It mucked up my phone's homescreen, never provided wifi access and was hard to get rid of. Probably not a scam but useless.

So I just paid for some GBs in preparation for my trip, and got rewarded with two adds. So not only does the app shove adds in my face, for a PAID service, but it's also planning on draining my GBs - that I've paid for to them - so that they can shove more adds in my face? SERIOUSLY??? First, and last, trip I'll use this app!

What's very annoying is how they try to overwhelm and con you into gaining access into every part of your device. Imagine downloading only their wifi app and then their launcher app gets downloaded on its own automatically.. That's quite fishy and absurd. And also the constant bombardment with ads is a huge turn-off. Please stay off Instabridge, for the sake your device's health! I Mean Stay Off completely from any of their services. They're absolutely not trustworthy!

Says connected to EE wifi but did not work when mobile data turned off. Tried to uninstall but was blocked, but found a way. Default browser and permissions required and found it extremely pervasive. Proceed with caution if you want to try it.

Bought 20 GB Global package for Zimbabwe and it worked perfectly, including recharging after the first week using the same eSiM.

Very responsive customer service who refunded me instantly for accidentally duplicating my initial purchase.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about the free data, but it seems to work quite well. The downside is you have to watch an ad for each 100MB of global data, and their mobile interface is quite the disaster to behold.

The app really wants you to use all of their services at once, from the launcher to their VPN. They offer an app launcher, a VPN, Wi-Fi management, and mobile data. The only thing I need is the data, and it works quite well if you can just ignore their (very pushy) app.

For example, I watched ads for about 3-5 minutes and got 1GB of global data for free; each 100MB mobile data pack you get is valid for one week. I literally got some more 100MB packs while I was writing this review.

In conclusion: It works, just be aware that it is a very pushy app that will try to get the most out of you if you don't stop it.

I thought Instabridge was the greatest idea of the decade and was super impressed at the magnitude of help this would provide for a world still recovering from the beatdown that COVID-19 was for us, 99% of the population. What I found out was awful and frankly terrifying. First it wanted to offer me all this free data for watching a few ads, then it wanted permission to access everything in my device. Then it wanted me to use only it's service if I tried to do ANYTHING on my phone. I was like "nope, this isn't right" and I uninstalled it and restarted my phone to clear out any junk that might have been left behind. When my phone came back on NOTHING HAD CHANGED! IT STILL HAD TOTAL CONTROL OF EVERYTHING, it was as if I hadn't done anything! I decided to factory reset and wipe out everything to avoid what I was sure was a virus and when I went to do the set up I discovered that my phone had gone from being an Android 13 operating system to an Android 10 which is about 5 minutes away from being obsolete! They stole 3 levels of software from my phone!! I have tried everything to restore it to no avail, it's gone. At this point I'm going to attempt to reach out to them and then I AM GOING TO GO FIND THEM AND DEAL WITH THIS IN PERSON. They're going to get a lot of publicity out of it and not the good kind! The loud bad for business kind. I am an American and I don't have to be taken advantage of by a corrupt business, I have the legal right to boycott them IN PUBLIC. OUTSIDE THEIR OFFICES. EVERY DAY.

I paid for the service but cannot use the eSIM because I used the app on another phone. When I as support it is automated and they do not help.

Bad company. They took video snaps of my face when I tried to use their app and later found a Facebook sign up in the email I used. They stalk people who want to avoid their services after closing their accounts. Stay far away from them if unless you want constant adds and strangers showing up at your door.
