I ordered a new CHR from Jemca in July 2021. The Sales department were abysmal! When I eventually collected the car in November!!!, as there had been no communication from order to handover! I complained to their Regional Manager who promised me that I would be a VIP customer from now on and given £100 to spend in their Parts department. I agreed not to give them a poor CSI report, as I expected things to get better.
Fast forward three years and I can tell you that being a VIP customer was absolute nonsense. I never received any calls, letters, or emails inviting me to any events, no special 'VIP offers', in fact, nothing!
I have just received my new EV Renault Alpine Esprit from Watford Renault. I have no complaints at all!
What did they do differently? They kept in touch and updated me with the order progress! Not that difficult!
Jemca will never again feature in my choice of Dealerships again.
Put simply, avoid this Dealership, go to any other Toyota Dealership to save your time, effort and money. They do not care about customers!

I have been going to Bracknell Branch for many years (20+) and have bought together with my family many cars and received excellent help. Tried to MOT the car as it runs out tomorrow for its first one. Guess what, Toyota cannot do it for a month!!! Politely told I can keep the service plan MOT until next year! Additionally went in to enquire about a new car and had a new tyre kicking salesman who wasn't interested. (Real shame David Hunt retired)

I have purchased my cars from Jemca Reading for around 20 + years, second hand to begin with and new for over 16 years. I have also purchased an extended warranty and a service plan at the same time with them. The sales team have been very professional and helpful. They have always made me feel like a valued customer and, being a female, I
have always felt very comfortable in dealing with the team.

Unfortunately, post Covid, I felt let down by the service department. For two years, despite having the service plan, I ended up paying a local garage for the service and MOT as I was not informed in sufficient time that the MOT was due. Whilst I should have known about the renewal, surely part of the service, as was in the past, would have included a call in sufficient time or an email to the right email address. Furthermore, in previous years the Reading service department picked my car up from work (24.9 miles from their offices) and dropped it back when done. I had started a new role and taking time off was proving to be difficult. I requested they pick my car up from the new job which was less than 24.9 miles. Initially the service department informed me that they could not do this as I was further away. However, when I proved to them that I was not, I was informed that they could not pick up my car - change in policy. Why not say this in the first place? Despite reminding them that I had been a customer for 20+ years and was looking to purchase a new car shortly, the service department were unhelpful. Hence, I ended up paying a local garage for the service due.
Disheartened by the total lack of honest, professional service, I requested a refund refund on the outstanding service plan. Shockingly, the providers thought that two outstanding services and MOTs were only worth a £138!

I would have thought that loyalty would have counted for something. However, I am obviously sadly mistaken.

Selling cars may be a priority for the company but surely they need to think about after care as well.

By the way this incidence took place in April 23. I have dated it Feb 24 when a second lot of conversation took place with Toyota Jemca Reading Service Department.

I recommend avoiding this company after the absolute shambles they put us through.

We purchased a Toyota Auris from Jemca for £11,000. Over the first few months, the car ran fine with no issues. It then broke down during a drive to Cornwall, and we had to swerve across the dual carriageway on an uphill section to get into a layby.

The AA checked the car over, and they advised us that there was faulty operation in the ECU; this was fed back to Jemca. The car was then with Jemca for six weeks whilst they looked it over, and we were only informed of the results after chasing them up multiple times.

Despite the evidence from the AA, Jemca insisted that there was nothing wrong with the car, and that Diesel fuel was used. We were able to produce receipts which confirmed that petrol (the correct fuel) was indeed used, and Jemca then changed their line to “it must have been bad fuel.”

Jemca then offered to take the car back for £9,500, meaning that Jemca had essentially stolen £1,500 from us; they sold us a dodgy car, and profited from doing so. Despite us raising this, and that the depreciation would have only equated to slightly above £300 in six weeks (six weeks that, I may add, were entirely due to Jemca’s slow turnaround), Jemca would not budge.

The car was then put back on the market for the full price of £11,000.

Overall, I would strongly suggest avoiding this dishonest company. The manipulation and downright lies the manager gave us were wholly unacceptable.

We purchased a brand new car from Jemca Reading, we were looked after by a lovely lad called Finley. He was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. He answered or went to find out answers to all our questions promptly, then called and emailed us with answers. On one occasion he called us at 6:15 pm, so he must have stayed late to ring us.
He always had plenty of time for us. We didn’t feel like we were being rushed even when we kept coming up with more questions, he was very helpful, very patient, very polite and very professional, he did not fob us off. He dotted the i-s and crossed the t-s.
We found him to be very thorough, for example, not just telling us how to connect our phones, but actually doing it for us so that we could see how it was done.
We would certainly want to deal with Finley again and would highly recommend him to others. Thank you very much to all who prepared our brand new car for us, from the receptionist through salesmen all the way to the people doing the valeting service.

All the staff at the Jemca Service Centre, Edgware, are excellent and have been so helpful in sorting out various problems:
Tony Antoni (Manager) and Bradley Prangell (in the call centre) regarding a tyre problem a few months ago.
Also Wesley James at the Service Centre, who has gone out of his way to sort out a problem caused by an inaccuracy in my service plan. The receptionist Linda has also been extremely helpful and charming. I have always received excellent service from Jemca and would highly recommend them.

I have been a customer of Bracknell Toyota for more than 25 years and spent £63000 on cars there are to many problems to go into details here went to part exchange my car for a ex demo I was seen by a upstart sales BOY who thought he new everything after 10 minutes I walked out of dealer discusted how I was treated will not be going back started 20 June then4 days later and again today

I was booked in to see a vehicle on Saturday, but later received a phone call to say that I need to pay a deposit over the phone to reserve the vehicle. Why? Why do I need to pay a deposit? Does not make sense. Money robbing thieves.

Just awful. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of their sales staff come through a day release work program. I’ve experienced better customer service at a McDonald’s restaurant. If this was the calibre of ppl in charge of making Toyota cars it wouldn’t be the number one car manufacturer in the world, that’s for certain.

My car was booked to have its anti-theft plates fitted, due to a lapse they had forgot to inform me that the part had not come into stock, they compensated by having my car washed and valeted. I was served by Kim, who did an excellent job!

Jemca Toyota Sidcup!
My headlights kept blowing and jemca investigated this when the car was in for service. They told me nothing is wrong and bulbs go (not this frequently). I think it’s because I’m a woman they said this. They also charged me £50 to replace 2 bulbs, disgusting.

I went to Halfords after changing another 10 bulbs and the lovely man at Halfords found a lose wire near the connection in 3 minutes. All sorted so easily.

I called Jemca Toyota at Sidcup and told the service manager about this, he was so uncaring. I asked for a refund and nothing as yet 2 weeks late.

BUYER BEWARE OF JEMCA TOYOTA SIDCUP!!

On the morning of Saturday 23rd March 2024 I visited my Toyota dealer Jemca in Bracknell to order a part for our Toyota Corolla. Gulnawaz Ashraf from their Parts Dept was extremely helpful and friendly and said the part should be in by Tuesday 26th March. Soon after 9am on the 26th I received a call from Gulnawaz to say the part was in, so I arranged to go and collect said part around mid-morning. On arrival, Gulnawaz promptly fitted the replacement part for me.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish, and I would just like to say a personal "Thank you" to Gulnawaz for all his help in the matter.

Was looking to purchase a hybrid corolla from Jemca in Reading, for some reason - I opted to look at the Google reviews for this dealership before proceeding, was deeply disappointed to note some of the customers' experiences, I decided to look at the Bracknell dealership instead - I was definitely out of the frying pan into the fire as the Google reviews for Bracknell were at another level of unfit for purpose examples. I will look at another brand instead of Toyota (or move house if I proceed with the purchase of Toyota so I am no longer in the Jemca catchment area). If this was my business, I would have sacked all management team members in both sites.

I recently purchased a car from Jemca in Edgware Road, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Roya was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in. Roya took the time to understand my needs and preferences and helped me choose the right finance option that suits my budget.
The entire transaction was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to Roya's attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction.

I serviced my car in Jemca Toyota Sidcup on 26th Jan. After service the car had a slow acceleration issue for which when I talked to the team I was told of £150 charge to investigate the issue (if it turns out not under warranty). And on top of that, I was given a date after 1 month. Shouldn't faults created when servicing be attended to immediately?

So bad its hilarious really!!! Bought a used car from the guys in Edgware Road- went to collect it as arranged , after paying for it , only to find they couldnt find the documents . One month later , still no car no documents, no returned calls or e mails. If it wasnt Toyota , I would say its a scam . Being Toyota , its just an embarrassing fiasco of total incompetence and zero customer service- go somewhere else if youre looking to buy a car !!!

I’m so satisfied with the service I have received from Toyota Jemca on Edgware Road. The customer care was excellent and I’m very happy with my new car.
