Richardson’s Jersey Royals are proudly grown on the island of Jersey by one of the island’s oldest farming families, with a heritage dating back to the early 1500s. Our potatoes are carefully hand picked and gently handled to protect their delicate skins, before being washed and packed using a unique system designed to preserve freshness and taste. From field to fork, every step is focused on delivering the authentic Jersey Royal experience that has made them so highly regarded. We grow all of our crops to LEAF Marque standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and soil health. Our use of liquid seaweed as part of our growing process supports both the land and the flavour and texture of our potatoes. Whether purchased locally or delivered directly to your door, Richardson’s Jersey Royals are a true taste of Jersey: fresh, distinctive, and produced with care at every stage.

As a Jersey Bean living in exile …
As a Jersey Bean living in exile in Hampshire, Richardson’s Jersey Royals have become a seasonal ‘go to’ all occasion gift for friends and relatives. Quality is first class, better than any market or supermarket purchase. Packaging and speed of delivery is excellent. Also buy them for ourselves - a little taste of home.

I have always loved Jersey Royals
I have always loved Jersey Royals and I am so glad that I can get them delivered. Although I live in Scotland and they have really good potatoes but the Jerseys are, as far as I am concerned are really superior to any other new ones. They are so fresh when I receive them and this
is my second year of buying them and will certainly be doing the same for years to come. Delivery was excellent and the quality superb. Will keep purchasing.

Traditional Royals
Our family is from Jersey but sadly we are not resident however it is a real pleasure to receive genuine flavoursome Royals grown on the cotils and nourished with vraic.
Royals not grown in the traditional manner are very different.

At Last! Received some "proper" Jersey Royal potatoes.
The bigger supermarkets have 'Royals' for sale but they have thick skins rather like the Cornish new potatoes, and certainly don't have the genuine taste.

Disappointing Customer Service
Having been a loyal customer of Richardson’s, I have been disappointed with my most recent order. Specifically, at the time of writing this review, my order, placed four days ago, has still not been delivered. I have emailed Richardson’s requesting the Evri tracking reference and am still awaiting a response which is particularly frustrating as I have, based on the quality of the potatoes previously delivered, recommended Richardson’s to friends and family. I appreciate there can occasionally be issues with deliveries but the lack of transparency and support is disappointing.

Hi Brian, firstly apologies for the delayed response - while we do all we can to respond as quickly as possible to issues there are times when that ability is constrained with the modest support capacity available. Rest assured we understand the frustration. As/when we receive notification via our system that a delivery has not been successful, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you, without a need for you to further facilitate on your end. If you still have not received your order, note that we shall log this and send out a replacement as soon as possible. I’ve been using Richardsons for the last few years, they maybe more expensive than the supermarket Jersey Royals but the price is worth it. The quality and taste are outstanding, how Jerseys used to taste! Great that you now get more for the same price! Delivery is quick once ordered, thoroughly recommended
