Fraudulent car rental. Stay away, unless you want a bad experience!
Made the reservation over the phone, unable to do it via the website. It took about two weeks before I could receive a confirmation through my email. Once we finally got there, no one was there for the pick up. When I called through their calling system, the clerk told me that I did not give them a deposit (it was never requested in all the communications with them to get my confirmation). The clerk told me there was no car for me and he was at the train station on his way to MIA to get a car for me and wait for him for an hour. He finally showed up almost 3 hours after our pick up time and still needed to vacuum the car, which took literally 2 minutes. He showed me later on that he rented a car to Budget car rental for 350$/day. My guess is, this is where the car I reserved went. Instead of getting a midsize car for my family of 4 as booked, we got a chevy spark.... Half clean. We were in Florida for a quick vacation of 4 days, so I accepted the car as is so we could go on with our day. As soon as I pulled out of the parking the gas gauge dropped a notch, meaning the car was not full of gas. When I returned the car, again, no one was there to accept the car. I left it full of gas. 2 weeks later I get a charge of 75$ on my credit card. I texted the company about it and they told me the tank was 3/4 full and they had to vacuum the car. No one told me I had to detail the car for the return. He also told me the car was returned in MIA and the closing was done through that office instead of the one I picked up the car from (FLL), so it make sense the tank was not full... All in all, very bad experience from start to finish. This is fraudulent, they wait a couple weeks to charge you bogus fees.
