Indy Language Center offers fun and educational language classes in Spanish, French, Italian, German, American Sign Language, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, TOEFL Preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL) from our Indianapolis-area classrooms in Carmel, Indiana, our South Florida classrooms in North Palm Beach, Florida and worldwide online. Our goal is to provide top-notch language instruction services to the general public at an affordable price. Our conversational, stress-free approach to teaching languages makes the language experience fun and effective. Students learn the language by interacting with native and native-fluent instructors with grammar reinforced through continuous conversation. Our courses teach all aspects of the language, including culture, with more emphasis is placed on the development of speaking and listening skills.

Wow how do I begin to say thank you to you all. Since mid-2022 I’ve been attending Indy Language Center taking ASL my instructor was Ms.Carlina As a student she taught me the basic and principals of signing. When I began I was nervous but her training skills helped me to understand, learn and become involved. The more ASL courses and classes I took ensured my ability to sign plus practicing gained my confidence. Ms Carlina knew when to speed us up or slow down for us when necessary so we all felt connected. (Amazing) I always looked forward to my next class Ms Carlina was very patience, professional and knew when each of us made a wrong quester or if our fingers weren’t properly positioned. (lol). I appreciate her leadership skills and the time to teach me and others. All and all , these ASL lessons has taught me to better listen to my employees and I will give back to this community like never before when possible. I’ve recently accepted another supervisor position/role within my company and I need to take a break. Then I learned Ms Carlina is also leaving, although in time I hope to return and become more advanced.

Private lessons work great for me. It gives me a lot of flexibility with location, date/time, lessons are designed for me.

I'm a beginner learner of korean and 선생님 지현 has always been a great teacher from the beginning, she does a great job at explaining the Korean language thoroughly so it's easy for us to understand. I don't ever feel like I can't ask questions! Also, she's very patient and always explains little cultural things about South Korea to us. I've enjoyed this course very much and hope to continue learning korean here so that so I can become fluent. If you're in Indiana and are considering doing classes remotely, I highly recommend ILC!
