Although I am an experienced independent traveller, I could not have toured India without the planning and services of India Odyssey Tours. My consultant, Kyle Li, tailored a journey according to my preferences, based on a combination of two of their suggested itineraries. He was always courteous, helpful and prompt with his responses. The cost was only marginally more than that for a group tour with single room supplement, but was far more flexible. I was very well looked after, with a private car, transfers to/from my accommodation, and good standard hotels with breakfast. Everything was well organised. The only negative was inconsistent quality of guides for some attractions, but I know Odyssey is working on this. All guides were satisfactory, but some set a higher standard than others. Overall, I would totally recommend this company.

We would recommend Odyssey Tours without a doubt. Owen was our trip advisor and did a superb job in helping to plan our ten day tour of India. He responded to our communications regarding adjusting itineraries and last minute changes in plans within 24 hours every time. We found the cost of the trip for two people to be very reasonable. Each link of the trip went flawlessly, beginning with being met at the Delhi airport. The hotels chosen for us were excellent, the drivers were courteous, knowledgeable and really good at negotiating the traffic on India's roads. The guides were very good, only one was a little difficult to understand and not too excited about their task. In general people with higher proficiency in English would enhance the quality of the trip. India can be an overwhelming experience but Odyssey tours and their on the ground employees in India made it a rich cultural adventure! We would definitely book another tour with this agency and we would definitely request that Owen be our liaison.

I wanted to tour South India after attending my nephew's wedding in Delhi. I found Odyssey Tours online, and worked with their representative Kyle Li to develop an itinerary that matched my interests and budget. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Kyle was easy to work with, and was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Every item on the final itinerary we agreed upon was delivered as promised. All Odyssey's representatives in India, including local agents, drivers, and guides were outstanding. The quality of accommodation throughout my visit was excellent, and generally exceeded by far my expectations. I would recommend Odyssey Tours to anyone seeking the kind of customized travel experience they offer. I hope I have the chance to travel with them again.

We visited Bhutan with India Odyssey Tour. Our tour consultant was Mr.Kyle Li . He did an excellent job. Our tour guide and driver are well-experienced and helpful. Our wonderful 5 days trip in Bhutan went smoothly. Bhutan is a hidden jewel in Asia, so whoever wants to discover something new or exotic should visit there. We enjoyed every single moment in Bhutan!

We had no problems finding the your local Odyssey representative at the Delhi airport. We were given the cell phone number for each local Odyssey contract and the driver upon arrival; a thoughtful idea!
Hats off and a great round of applause to MyOdysseyTours Kyle Li, our tour organizer, driver Jaswant, guides and hotel staff. All spoke English, were very knowledgable, professional and caring. We were treated like royality. There was always someone with us to make sure the hotel checkin went smoothly. The guides were patient with us taking pictures and didn't rush us at the sites.
Kyle Li did the hard work of coming up with the tailor-made adventure program and he even came up with recommended flight schedules which I find hard to do by myself.
Kudos to our driver Jaswant for his suggestions on India food, his sense of humour, conversations and for teaching me to count in Hindi. He had an uncanny ability to be on time through that incredible traffic.
It's not often one gets to see camel fair, taken in a national holiday, enjoy fireworks, visit a city of blue, tiger safari, see other wild animals,drive through the country looking at hills, mountains, lakes, desert, famous monuments, temples, forts and the red city, be amazed at the wonderful colors of clothing, decorated transport vehicles, markets. India is a truly amazing place to visit and MyodysseyTours made it happen. Once again thanks Kyle and Jaswant for making this a memorable and successful holiday for us. You guys did all the work and let us relax as a holiday should be.

I spent close to 2 weeks travelling through Nepal and everything on that trip was expertly planned and ultimately created the most incredibly memorable holiday ever; from Everest Base Camp to the Rhino's of Chitwan. The support of Catherine Wang, who I have developed a great relationship with and booked a few holidays with her, was perfect and calling us throughout the holiday to make sure that everything was fine. If you are planning a tailored trip - this is the way to go!

I just finished an 8 day tour with India Odyssey and had a wonderful experience. The agent Kyle Li always responded very quickly and answered all of my questions (and I am a bit picky, I made him change some of the hotels, had particular dates, etc). Everything he promised was exactly like said. Excellent 5 star hotels, pick ups at airports, really good guides and an amazing driver Rajesh Kumar. Rajesh was exactly the kind of driver you were hoping to take care of you in India for a week - he always was on time, everything exactly planned out, no surprises, and I asked them to skip shopping stops which they did without any problems. The sights were amazing, I highly recommend adding Varanasi to the usual Golden triangle tour - it is such a different and amazing experience. I can recommend India Odyssey without hesitation - I was worried when I was getting into it but had a super good experience in all aspects (and lucked out even with the weather).

Have recently returned from a tour of India that I devised and then was arranged by India Odyssey Tours. I visited Mumbai, Aurangabad, Kochi, Perayar, Madurai and Kerala backwaters. All the hotels were excellent as were the guides and drivers and I saw everything that I had planned. Sadly my experience with flights within India was dreadful. None left on time and delays ranged from half an hour to one and a half hours. This added up to a day of my holiday wasted sitting at airports. However this cannot be blamed on IOT. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars was that on a couple of occasions the choice of hotel was not the best, once because of my advanced age and the huge number of steps that had to be negotiated and also with the inconvenient location within the city.

Had a great experience with my Odyssey Travel Consultant, Queenie Yang. She spent time managing my requests, and found many experiences that we wanted to be involved in. She recommended appropriate alternatives when my choices where not available. Can't wait for our tour of India to start early next year.

I have to admit I was very hesitant to find a travel company off of the internet, however, after a ridiculous amount of research I decided to take a chance with India Odyssey Tours. I filled out the short online form requesting information and within an extremely short period of time I was contacted by Queenie Yang.
I must say that Queenie is absolutely amazing. I had several things I wanted to do spanning four different countries and I kept changing my mind and adding new things to the list. Queenie seamlessly put our trip together starting in Beijing China and moving on to Lhasa Tibet, then Kathmandu Nepal and off to Bhutan. Finally, another 12 days traveling all over Northern India. We were also very picky about price and length of time and we wanted every item on our list included. Queenie made it all possible including my request that I get to shop in the Being Human Clothing store in Delhi. I don’t believe any other tour company could have put all of our requests together to make such a fantastic journey for us.
The guides and drivers were always on time, most times they added extra things throughout the day for us to do that we did not know about so we got to experience even more. They were always very friendly and willing to explain anything. I love to take pictures and several times the drivers offered to stop so I could get better pictures and if we were in a non-stopping point, I noticed that they were paying attention to my picture taking because they always slowed down.
We received several phone calls while in India making sure that we were alright and happy and that everything was going well. Even Queenie called us, the driver said “there is a call from China for you’ and I said “I don’t know anyone in China” Ha!!! It was Queenie!!! Very nice to have been able to talk to her on the phone.
We will be planning more trips like this one and we will be using Odyssey Tours and Queenie Yang for these new adventures. Thank you for helping us to have such an amazing adventure. It could not have gone better!!!

Starting to plan the tour we were really impressed by Ms. Queenie Yang who was very helpful and knowledgeable, responding fast to all our questions and suggestions as well as coming back with useful proposals. The final tour itinerary met our expectations 100% and we felt Queenie’s attention and care throughout all the journey.

Too little effort in helping shape our vacation meant tons of time in the car driving for hours on end between cities to see little. Domestic flights weren't proposed not because they weren't available, but because India Odyssey lacked adequate support teams (but they didn't bother to tell us that). They didn't recommend some big sites that we were right next to. When we finally flew back to Delhi to overnight before a morning flight, they didn't even think to put us at a hotel near the airport, instead arranging for a 1.5-2 hour drive each way so that we stayed at the in-town hotel we had been at at the beginning of our stay. The tour package was expensive, but had some more thought and effort gone into it, it would have been worth it. Instead, we paid a hefty price to see only a portion of what we could beyond the inside of the vehicle.
