The registry called me unsolicited to verify my request, and said there was a $3000 additional free for "premium domains". I submitted a support case about it a couple days ago and haven't heard anything about it. My card was charged but I still don't have a domain, and I think it's a little weird I'm getting calls directly from the registry and telling me about fees that weren't disclosed during my registration.

The system of keeping track of my own email name url works seamlessly and inexpensively to keep track of MY own url where I publish my photo blog. I had quite a burp in keeping track of my blog only because of severe family illness and a cross country move.
