Rob was so helpful, I needed house insurance to cover a property going through probate and being sold and he trailered it to suit what I needed. Once the property was sold he cancelled it no questions asked and issued a refund. Couldn't have been any more helpful! Would highly recommend!

For empty house/probate insurance I found Insuristic very competitive and when the insurance was no longer required because the house was sold, they responded promptly to my cancellation request. Used unoccupied property probate insurance which was the best value I could find with good flexible requirements. As always the probate took longer than expected, but extending was super easy and still good value.

Unoccupied property probate insurance is a very specific requirement which is covered in a very professional way by these guys.
The sign up process was smooth and easy. We had to renew our cover due to an extended probate process, which was also quick and easy.
When it came to terminating cover, I received a pro-rata refund, with no cancellation fee, on the same day that I applied for it.

We used Insuristic to cover
our mum's property following her death when the existing insurance company were not prepared to insure an empty property.
We found them very efficient and the conditions of the cover were not as prohibitive as some other companies we looked at.

Claim not upheld due to small print stating I needed to have someone check the property every 7 days (which I did) but was required to take pictures of the outside and inside and log entry and exit times of the empty property

I’m sure if I’d done the above there would have been an additional clause to stop the claim.

Found this useful when house unoccupied for indeterminate period. Liked the proportionate refund promptly given.

Questions on the application form were sensible and. crucially, were directed at Executors of the Estate.
