Initio Parfums Privé is one of my favourite niche perfume houses, and I recently received my order of Rehab EDP from their USA store (sadly, no locations in Canada).

I’m absolutely impressed! 😍

Yes, it took a little longer to arrive, but there was no rush on my end, especially with the Canada Post strike (which I wholeheartedly supported despite it being a bit of a personal inconvenience for me btw!).
Honestly, I don’t understand why some people are bothered by delivery times—it’s perfume, not something essential like insulin or food!
Plus, shipping was free! I personally prefer a slower, non-expedited delivery over paying extra for overnight shipping any day!

The perfume arrived beautifully packaged, just as you’d expect from a high-end fragrance brand. What initially surprised me, but ultimately impressed me, was the extra care taken in securely wrapping the package with duct tape. 📦

After reading reviews on TrustPilot about previous issues with damaged or leaking items, it’s clear to me now why so much duct tape was used. 😄

But- it also proves that the brand truly listens to customer feedback and that they not only just acknowledge concerns—but also really do take proactive steps to prevent and resolve any potential or existing issues- which is ultimately what truly matters.

Furthermore, I appreciate receiving some lovely holiday gifts with my initial order, which includes: two samples of my choice, four additional 1.5ml discovery set samples, and a 10ml Side Effects sample- oh! and a 90ml Initio PP gift bag! 😍

So, from my experience at least, it’s clear that Initio Parfums Privé really does value its customers and major kudos for that!

Now, a bit of a constructive criticism- if I had to suggest one or two improvements, it would be to offer a more robust customer loyalty program.
While I do appreciate the occasional discount codes and gifts, a more developed and expanded loyalty program could make returning customers feel even more valued.

As some have noticed- the atomizers could be improved (don’t get me wrong- they are by no means defective).

That being said, this is a minor point in what was otherwise a fantastic experience! 🙃♥️
I’ll definitely be shopping here again and would recommend Initio Parfums Privé to anyone looking for a luxury fragrance experience.

My girlfriend bought a whole collection of them and each one of them has the most obnoxious smell I've ever experienced. It makes my eyes water and gives me headaches. Most likely due to chemicals they use to intensify and preserve the smell. Awful and sickening!

Jai commander un parfum 220 eur sur le site cetais ecris un parfum offert jai la preuve quand je recois une petite bouteille je les appelle ils disent non c une boite vide qui est offerte et pas un parfum pourtant cetais bien mentionné bouteil de parfum offerte et quand je demande un remboursement ils accepte pas une grosse arnaque ce site que ce soit l'odeur du parfum sa sent pas bon du tout déjà meme pour 50 eur la bouteille je prendrais pas en temp normal alors 50 ml toute miniature 220 eur c'est l'arnaque du siècle.

I had the worst experience in the perfumery industry, I wanted to buy my Initio Oud for greatness Neo , which in the cart appears as a gift several samples and festive sleeve where the quantity of the contents was indicated 90ml when the bags and gift box was indicated as a bag and box but the festive sleeve said 90ml and I thought it was another Christmas surprise perfume!
I placed the order but after however I wrote and asked what is this and they said it was just the festive box for the perfume , I felt misled and wanted to cancel the order , as it said on their terms and conditions that I can cancel until I receive confirmation email that it has been forwarded to delivery companies, But they told me it's already sent but I got confirmation email a day later sounds like a lie so I don't cancel , they said to refuse the order on delivery and they will refund my money , the DHL said they can't take the order back as they were not informed by anyone. Now I have to follow them to send the parcel unexpectedly and I guess I also have to pay the delivery back, but for what, I respected their conditions, but they not ? I didn't want to write here for everyone to see but I felt offended by the star, but when I wrote them feedback and they didn't take any action and they didn't even answer anything I understood that I had to say it in order to others know too. to know that when they shop from them they may encounter disrespect and no solution to the problem! I'm sorry to say this because I really love their perfumes and I was planning to have all of them in my collection not just the ones I have now but for such an attitude towards customers I think I will find other attitude minded alternatives their face to customers! I'm sorry you ruined the present I wanted to give myself for Christmas!

On monday evening i ordered 1 bottle off perfume and on thursday it was delivered. Everything went smooth and as planned. Got enough mails for every step my order was going thru. Happy with my joy in a bottle.

Considero que los perfumes INITIO tienen un aroma profundo que agrada a las personas que me rodean. Permanece casi todo el día. La presentación, embalaje y servicio es excelente.

Disgraceful customer service! I had ordered for my husband for our anniversary present. The packaging was damp and wet when opened we thought it couldn't be broken so just to be sure we opened it and there was pieces of glass which went everywhere! My husband ended up cutting his finger! luckily we didn't open it in front of the kids. So I we cleaned this and threw the entire thing in the bin. After explaining this to intio they got back to me for further info which was provided. Then the next day I was asked for a video of the bottle even after explaining that I disposed of this. They do not care at all! Disgusting service and no care at all for customers and their safety. They just case about the money. It has been a week and I’ve not got a reply back. I will never order from this company again!

Utterly disgusting after sales and returns service.
I was drunk one night and ordered Oud For Greatness instead of OFG Neo. So I immediately ordered OFG Neo and was planning to send OFG back once it arrived.
When it arrived I emailed the company on how to return it as there is no return form in the parcel.
At first the emailed me back and gave me an address where to return it, however the address was

Which is basically Gatwick airport.
When I then emailed them to ask how would anyone know what my parcel was and how would they know it was mine to send a refund they did not reply to my email, over and over again.
It has now passed the 14 day deadline and I still have no reply so I’m now stuck with both OFG and Neo. I already have OFG so now have 2 bottles for £320 and Neo for £320.
This is the thanks you get for being a loyal customer.
Never again will I ever buy a product from them.

Disgusting. Placed an order on Initio Parfums website for £230. Was told delivery would take 2-5 working days. Into the second week and the order hasn’t even been dispatched yet they’ve taken the money from my bank account. The only customer service they have is email. I’ve emailed three times & had no reply. Surly this is stealing? Is there anyone who can advise me on next steps? Safe to say I will never make a purchase from these crooks ever again.

Initially I was very disappointed with this company, hence only 4 stars.

My order didn't arrive in the time expected, I didn't get any answers.

However once I managed to get contact they couldn't be more helpful with constant updates on the status of my order.

Terrible customer service. Very unprofessional. Refused to refund the return package claimed that box was open. Yeah shipping box was open, parfum box wasn't! Small parfum box doesn't come sealed.

I have 3 Initio products and 2 from the sister company Parfums de Marly.

Had an issue with one regarding the collar of the bottle coming out in the cap and raised the issue with Initio. They requested proof of purchase which I supplied as well as pictures of the issue. I was then told that nothing could be done irrespective of the product being genuine and batch numbers et cetera being available.

Shocking customer service from a niche brand selling products in excess of £200.

Product quality itself is good, but I won't be using them of Parfums de Marly again, it's just not worth the risk.

Initio could learn a few things from Electimuss and Amouage both in terms of quality control and customer services. Poor show Initio, poor show.

Terrible customer support. I had a problem with the atomiser of my perfume (same as the person who left the review here as well). Customer support blatantly ignored my query.

Have in mind that a very large portion of Initio as well as Parfums de Marly perfumes (they are the same company) come with defective atomisers that start leaking out of nowhere.

Even though I love their perfume formulations, the way they treat their customers is awful. The quality of atomisers has been subpar for quite some time now, yet they haven't fixed the issue.
