Absolutely terrible. It tricks you into accidentally paying for a repeat subscription despite never signing up to the subscription. I have been paying a subscription for months without realizing it. It is a scam. Avoid the site.

I signed up for a trial with iq-academy.org over a year ago. I never used the service again — not once. I forgot they even existed. Then, without a single word of warning, they took £10 from my account on 24th June. And then they did it again on 1st July — another £10 gone.

No email. No reminder. No renewal notice. No message saying "you're about to be charged." Nothing. They just reached into my account and took money for something I hadn't touched in over twelve months.

Here's why this matters: that money was set aside for something important. I noticed it was gone at the worst possible time. I've now had to dispute both payments with my bank, because I genuinely don't trust them not to do it again.

Think about what that means. A company you signed up to once, a long time ago, quietly helping themselves to your money whenever they feel like it — with no notice and no easy way to see it coming. That's not a subscription. That's a trap.

If they'll do this to me, they'll do it to you. Do not give this company your card details.

Ich kann nur eindringlich vor dieser Seite warnen! Hier wird mit einem IQ-Test für 0,49 € gelockt, doch im Hintergrund wird man ohne deutlichen Hinweis in ein extrem teures Abonnement für 39,99 € pro Monat gebucht.
Die Masche:
Die Abo-Gebühren sind auf der Website in winziger, grauer Schrift am untersten Rand versteckt, was laut geltendem EU-Recht (Button-Lösung) absolut unzulässig ist. Beim Bezahlvorgang ist der Preis von 39,99 € im normalen Sichtfeld überhaupt nicht erkennbar.
Der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit:
Nachdem ich mich beim Support beschwert habe, schickte man mir Screenshots der Website, in die nachträglich rote Pfeile eingefügt wurden, um Preisklarheit vorzutäuschen. Auf der echten Website existieren diese Hinweise in dieser Form nicht! Das ist eine bewusste Täuschung der Kunden.
Ich habe den Betrag bereits über meine Bank (DKB) per Chargeback reklamiert und den Vorfall der Verbraucherzentrale sowie der Wettbewerbszentrale gemeldet.
Fazit: Finger weg! Finger

My brother didn't know that this website describe trial for the test and took the test and it deducted money. However, till the time he knew it deducted small amount, he didn't know that it will deduct 49.99 SGD in 48 hours. He knew only I said it deducted my money because he accidentally used my virtual visa card. So, we want a refund because we didn't know about this. I only knew about this when I saw the notification from bank. And my brother is still under 18 years old. So, we want a refund. I let my brother contact the email of this website and nothing replied. And when I searched about this website, I found that this is scam although I don't want to believe. And as this is a critical period in my country, especially in economy, the amount you deducted is really my salary for this month. So, I surely want a refund. My brother has already contacted to your email. I hope you will respond for the refund. I hope you will do so. Thank you.

I am writing to formally demand a full refund of $49.99 SGD charged to my AYA Pay Visa card on 28 March 2026.
This charge was made under mislead and deceptive practices.The $49.99 fee was not clearly and conspicuously disclosed at the point of sale. Under international consumer protection laws (including the UK Consumer Rights Act, as your company is based on London), hidden subscriptions and "dark pattern" billing are illegal.
If a full refund is not processed within 48 hours, I will take following actions:
1. File a Formal Dispute (Chargeback): I have already alerted AYA Bank that this is an unauthorized and misleading transaction.
2. Report to Action Fraud (UK): Since your business operates from the UK, I will file a report with the National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre.
3. Lodge a complaint with the CMA: I will notify the Competition and Markets Authority (UK) regarding your subscription traps.
4. Trustpilot & Social Media: I will join the hundreds of other victims in documenting this experience publicly to warn other consumers.
I expect a confirmation of the refund and the immediate cancellation of any associated subscriptions.

Total un seriös! Ich wünschte, ich hätte vorher gecheckt. Jetzt bin ich leider auch in die Falle getappt und es ist unmöglich jemanden zu erreichen bzw die Abbuchungen zu stornieren und das ABO zu stoppen.

Franchement c'etait assez sympa, rien a dire, un score de 127! vraiment pas mal

Mir wurden gerade einfach so aus dem nichts 40€ abgezogen!! Ich hab mal vor einer sehr langen Zeit bestimmt so 6-7 Monate her ein Test gemacht und der hat nur 1€ gekostet, keine Ahnung woher dieses Unternehmen sich die Frechheit nimmt sich einfach an meinem Konto zu vergreifen!!!!!!

Test okay und bin über den Mensa-Test auf die Seite gekommen, dann muss man zahlen um das Ergebnis zu erhalten. Abgebucht wird dann der Betrag und noch einmal das Doppelte- dies ist nicht wirklich nicht zu erkennen und auch deutlich zu viel - also leider eine Abzocke!

Vous faites le test et pour le résultat on vous demande de payer une bricolette par carte bleue. Le site mémorise votre carte bleue et vous inscrit à votre insu à 39,99 €/mois. Résultat j'ai été débité pendant trois mois avant de m'en apercevoir. Accéder à votre compte est une galère parce que vous n'avez pas de compte...on y arrive toutefois en réinitialisant un mot de passe qui n'a jamais existé. Donc désinscription et opposition à ma banque pour les paiements frauduleux.
