How many times have you asked yourself, "Why didn't I think of that?" In my lifetime, those occasions come down to "Why didn't I think of Intelligent Change?"

With an M.Ed. in counseling and an M.A. in sociology -- focusing on the self-concept --, I professionally have practiced, advised, and written about Intelligent Change.

Since an accident at birth diagnosed me with cerebral palsy, I have personally succeeded with Intelligent Change. Nothing is impossible. I often claim that my mindset was based on my parents reading me "The Little Engine That Could." That children's book made me believe there is always a way to live your best life.

I have been using The Five Minute Journal Health and Fitness Edition daily for several months. This is the easiest journal I have ever had and it is perfect way to start and end my days. The order process was easy and delivery was fast. I also received Mindful Affirmation cards as a gift. I love the content provided in the journal, cards and in emails. It has helped me build my gratitude and mindfulness practices and I look forward to more from Intelligent Change.

I've recently started using the Notes to Mindfulness Journal (Sunset Edition) and I absolutely love it. It’s been such a helpful tool for managing my anxiety and shifting my mindset. I’ve always struggled with overthinking and stress, but taking a few moments with this journal every day helps me stay more grounded, optimistic, and focused. I’ve noticed that when I approach things with a more positive and organized mindset, progress happens faster and I feel more in control.

The journal itself is beautiful — I love the design and quality. Ordering was simple, shipping was smooth, no issues at all. I’m really happy with my purchase and will definitely keep using it as part of my routine.

I originally purchased the Productivity Planner at a brick and mortar store, but fell so deeply in love with it that I went straight to the source for my next batch of journals. The process was just a delightful as browsing in person! The site does a great job showing off the beautiful and intentional details in each journal. In fact it did such a good job that I wound up buying more journals than I needed (but you can never have too many, right?) and have very much enjoyed taking my time filling them out. Shipping was prompt and all my items were lovingly wrapped. I also signed up for their newsletter and have been using their prompts as ways to make my journaling and daily habits even more intentional. The quality of the journals are absolutely divine as well. I adore how lux the covers feel and how they invite me to sit down with them. They've also sparked plenty of conversations with coworkers, friends, and strangers whenever I use them in public! I'll definitely be restocking soon and look forward to browsing the site for myself and (after seeing the interest from friends) others!

I find their products to be straightforward to use. Having an affirmation to carry with you throughout the day is incredibly powerful. The chakra cards are beautiful, like woodcarvings on cardstock. They have packed so much focused meaning into each card. If you are new to chakras, you would still be able to use these cards. I think they make a great bridge to learning how the different chakras affect your well-being. Intelligent Change is an excellent company, and I have many of their quality-made products.

I recently purchased Get Closer intimacy edition for my boyfriend and it was such a beautiful experience that helped us share stories about ourselves. It was truly special seating by the fire going on our first time canoe camping trip together and sharing beautiful intimacy stories shaped by wonderful and helpful questions from the Get closer cards. Highly recommended if you want to get closer!

I am on my Third 5 minute journal now! I love how simple and easy it is to use. I would love to see a spot to write your location each day. I do this myself but I find when I look back I love to see all the different places and countries I’ve travel with my journal.

I just ordered my first journal for my 9 year old and I’ll see how if she likes it.

I also love the daily productivity cards, I have ADHD and it really helps me to keep focused during my work hours and to get things done without as much distraction. Well thought out!

I have purchased multiple journals from intelligent change and recently purchased the new book Sappy Medium, a collab with jb copeland. Just the look of the book is unique and different like everything they do! I have not finished the book yet but half way done. It is very relatable in so many ways!

I love, love, love all the products I have purchased from Intelligent Change, especially the Getting Closer games! We now do up to three questions of the Table Talk version at family dinners. We learn, we laugh, and sometimes we cry. All of it deepening our connection as a family! 🥰

I’ve become a big fan of the 5-minute journal. I bought my first one three months ago and made it part of my morning routine. Mornings have always been tough for me, mood-wise - I tend to be pretty grumpy and negative. Once I started with the journal, it took a few weeks to start noticing changes but now it truly does help me start off every morning in a better frame of mind.
As for ordering and logistics and whatnot, no issues there. Very happy with my order and will be repurchasing.

I absolutely love the productivity planner but have been very disappointed with customer support with my current order which seems to have gotten lost in transit. Today is June 25 and there has been no shipping update since June 6 (last reported location Texas). Over the past 10 days I've reached out to Intelligent Change via their chat function, their web form and by replying to the shipping confirmation email with absolutely zero follow up. I ordered a 2 year supply and I am at a loss as to what to do. I would rather not have to dispute the transaction with my credit card but what else am I supposed to do at this point? What happened to their customer support and service? How is this making my life more productive?!?

EDIT: Hi June, Thanks for the quick follow up! Unfortunately, I'm not seeing an email from you guys in my inbox or spam nor to the email I sent you in reply to the shipping confirmation. I'm not sure what email you are using but it's the same as the order confirmation email as is my shipping address. I'd appreciate if my order was resent!

Update 7/3/25: Yay! I finally received what I ordered exactly a month ago! Now that I finally got what I paid for I updated my review from one star to 4 because I really do love the Productivity Planner so much. I had tried differently weekly planners and never thought I needed a daily planner but I came across the Productivity Planner through a Coursera course and it changed my life! Initially I thought all the reflective cues were a bit much and I didn't know what I needed a whole page for notes for but turns out I love having a brief gratitude reflection and intention setting to start my day and I find it helpful to reflect on my highlight of the day, what I've learned and what I want to remember to close my day. Sometimes these prompts turn into diary like reflections which means I've learned to love the notes page as well. I even use it on vacation where my only MITOD is for example to be present. I also find the MITOD helpful for unmotivated days at work because (even if it takes me until the afternoon) when a task is listed it helps me actually to get started on it because I do not want to mark it as "undone". Not surprisingly it almost always turns out to be not as bad as I thought it would be.

I deducted one star because this past order experience has left a somewhat bad taste in my mouth. I should not have needed to resort to public shaming before my issue was resolved. I tried everything else I could think of first with no results. I got the new order and tracking email so I'm not sure how I could have "missed" all the other emails that were presumably sent to me to resolve my issue. But now all is well that ends well. Luckily I won't need to reorder for a while!

Update 7/6/25: We got back from vacation so I was able to see what was delivered. Imagine my surprise to find 2 of the 9 planners (8 of which I paid for) were old ones which still had the Paper Source price sticker for $25.95 (and we all know the current price is most definitely not $26). The old ones do not include all the features I love and mentioned in my updated 7/3 review (no reflection cues for morning nor evening, no daily time table schedule, one day is squeezed unto one page instead of two). It's obvious my order included left over merchandise Intelligent Change can't sell and is now loading off unsuspecting customers (since I did pay full price for 8, not 7 planners!). Luckily my husband does not use all features so he'll be able to use the two old ones. I tried avoiding ordering through Amazon but next time I definitely will because it makes returns and reimbursement so much easier. This has been quite an odyssey to still not receive what I paid full price for. Very disappointing! Final rating reduced from 4 to 3 stars.

Feeling grateful for my Five Minute Journal from 🤍 ☻ as it is my secret lately to stay positive by keeping showing up and taking time for myself, building healthy habits and getting brain rewards from practising it routinely.

Changing my neurological pathways through the act of mindful journaling, expressing gratitude, formulating solid habits, creating meaningful rituals, and bringing in positive vibes, one page, one day at a time. ;)

My secret to staying on track/‘streak’:
Taking my 5-minute gratitude journal everywhere so that I’d never miss a day even if I don’t get the chance to fill it as the first thing in the morning (but it is advised to do so lol). 💫

I really hope to use this practice of journaling to rewire my brain and consciousness and retune my energy to attract healing, blessings and peace. 🤍🫶🏻✨
