Great approach to learning Japanese in a natural way!

The directions are clear; the approach is straightforward; the time commitment is minimal. I'm a newbie, 5 or 6 lessons in, but I feel the flow of relaxation and understanding and future potential already, after 1.5 hours of my work. The program is well organized and the teacher is articulate. I'm in. And enjoying the class and excited about my future speaking and understanding regular fast Japanese.

It just makes sense. Kids learn by listening not by learning to write first.

Beginning with listening has been very helpful! It had eased me into the language. It is a totally different approach than the other apps I have tried. I am just four days into the lessons. They are doable and encouraging.

For the first time in 3 years of studying Japanese, I am able to understand and speak simple phrases with confidence, in just 4 days.

The content is solid, but there are *many* pronunciation errors in the audio. For example: desu ka, a very common phrase which should sound like 'des ka', is often pronounced as 'deh suka'. This is super frustrating for someone who is just learning. I've emailed the team to let them know, but have not found any of the lessons fixed. In fact, the more I complete, the more errors I discover. Disappointed at the lack of quality control!

I have studied Japanese before but still cannot communicate at all. I bought a Blueprint course five days ago after reading about its concept of learning Japanese in a new way. The teaching materials are found well organised, easy to follow and in great details to guide learners along the path. It gives me confidence that after some time I can do much better than I did before. BTW, the customer service responds promptly to enquiries.

Just started but I already love it , there are now good chances that I will speak and understand Japanese in due time.

The lessons are broken down into small manageable chunks of time, makes it easier to commit to and complete the lessons. I have been happy with everything so far. The cost is lower than other sites i have been to.
You also receive daily emails that have a phrase with the meaning, a few examples on how it can be used and a break down of the words being used in the phrase which i think is a nice touch

I learned Japanese in Japan as a student in Yamanashi in the early 1980s and have been a high school Japanese teacher in Australia ever since, making numerous trips back to Japan. Now 'retired', I was asked to teach adult travellers who are going to Japan some 'basic' Japanese. I just didn't know where to start outside school programmes. I was looking for structure. This is just great.

I just started. So far I like the thoughtful and thorough explanation of the process. One neat thing I really like is the daily emails with the word/phrase of the day and how its used in daily conversation and how it was derived. So, so far so good. I think the course will be helpful on my journey to Japanese fluency!

I've only been using course material for a few days but have had emails every day to check how things are going and If they can help at all. Very refreshing to have such reactive people at the organisation.

So far- great. But only just getting into it

Japanese Blueprint works perfectly for my schedule. I am 3rd generation Canadian Japanese and never learned Japanese as a child. I am interested in connecting to my heritage and language.

I have tried other programs & didn't really get anywhere. I tried Japanese Blueprint & I'm remembering & speaking better in a month than I did with the other progams for 6 months.
