Japan Rail Pass Now Anmeldelser 2 855

I purchased the JR pass and was unable to use it. In the terms and conditions, it says that if not used you can claim a refund.
I have been trying to contact Japan Rail Pass Now, (UK) by phone which you cannot speak to anyone. They direct you to mail them, which I have at least 4 time in the last 2 months and have not had a response. I have used this web site to ask for assistance and had no response.
The cost of my Rail Pass was US $900.00 so I won't be letting it go.

Since Hyperdia is no longer available in 2024 why is it included and so prominent on the Japan Rail Pass website?

Disappointed with misinformation in website. It clearly indicates one can phone number 1300635500 expecting to speak to someone. However, a long recording reverse the phone call to e-mail them. Another trick to keep data?
In doing so, one will be bombarded with advertising.

I bought the pass 3 weeks before travelling to Japan in May 23 and the orders arrived by Express Post 2 business days after my order. It worked perfectly in Japan. Please note, when you exchange the orders for the tickets in Japan I would recommend to do so in a not crowed station (I did it at Tokyo Station) as the line can be quite long.

Bad experiences in Japan

While I have great time visited Japan and love Japan so much I experienced a bad incident.

I bought JR Pass on the internet and exchanged to the JR local train ticket when arrived in Osaka airport.

At time I noticed I lost that ticket, so I immediately went to the Osaka JR ticket box for the help.
The office said they could not reissue a locak JR ticket as I already exchanged the ticket. Sadly I had to buy another ticket with double cost.

What I cannot understand is that the JR Pass is a special ticket for foreign visitor with serial no on it. Even exchanged to the local JR ticket it must have a record in JR system to track how the ticket used.

With that said I still hope Japan JR can refund me for the old lost JR Pass.

残念な経験

この度日本へ旅行しに行ってきました。素晴らしい日本を初めて体験しましたが、以外の不愉快な出来事もありました。
ネットでJR　Passを買い、大阪空港で日本のローカルJRチケットに変換された、後ほどこのチケットが失ったことに気づきました。
早速大阪のJRチケットの窓口に状況を説明したが、このチケットがすでにローカルに変換され再発行できずと答えてくれました。
非常に失望のあど、もう一度新しいチケットを買いました。
この件についてはとても不思議に思います。JR　Passが外国人観光客に特別に発行されるチケットで、シリアルナンバーも付いています。JRの窓口に変換してもれコートも必ずあって保存されるはずです。それで、そのチケットに使いルートが把握しているはず、お手数掛かると分かりますが、調べていれば状況がはっきり分かると思います。
最後、この残念の中で、JR日本が状況を調べて、返金をいただければ幸いです。

I highly recommend booking with these guys, I got my 7 day JR Rail Pass for $322 AUD - no hidden fees. Not only is this the cheapest rate I've found, but I nearly purchased through another company for a similar rate, but at the last minute realised they charged a $13 processing fee and a ridiculous $50+ delivery fee. These guys - no processing fee, and free express shipping, thank goodness I realised as not only cheaper but prefer to support a more transparent up-front company (albeit haven't actually recived my pass yet as just ordered, but the process to date has been great and assume receiving the pass will be the same).

Super easy, speedy and the helpdesk was very helpful. We will definitely use again.

We just ordered Japan rail passes for our trip in January.
The tickets came super fast and the process was really easy. They have so much detailed information on their website it was really helpful when trying to plan out our trip.

We used Japan Rail Pass Now recently to pre-book rail in Japan. We had been struggling to find a supplier outside Japan, in English, who could do this but wanted to pre-book (and pre-pay) to streamline our travel experience on the ground.

I ordered on the 28th of September and received the order on the 30th. I can't wait to go back to Japan now that the borders are back open.

Dont buy from these people. Prices are ~$100-150 higher than reputable agencies in Australia. They make out they are the "Official" JR Rail agents - they may be accredited but you can get what you need much cheaper elsewhere from JTB Travel.

I am very disappointed. When I purchased this railpass we were still able to travel. It was not a decision that I made freely to have to cancel my travel plans. So instead of charging us for cancellation, you should have looked at the government, as they took that decision out of our hands. I know other places gave 100% refund due to the situations - I myself would never deal through you again.
