastic for packaging my order and their response continues to be: "we will pass along your concern". I will no longer purchase items from JetPens since I can shop with other pen companies that use recyclable materials to package their orders.

I have had ordered multiple orders from the time they opened their online store back in 2005. I was shopping for their gel pens, mechanical pencils and pencil cases. Their online shopping and website is extremely functional, easy to use but the products they sell is extremely addictive. So you got to make decisions based on what stationery, pouches and other products you like. In the US, it has a fast turnaround time. I live in the SF Bay area, so shipping is pretty fast like 1 day turnaround. The packaging of orders are neatly done and received multiple notes from their staff and do appreciate their positive feedback.
I am very glad they deleted limited edition and other products that are not sold because it is easier to navigate their website. I love how videos and guides keep you getting great stuff to see what you are expecting from a product on your next haul.
I will still be going to Jetpens for everything I need for office supplies and some school supplies.

They have everything you need and so much more, they ship very fast and internationally too.

I placed my ordered on December 27th and my order arrived today just a little before noon. Everything I ordered (10 items) was delivered and in perfect condition. Would recommend and 100% order from again!

Poor shipping practices, great website.

There is a ton of useful and educational content. It is a superbly organized website. Prices are reasonable. They opt to use the UPS shipping service that passes the package to USPS, where shipments end up taking as long as 10 days compared to their competitors.

They responded that it takes them 1-4 days to fulfill the orders due to the volume of orders they receive and then the shipping time. Wow. If that is true, their competitors could teach them a thing or two about fulfillment as their competitors manage to ship the order out in 24 hours (M-F).
