Avoid not fit purpose

Dont use this company.

Parents ordered a hoover never arrived (evri there prefered delivery specialised) ...... shock horror it didnt arrived. JD Williams staff had the cheek to accuse my parents of stealing this item.

A response to this matter from Jd Williams although they several marketing emails asking how the product is...

Waste of time ! Cant belive what im reading going through the emails back and fourth.

Surely it's against the law

I got the debt relief order on this company but as it's taking them too long to even want to accept the debt relief order they have put nearly 200.00 interest charges on my account I thought this wasn't allowed to happen if you had a breathing space from a debt advisor and they were informed this was going through a debt relief order, but this company seemed to think that they are entitled to put the interest on when I don't think this is true. After contacting them they are refusing to accept. They are in the wrong but I know they are once a breathing space has been added to your account. You cannot add interest to it but this company seem to think they can and they have. I'm going after seek further legal advice to sort this out so be careful people. If you are struggling in the same situation, make sure this company doesn't rip you off like it has me.

This Company are a nightmare to deal…

This Company are a nightmare to deal with! I have called 3 times regarding returns that were showing as purchased items , it is not easy to see their latest statement. Check the credit charge, I was overcharged , it should have been £3.43. but was £20.16, they apologised and said it was an error, and refunded, I would normally just pay, I am glad I checked"

Very unhappy with the way I have been…

Very unhappy with the way I have been dealt with as ordered a watch and it has still not been delivered I was promised by a senior advisor that if it’s not been sorted in 2 days I will get a replacement and I am still waiting every time I call they don’t have managers around this is not a way to treat customers my email address is rukhsana motara I have contacted the consumer law and have been advised that if my parcel has not been delivered within the time frame given which was next day delivery I am eligible for a replacement or refund I am not happy at all I know it's Evri who is not delivering but as a big company JD Williams should have direct contact with Evri to sort this matter out in urgency

When your account shows ACCESS DENIED

From about Friday of last week I have been unable to access my account due to an ACCESS DENIED message across it

I have complained to JDW but all they come up with was a difficulty making a payment reply

To say I have waited 20mins for their so called customer service to answer the phone and if I try to send a message all it does is go round in circles after you have filled in why you want to contact them

Which then leads to one line chat which again goes round in circles without any link appearing

A pointless 2hour exercise in trying to contact JDW who no doubt start sending payment reminders texts and messages soon

JD Williams I am already in Communication with You

JD Williams thank you for your standard Trust Pilot response giving your email address as a point of contact. Clearly, like many other of your responses to Trust Pilot reviews you cant be reading them as most negative reviews are about JD Williams poor responses. I am already in communication with you. Unfortunatly, I cant phone you as your telephone number is one which requires I pay extra to use. So many hidden charges with this company.

Further to my review yesterday I…

Further to my review yesterday I received a reply from JD Williams quoting terms and conditions. However I still maintain it is misleading and I will definitely not consider buying from them, including the order placed which will be returned.
I will not be trading with a company who misrepresent their offers in an effort to entice people to buy from them.

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague. Apparently things have gone awfully wrong with all N Brown Group companies as of lately. Since Steve Johnson became CEO it has gotten worse. I think the last CEO stepped down because she was smart to get out while she can.

After a long fiasco with a Simply Be order that went wrong, now the same exact repeat has happened with Jd Williams. Its the usual racket. I place an order. Pay for it with my store card. The order sets there "processing". One day. Two days. Three days. Four days....nothing. So, I contact customer service. I get the usual "I am sorry....." routine. Then I am told the order got stuck in the computer system. So it would need to be cancelled first. The funds sent back to the card. Then order placed again. The reason they keep doing this is because of the ole "Bait and Switch" routine where they don't have the items you ordered. SO when you place the order again, the items wont be in stock on the website. It has happened to me. They then have an excuse. This is the reason why they wont manually go in and fix an order for you. Because they don't have your merchandise in stock!! I have seen items vanish while browsing the website. What a crappy company!

The worst part is the lying. I hate liars. I have gotten lied to numerous times from customer service. Only to have the CEO department contradict them. And then turn around and let me down anyway. None of them will be straight up with you about their stock and service problems. Don't look at the stars on Google results. Go to review websites and read the bad reviews. It is enough to tell you that the positive ones are FAKE.I worked in this line of business. And we never told customers with fouled up orders that they had to do a reorder. NEVER. That's the kiss of death with building a business. You go in and compile the items list and reach out to the warehouse to get things going PERSONALLY. The only reason why this would not happen is if there was no stock to send. And I think THAT is what plagues N Brown Group. And they aren't being honest about it. Do us all a favor and let Steve Johnson know WE KNOW THE TRUTH. If we're wrong, he will do something about it if he cares to. His puppets in the CEO office and the reps will do nothing. They are the "can do nothing" bots that have helped build a negative customer base.

I have filed with the BBB, left numerous bad reviews. And I am not done yet.

Okay, payment service is horrible

Everything is okay, until you have to call them about a payment. Being recently unemployed they don't cut you a break. Constant calls and letters for payments. Had to change my phone number and not going to update my account information
