Worst company ever experienced they are not helpful at all 0 costumer service 0 technition service they are taking a weeks for reconnection and hours for disconnection if you missed your bill this needs to be shutdown or Danube has to change this management for AC many people avoid living in Danube because of Ista.
If there is 0 star or negative star i prefer to give them that please report complain and avoid these people.
After 13 years in the UAE, I can honestly say ISTA has one of the most outdated, slow, and manual customer processes I’ve experienced.
Just look at the move-out process:
You must call customer service to ask about the procedure.
They email you a form to fill manually.
You send it back and wait.
After moving out, it took days just to receive the final bill.
After paying the bill, you must call again to request an NOC.
Then you contact them again to ask how to get your deposit back.
Another form. Another email. This time for IBAN details.
All of this for a simple move-out.
Most service providers today allow you to log into your account, submit IBAN, request move out, track the request and the deposit refund is automatic.
I believe they are stuck in the 1990s with manual forms, repeated calls, no self-service options, and no proper digital workflow. They have a website I believe I have only used for payment. (It's 2026, everyone is doing a Digital Transformation even the small to medium size company)
What’s surprising is that the move-in process is also the same.
This is not about one bad incident, this has been my personal experience with their process and my whole stay. In a country where digital services are advanced, this level of inefficiency is disappointing. Not to mention they are super expensive. Finally! I moved out.
worst ever company in my life time experience
I moved out on 30th Sep 2025 however still i m not getting my refund and final bill. Tried to call customer services many times but nobody is attending the call. Had a very bad experience with Ista

The worst company in UAE and zero customer service.
I have an issue pending for over a year now in regards to irregular charges and instead of fixing it they are sending me notification that they will switch off their services.
What kind of company is this that is blackmailing customers, over charge them, charge them with estimated charges without a meter. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL and should be punished by the authorities.
The UAE should not allow such scamming companies to operate here and abuse the system.
I even ended up going to their office to resolve the issue in person. And if that was a failure, no resolution and no one is following up.
Has someone found a solution on how to deal with this company or we all going to suffer under their worst than acceptable management.
Previously, the ISTA portal was much easier to use, allowing batch payments for multiple units. Now, payments must be made individually, and errors often appear during the process. We manage 20 units, so this change has created significant inconvenience. Coupled with the lack of response to emails and unresolved portal issues since the migration, the overall service has been very frustrating. I hope ISTA takes immediate steps to improve both portal functionality and client support.
Billing manager Poonam quickly provided the resolution of the issue! Great service
They charge consumption wile AC is OFF !! They say meter is not functioning well, you pay them for the repair. But no change in the situation. You continue to pay for UN-USED consumption.
One should take this company to court for theft.
Worst company ever. Called over 1000 TIMES TO GET My final bill and still not get it and cannot plan my moving out without the NOC. This country needs to review the customer service sens cause, there is none where ever we go.
Waited over one month for my final bill to be processed after a number of times being told that it would come tomorrow. Finally received the final bill and cannot get a single response on when my refund will be processed.
I never expected such poor service in the UAE. Despite many calls and repeated promises from ISTA to reconnect the cooling in my apartment, nothing was done. I provided all the necessary information and followed every step, but no action was taken. It’s truly sad to see this level of negligence, especially in a country known for its high standards and efficiency. I hope no one else has to go through the same frustration.
After 5 years of paying my cooling bill on time, they miraculously hit me with a 1200 AED registration fee. Registration fee for what? I've been using them and paying for 5 years and now I have to pay to register? It's not right and I plan to file a case with the Ministry of Economy if they do not resolve my issue quickly.
