Like a good old friend. Maybe it's not modern and flashy, but it does the job.

Free source to design a svg as you like, i have created many svg paths,as maps logos, without any problems based on my experience with the inkscape inc.

It's free and good for graphic designing or editing and perhaps not the best for it either however the main issue here is that every time that i do attempt to export/transfer SVG file into a JPEG or PNG files (for websites like Youtube) it just slows down then eventually just crashes repeatedly with no actual progress done so far, i perhaps will uninstall Inkscape and look into better alternatives, an alternative that won't slow down and crash on me when it comes to exporting/transferring images+files, i am not the only one out there that are experiencing these issues, also the recent update 1.4.2 Inkscape seem to have downgraded a bit with the styles of designing, brushing, layering etc that it makes Microsoft paint seem better in comparison which says something because Microsoft Paint have barely updated for like a decade probably longer than a decade (perhaps exaggerated a bit for the last part but still)

However i have discovered another way with "shift Control E" after a few attempts it seems to be working for me now but before that it wasn't so i will give another rating to 4 out of 5.

I like how you manage the lettering. I love how performs so much better on Linux even with the experimental OpenCL hardware acceleration compared to that trashy Windows.

What to improve? CMYK management for sure, linework styles and color layers like the Illustrator Blob Brush that will set free the professional illustrators' imagination that use tablet/touch screen peripherals. Make it just more balanced between design and art...sorry, Art! ;)

PS an integrated frame by frame for 2D animation would be awesome. This software, beside Blender, would be the best ally for game developers. Working with vectors then eventually downscaling with raster formats is the ideal way. No more Photoshop and similar stuff.
PPS when do you finally get the verified badge on Flathub? That's important for the Linux community.
