Took a bit longer than expected to…
Took a bit longer than expected to arrive (10 days after ordering) and had very little in the way of communication, but absolutely no complaints about ease of ordering, packaging and choice of courier (Royal Mail).

Itemdropped the ball here.. is this a scam?
First time buying from Itemdrop and still waiting on news of my order placed on the 15th January.
The Managing Director replied to my first email to let me know the items paid for were "stuck in the supplier warehouse" however no follow-up since then and I am beginning to wonder if this is just a scam. The price seemed too good to be true.
If something changes I'll update the feedback. Sometimes with this lesser known retailers the only way to actually receive a response is by going onto Trustpilot. I'd really like a response and ideally the items paid for or if they aren't going to be delivered then my money refunded.

Hi. Seems we're very good at not replying to you in a quick manner as it is now 4 months on from your order. I had rather dropped off the ball in terms of Trustpilot reviews as, as a small business of 3 people, I was prioritising other factors in the business to help streamline processes in the quiet months that start the year in our industry. Now some order has been introduced I'm back on it.
So I've spoken to my partner, the other Managing Director, and she informed me the whole situation was a bit of a mess. So here goes from my understanding; our Star Wars Legion items are half in stock and half held with our supplier (for dropshipping purposes if we run out of stock in-house as we only have limited space in our store). We usually keep enough in stock to deal with daily orders but on this day it seems our lower price (which was good and true) had been shared on social media so we had more orders than usual. We had sold through all we had in store so went to our supplier but found they had issues at their warehouse and had closed for a Toy Fair and didn't seem to get rolling again for 2 weeks. I believe you were informed of this, given a chance to cancel and told we would contact you if anything changed.
My wife chased and chased with the supplier for a couple of weeks with no change before you contacted us again to which our reply a couple of days later was definitely too late on this occasion. She doesn't remember why it took so long to reply, she remembers replying to the email you sent on the evening of this review but doesn't know why the email the day before this hadn't been replied to. It seems our issues tend to rise around the beginning of a month which could be a payday increase in sales issue as my wife is responsible for customer service, half our purchasing and 90% of sales so it might be taking her longer to reply. I will discuss this with her and see if we can't pass some of the customer services to our sole employee around the beginning of the month to help her time.
To finish off, I believe you were refunded, and offered the items at the same price again once our supplier had sorted themselves out which was emailed to you just 5 days after this review. I fully understand the frustration, fully understand we could do better and appreciate your time to offer us feedback so we can address the issues we might run into in the future. Thank you again.

Brilliant service and received on time before Christmas.
They were cheaper than anywhere else too.
Will definitely be using them again, just wish I know of them before purchasing the other games I got.

Thought it was too good to be true
Was surprised when I saw the item going for that price and thought it was too good a purchase to ignore - so treated myself and waited for it to show up (free shipping was the icing on the cake).
About a week later (Royal mail strike action not helping) I got the parcel - well packaged and undamaged meaning I’ll definitely be using Item Drop again in the future!

We're sorry to hear you had issues with your order. I have had a look into the issue and found your email trail. The first we were informed of a missing item was at 5:33pm on the 1st December which is outside our working hours of 9am to 5pm. You left this review at 7:30pm so you gave us 2 hours to help you with your issue when we were not at work. Unfortunately being a business of 3 people we do not have 24 hour customer service although we do, at times, take a naughty peek into our emails in our out-of-office hours. I apologise about the missing item, and believe the issue was resolved the very next day when we were back at work. We manually package everything and sometimes at Christmas it can happen even though we try our hardest not to. Thank you again. I hope we can do better next time.

Item received exactly as described, in perfectly new condition. Delivery speed was reasonable considering it was coming from the UK. Great prices. Would definitely consider ordering again for those hard-to-find items.

a very good treatment of foreigners in my case, very careful with the Spanish customs and the seller is very kind, something difficult because it was difficult to find his contact, there is nothing on the page and I had to inquire a bit but nothing impossible. All round awesome store!
Fab communication, excellent range of products and generally great service! Itemdrop is our go to place for anything gaming related. Bought a switch last year and received great advice on timing, accessories and protection. Also a great range of merch for some fab and quirky gifts. I would recommend to anyone!

Honest, reliable and lovely!
Ordered an Xbox X from here when they were hard to get hold of and lots of places were taking orders and not fulfilling them. They were honest and open about the progress of the order throughout and got me my Xbox in good time for when I needed it. A real pleasure to deal with, would highly recommend.
