Brought tyres from the Albury store last year and had the tyres filled with nitro gas. Then last week I booked my car in for a service, telling them that I would be suppling my own oil, as I prefer a particular brand of oil. Castrol Edge. When I arrived to drop the car off, the owner told me that a new law was about to come in which would prohibit me from suppling my own parts. I hadn't mentioned any discount at all as it is fixed price servicing . I dropped the car off but when I arrived to pick it up I queried the so called law and asked to see the paper that he'd been waving around. It was then he admitted that it was only a suggestion, but if I wanted my car serviced in future I'd have to comply or he'd refuse to service my car. Saying that "I had to get with the times"! He then charged me $60 less than the expected price. I would have expected a discount of $15-$20 as that would have been fair. Since I hadn't requested it I still accepted it as there were others waiting to be served. There was no written report as they state on their website. Just customer provided own parts. I don't like being dictated to, so that's the last they'll see of me. I have no idea what his problem is but I hope that he gets over it soon. Heard back from the store today. He still won't service my car if I provide my own oil. That's the same as using a non dealer to service my car. Like him. Goodbye JAX im sorry that I will no longer be dealing with you.

Also very disappointed. My wife and son (P-Plater) went in for some $110.00 "if you buy 4" and they came home with an invoice for $496!
But we apparently have nitrogen in the tyres and got charged for every sundry known: fitting, balancing, tubeless valves, waste tyre change.
Thanks Jax - take advantage and we don't come back.

Very disappointed.
I needed new tyres to obtain a RWC and I specifically requested the team at Jax Preston to check my brakes this Monday. I was told the brakes were fine, but I needed a brake fluid flush - which I agreed to. I paid over $1,100 for tyres, a service, brake fluid flush, new battery and wiper blades. At the time I was happy to pay the money if it meant my car would be deemed roadworthy.
Today (Thursday) I presented my vehicle at a registered RWC inspection site and was advised I needed new brake pads and the discs needed machining. So I had to pay another $800 for something that you should have picked up.
I lost my job due to COVID19 and lost my company car. I needed to have our second car changed from SA registration to VIC so my poor wife can stop going to the supermarket by bus.
Your inability to detect something simple as brake pads and discs has cost me more money, more time and more days without a car. After your people inspected my car, I booked my appointment with VICRoads, which I obviously had to cancel.
This is not acceptable.
For the record, I'm not some whining 20 year old that knows nothing about car mechanics - I'm early 50's and used to work on my own cars back when cars had carburetors.
You have cost me time and money, not to mention unnecessary stress which I did not need in my current circumstance.
The real question is what will you do to rectify this?

I had to replace one tyre on my new 2020 X-Trail due to a puncture and did the ring around to gauge tyre prices. Steve at Toowoomba Jax quoted a very competitive price and even apologized that the OEM tyres are particularly expensive. Steve had to order a replacement from Brisbane but he had the new tyre back on the car the following day. Only had to put up with the noisy little space saver tyre for 24 hours.

Service was fantastic during the corona virus especially . They picked up my car and dropped it back to my house . Prices are great and my car is running amazing . Definitely would recommend them .

I post this review with no ulterior motive. The customer experience that we received at the Jax Tyres Windsor branch has been the most disgraceful and unprofessional conduct that I have ever experienced. This is my 1st review post of a business and I feel compelled to express my extreme disappointment on how we have been treated by the branch both from the 1st interaction of the issue and during their internal investigation of the incident. I thank JAX Head Office for their time but unfortunately the Windsor branch actions through this period reinforces their unprofessionalism, outright arrogance and treating people with contempt. Extremely disappointing conduct.

Whilst my serious concerns were listen to, it is impossible for a proper investigation to take place when the Jax Tyres Windsor branch continued to provide false statements and continually changed their version of the event. The fact is how can a vehicle from leaving the store and within 1km be undriveable. The answer is being very unprofessional, being outright arrogant and treating people with contempt.

You can’t make this up. Bizarre is best word to describe it. My wheel was stolen not by the store but it started the story. I just wanted a wheel that exactly matched the others. Simple request. I had to pay up front otherwise the wheel wouldn’t be order and it would take six weeks . The wheel arrived early but this is where the story takes a negative twist. It didn’t match and didn’t have centre wheel. The store didn’t think this was a problem. I said it doesn’t match and it doesn’t come with the centre wheel. They seem to think that was the finish. I asked for the centre wheel and instead of six weeks they said they could get that in 24 hours but I have pay another $50. They’d been lying from the start. My car didn’t fit there profile it seems and so they didn’t want to help. No admission of wrongdoing. No care to keep a customer. When they make error the customer has to correct this.

Terrible customer experience at the Caulfield store. From the moment I walked in the door until the time I collected the tyre, I was extremely unimpressed with the lack of anything resembling good customer service. The store didn't call me, as they told me they would, when the tyre had been fixed, but luckily after waiting for 2 hours, I decided to walk in and ask how much longer it would be. I was told by the staff the tyre had been done over an hour ago however there was no apology or explanation as to why they didn't call me to tell it was finished. Staff were then annoyed at me for wanting to pay by card seeing as they had closed off the machine for the day. Avoid this store because they are beyond the realm of rude.

I was calling around for quotes and the West Gosford store were extremely helpful. He explained the tyres I was purchasing were also on his daughter's car which gave piece of mind as I have four children in the car. The tyres were fitted within an hour and also filled with nitrogen and a wheel alignment. Other stores had quoted higher prices for tyres and also charged disposal and fitting fees. The staff were very helpful and friendly when we got there and when we left.

Will not be taken my car back there again. Went in as I had a problem with my cvt transmission stepper motor. Was advised to replace the cvt transmission Waited over a week to get it back. Car is not right. Took it back and there put another cvt transmission as didn't rectify the problem. Now I have more problems. Its is going to cost me alot of money to fix the problem. DO NOT GO TO THEM. Will also be making a complant to your head office department.
