I purchased my property through Jackson Grundy and the experience was wonderful. My estate agent is Becky Toone and she is absolutely amazing. She was kind,polite and friendly and I felt at ease straight away.The property took longer than it should due to chain issues but Becky was so kind and sensitive throughout the whole process. She kept me updated on a regular basis so I knew how things were progressing. Becky, thank you so very much for all your assistance. I truly appreciated it.

Very disappointing experience with Northampton branch. I was already in the process of purchasing a property through this estate agent and had instructed solicitors to proceed with the transaction. Despite this, I was told that unless I participated in a competitive bidding process within three days, the property would be put up for rent.
As a buyer who had already invested time, money, and effort into the purchase process, I found this approach unprofessional and unnecessarily pressurising. The situation caused considerable uncertainty and undermined my confidence in the transaction. I would have expected clearer communication and a more transparent approach throughout the process.
Based on my experience, I would advise prospective buyers to proceed with caution. If you had already paid for searches, surveys, mortgage fees, or incurred other costs, mentioning that can make the review more impactful because it demonstrates the financial consequences of the agent's actions.

I decided to sell my house in February, and throughout the entire process, Chris, Becky and Olivia have been incredible. From start to finish, they looked after me and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward.
There were always in contact, keeping me updated on progress and providing reassurance whenever needed. Their communication was excellent, and I always felt informed and supported every step of the way.

Effective sales marketing generated plenty of viewings by genuine buyers. Helpful team kept me informed during the process. From start to end their service delivery was extremely good. Olivia at the Duston branch maintained communication between us, buyers and both set of solicitors. Olivia shared up to date information making the process less stressful. I would have given 5 stars BUT commission was agreed at a lower %, they tried to charge an higher % and did not in any way state that VAT would be added. This made a significant difference in our payment to them and lacked clarity on their part. However I would go with them again.

We can't thank the team at the Duston branch enough for their help with our sale and purchase. From Chris' valuation, right through to completion, the team worked tirelessly to get us over the line - especially Becky Toone. At one point, we thought the sale would never happen, due to various delays with our buyer, and we were worried that we would lose our purchase. Becky and the team worked in tandem with our solicitors to move the process forwards, including calling, e-mailing and chasing the buyer and his solicitors, and keeping us up to date every step of the way, until our eventual completion. We cannot thank them enough, especially Becky, for helping us to manage the stress, and for their excellent service and communication. Highly recommended! Thanks guys :)

The wonderful staff at JG, especially Steve, have never been anything but brilliant throughout the 2 years it has taken to sell my house. Despite many sales failing, a few on the day before completion, they have instantly secured new viewings. The have always been honest and fair, contactable at a times and personable throughout. In the midst of all the let downs, I have felt supported and respected, so that I can now celebrate the completion of a sale that could have been so much more stressful. I cannot express any more how grateful I am to their expertise and dedication.

Jackson Grundy was excellent, especially Becky Toone. We had an extremely risky chain where the deal could've fell through due to very tight deadlines for completion, but Becky was a force of nature doing everything she could from chasing the buyers/sellers up and down the chain as well as the solicitors . Without her it's very possible our move may have collapsed so I want to thank her very much for this

J&G has been in our local village for a long time it’s inevitable to experience them through buying or selling in the area. All the team at J&G Duston Becky, Chris & James are experienced and professional always took the time to help listen and be on hand to help us through, overall we had great experience with them and yes we would definitely recommend J&G in the future.

We went with Jackson and Grundy at Duston. We had an amazing agent Becky she kept us up to date with everything and went above and beyond when we were getting anxious, I would highly recommend her nothing was too much, and I want to thank her once again and now we're in our forever home

At every stage of selling the house, Jackson-Grundy staff have been very professional, helpful, friendly, considerate and generally just lovely to deal with. When a buyer pulled out at the last minute, they could not have worked harder at finding another and, after exchanging contracts this week, I had a phone call to make sure all was well. Could not recommend than more highly!

Avoid this agency at all costs. The way I was spoken to was rude, unprofessional, and completely dismissive of me as a customer. Instead of owning up to their behaviour and offering a simple apology, they sent lengthy responses trying to twist the situation to make out I was in the wrong.

Communication was inconsistent and confusing, and any time I raised a concern it felt like they were more interested in defending themselves than actually helping. It’s clear they don’t value their customers or know how to handle complaints properly.

The whole experience has been a complete waste of time and energy. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is professional, respectful, and customer-focused, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.

The manager Becky at Jackson Grundy deserves 10stars. Professional ,caring and supportive. Becky goes above and beyond to help,even outside of work hours. Thank you Chris for your amazing photos and James for looking after my property when showing prospective buyers. Thank you.
