Richardson’s Jersey Royals are proudly grown on the island of Jersey by one of the island’s oldest farming families, with a heritage dating back to the early 1500s. Our potatoes are carefully hand picked and gently handled to protect their delicate skins, before being washed and packed using a unique system designed to preserve freshness and taste. From field to fork, every step is focused on delivering the authentic Jersey Royal experience that has made them so highly regarded. We grow all of our crops to LEAF Marque standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and soil health. Our use of liquid seaweed as part of our growing process supports both the land and the flavour and texture of our potatoes. Very quick delivery and by far the best…
Very quick delivery and by far the best tasting potatoes, only problem is that I eat more than my usual amount, still its good to spoil yourself once in a while. So pleased the payment is easier this year, I missed them last year when i couldn't pay.

Not Quite was Expected of Jersey Royals
Bought a 450g pack from Tesco. Looks like a pack of mis-shapes and all sizes not expected of, historically, the best in the potatos world. Another well known supermarket would describe these as their "wonky" collection. Nothing like the picture on the bag. Must say I'm not surprised that "Not for EU" is on the bag....if I were the grower/packer I'd be ashamed to send these abroad!
P.S. Post preparation. A small bag but still managed to have one bad one. Think I now know why the UK supplies are not for EU.....we're getting the seconds and the EU takes the best....same as fish!

From your comments, it appears your feedback relates to a 450g pack purchased from Tesco, rather than an order placed with us (Richardson’s Jersey Royals). We sell direct to customers in the UK via our own website, currently in 1kg bags, with our Royals packed and sent directly from our fields.
Nonetheless, we’re sorry to hear of your disappointment. You would of course be very welcome to place an order online directly with us and try our field fresh genuine Jersey Royals, delivered straight to your door.

Nice to have some Jersey Royals that nearly tasted like they were 30 years ago.I stopped buying them from Tesco because they were awful but yours are 90% what they used to be like.Expensive,yes,but worth it

Supermarket ones have had all the goodness washed off them

Richardson Jersey Royals are a family event…
Richardson Jersey Royals are an annual event in our family. The first possible purchase sees some heading to Hackney and Peckham (eldest daughter, youngest son) and to my wife and I here in Oxford. And then we keep ordering! They are just magnificent; the real thing. We grow four types of mint to go with them. Our middle children (in Washington DC and Melbourne) are envious beyond belief. Well done Doug and the team.

Good, clean and nicely sized Jersey Royal potatoes. It's a pity Evri ( ex Hermes) used as courier as they have a reputation of not being the most reliable. Still worthy of the 5 stars. Well and safely packed.

When Evri can actually find a day to deliver them then i can comment but they have been over a week in transit. If i was Richardsons i would find another courier because (N)evri are the worlds worst company to use to deliver perishable items.
