I wish I could write a positive review…

I wish I could write a positive review for iRocker because I own two. I bought a second iRocker about three years ago, an iRocker Nautical SUP and had problems from the get go. Within the first few months, the seams started to give way. I spent time trying to get a response from them and when I finally had contact with them, the company was intent on making this my fault. The board had barely been used and not stored in the sun (or even outdoors). They finally sent me a replacement. The board was under warranty but still I had to fight hard! Another problem from the beginning was the main fin lever. It would not lock. I tried every solution for the problem, even replacing the fin lever but to no avail. I have tried my other fin (from my all-rounder) but that didn’t work. After multiple back and forth with customer service, including a video that showed the problem, I received this response:
‘ I also wanted to kindly inform you that levers are not covered under warranty, as they are not considered a manufacturer’s defect. Any replacements for the levers would need to be purchased directly by you.

If you are still having trouble and the replacement lever has not resolved the issue, it might be worth trying a replacement center fin. I would be more than happy to offer you a coupon for $25 off your next order of $99 or more if you decide to purchase one. Another option you might consider is lightly filing down the fin with sandpaper to see if that helps it fit more securely.“
So, the company wants me to pay for a lever (if that’s even the issue!) or give me a coupon to spend more money at iRocker. Wow. They lost me as a customer. A lever would cost them nothing to keep me as a loyal customer but no, they won’t do that.
If customer service matters to you and a company that will own its production problems, there are plenty of companies to choose from with really good SUPs that are a lot less expensive.

DO NOT BUY TO USE FOR USE ON A YACHT

These SUPS are not suitable if you intend to use them over the summer months on board a yacht!
The material degraded so much that the seams split and bubbles formed between the layers... this was after 2 summer seasons of 3 months of use, the rest of the time it was packed away and stored properly.

On approaching the company, I was told it would not be covered under the warrantee as it was not stored in a temperature controlled room between uses, highly impractical unless you are on a Superyacht!
These boards are very expensive and I expected more, I had a Fanatic air that lasted 7 years under the same conditions and only then failed at the windsurfing attachment point! I will never buy from iRocker or recommend the boards or their customer support to anyone in the future!

UPDATE. Following this review, the company contacted me and after further investigations, they have now replaced my board for free. As to whether they same happens whilst being kept onboard a yacht, only time will tell, but hopefully not.

I have there amended my rating to 3 stars, if I could give separate ratings for customer service and product I would have increased it further for the customer response to my original review.

Katastrophaler Kundenservice

Leider haben wir ein Problem mit dem bestellten SUP. Der Kundenservice meldet sich mit einer Standard Mail und wiederholt sich mit der Bitte und geht überhaupt nicht auf das Problem ein. 3x haben wir bereits ein Video zu der Reklamation geschickt und es passiert einfach nichts. Nochmals würde ich dort nicht bestellen, lieber zahle ich ein paar Euro mehr für das Produkt (SUP).

Poor customer service, poor product

Poor customer service, I found the i rocker product I purchased a cheaply made product with a high price tag
When I made an enquiry to them I waited an age for a reply then told total garbage
I wouldn’t waste any money purchasing from them my opinion over priced badly manufactured pump with a limited life span and not worth the money

Poor quality boards, worse customer service

I bought two iRocker boards about four years ago and they were fantastic. They're still usable, but I decided it was time to upgrade for better performance.

I stuck with the same company and bought two BlackFin Model Vs. Initially, I was very pleased with the boards, as they performed well and did all that I wanted from a touring-type board.

Unfortunately, within a few months, one has basically fallen apart and the other has been recalled because of quality control issues.

It's taken weeks to get a response from iRocker, and while they sent one board as a replacement, it is not the same model, and not the type of board I want. I bought the model V specifically because of it's shape, dimensions, etc, and the replacement board doesn't match those criteria. However, it was the only replacement offered, so it was that or nothing.

The board being recalled will be replaced by BlackFin eventually, but they say this could take six months. That's a long time to go without when I've already paid for the boards so should be able to use them.

Communication with customer services is incredibly slow, and at no point has anyone actually bothered to explain or apologise for either the poor quality of the boards or the lack of effective customer support.

Frankly, both product quality and customer service has taken a HUGE nosedive since I first bought boards from iRocker, and I won't be buying from them again.

iRocker sell themselves as being the premier paddle board company, but that's a very empty statement. I'd seek out one of the other well-known boarding companies if you are thinking of buying an SUP, and paddle well clear of iRocker

Irocker nautical SUP

(Order number 24905) I have bought an Irocker nautical board and the large fin doesn’t fit. My husband has the same board and the fin from his board does fit mine so this should be a simple fix of replacing the fin, but when we try to contact Irocker we get no response. My fins appear slightly different to his and have a ‘notch’ cut out in the design. We even ordered a replacement fin (26351) and this also didn’t fit. We printed off our complaint email when we returned this fin (26/8/22) and included the paper copy of the complaint in the package, but still no response. So my purchase is not fit for purpose. Im thinking of claiming section 75 on my credit card if I don’t get any help with this soon. Very poor customer service.

None existent customer service… still waiting on a refund!

I sent a battery pump back that I had ordered by accident. They received it back on 1st August (proof of postage and receipt by them).

19 days later and I am still chasing a refund! It is 8 days since I last contacted them and still no reply and no sign of the £70 refund!!

I would honestly avoid this company. I hate to think of the difficulties I will have if there is ever a warranty issue on the boards I bought from them. It’s a shame as they seee good quality boards.

I guess I’ll have to chase my money using my credit card company.

Disapointed ...After weeks of looking at lots of sup…

After weeks of looking at lots of sup boards I finally decided on irocker , the board arrived in a few days and on inflating it I thought it looked fantastic.
On trying to attach the fins only 2 out of the 3 fitted!!! Not being beaten as I was at the side of the water and a few people looking, I tried my hardest to make it fit, I switched fins around and asked other people to help but they all said its a fault. Disapointed I bagged everything up and decided to contact irocker asap to tell them to send me another quickly, what a joke .
On there website it looks like there is a ONLINE CHAT but there isn't!! there's a telephone number to contact them, on my invoice, which is a false telephone number!!! , and I've now waited 2 weeks for them to contact me via e-mail so it's the waiting game!! but I don't have much faith in them replying if I'm honest . I'll leave another review if they do and let you know

I purchased two boards one for my wife…

I purchased two boards one for my wife one for me very happy with them, came with all the accessories at a very good price the board are used had a problem with it a very small part of the seam had lifted I contacted the customer services they dispatched a brand-new board within 48 hours very helpful customer service and very fast service there are a lot of companies out here that could take a leaf out of her book. good quality product but best of all good customer service

Fantastic company (premium product)

Fantastic company (albeit the customer service was a little slow to respond). My board wasn’t quite right, but after sending photos irocker swiftly addressed the issue and way exceeded my expectations. The quality of the product is excellent (and everything you get in the box is a premium product compared to other paddle boards). Thankyou irocker, I look forward to using it now.

Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. I contacted them by mail with a question 5 days ago and have not yet had a reply. They have removed their telephone number from their website. I found an old number via Google and heard a recorded message saying they are really busy so contact them by email! The £25, first time customer voucher email did not arrive. Sounds very much like a company that is folding and I’m very glad that I didn’t place an order.

Up the creak without a PADDLE

I Bought two SUPs with lots of accessories as a birthday present for my fiancé and lots of independent reviews kept talking about iRocker so I took the plunge and bought two expensive SUPs, but there were promotions on the website in such a way that you had two place two separate orders to get the deal - so i placed two orders (still £5 down as i never received the email sign-on promotion). All went through fine, money taken, all good except one of the colours had to be changed due to lack of stock.

One SUP turned up with all the accessories and they all seemed okay except for the fact it was missing the PADDLE! Literally up the creak without a paddle. So that renders it useless...

A few days later the other SUP turned up and that had everything in it.

But now, I get radio silence from iRocker - so much so i'm going have to go through my Statutory Rights BUT I miss the perfect weather, the perfect birthday present for my fiancé so we can have fun :'-(
UTTERLY SHOCKING.

EDIT UPDATE; 8 Days after notifying iRocker I have received an email confirming that a paddle is being posted to me. Won't get here for birthday but at least it should be here for the weekend. Just would be better to have more quicker communication rather than total radio silence. Rating increased to 3.

Uncontactable. Not honouring their discount offer.

I signed up to their email list, which offered a £25 discount on first order. I've had nothing through from them.

They've closed their phone lines and ask that everyone contact them through their web form, which gives a 7-day response time.

I have money that I want to spend on an iRocker board right now, but I'm not ordering until I get my voucher. If I don't hear from them very soon I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

I've also heard a lot about delivery problems and items arriving soiled or clearly pre-used. This is quite a concern.

To be honest, they're behaving a little like a company on the verge of folding. That would be a shame because they sell a good product.

Also the board we bought from iRocker UK last year is absolutely fantastic.

Had a irocker sup electric pump given…

Had a irocker sup electric pump given to me as a gift, after a few uses it stopped working. Contacted irocker directly and they asked me for proof of purchase which I could not give as it was a gift and no longer in talks with the gifter. I gave irocker the name of the gifter and they looked up the purchase history. I had a reply that this is now out of warranty and that they can't do anything with it, I then received another reply stating that they are willing to replace it this once as a good will gesture. I would just like to say thank you as irocker did not have to do this and this shows how good this company is and how good there aftercare is. I will definitely be shopping with them again for my upgrades and new equipment. Could not recommended this company enough!!

Very happy boarders

After being a little dubious following the reviews here, we decided to give Irocker a fair chance. Ordered 2 Allrounder 11's and it has been seamless from start to finish. Delivery was in 3 working days (delayed by DPD for 1 day). Well packaged in double boxing. All bundle equipment present and the quality is top notch. Inflated both boards with no issue and no obvious defects however have not had the chance to have tested out on the water as yet. Not foreseeing any issues from what we have seen so far but have registered the 3 year warranty so have this peace of mind in case any issues do crop up.

Very happy with the purchase so far and would definitely recommend!

Excellent quality product and fast…

Excellent quality product and fast delivery. After doing lots of research and reading reviews I ordered my irocker sup last week. I was a little nervous after reading some reviews but wanted to share how excellent the purchase has been. The sup arrived within 5 days, very well packaged. The quality of the board and accessories is superb. Easy to inflate, strong and nice design. The wheely bag is fantastic and overall I'm delighted with the purchase. This is my second sup and I would thoroughly recommend irocker. Current Black Friday deals are great value, so if you're thinking and hesitating like I was, I would encourage you to go ahead. Can't wait to get out on the water. Thanks irocker!
