Japan Remotely helps people move to Japan while keeping their existing remote income. We specialize in the paths most relocation guides skip: the ones that let you immigrate to Japan while staying employed by a company abroad, often through an EOR in Japan (employer of record), or by structuring your situation so the income you already have keeps flowing once you arrive. Whatever your starting point, we help you find a realistic path. Our founder, Nick Woolsey, is an American in Fukuoka City with more than 20 years of experience living in Japan and JLPT N1 Japanese fluency, so the guidance is grounded in how Japan immigration actually works, not generic checklists. Fantastic experience with Japan Remotely

My experience with Japan Remotely has been overwhelmingly positive. Nick is very detailed in his approach and easy to work with. I had originally thought through my 'best approach', which likely would not have worked out well in the long run. Nick provided great perspective and has great lateral thinking skills which provided more options with a likely higher success rate than my narrow approach. At the end of the day Nick is looking for the best fit situation, not just the path of least resistance which I think is invaluable to making a significant move like uprooting and migrating internationally. He provided excellent support both before and after the move that was significantly helpful. I can't recommend Nick and the Japan Remotely team enough!
