Good matches and coaching
These guys are great. They really listen and get to know who you are.
The first couple of matches were good and almost on target. At that point it was about explaining nuances and really refining.
Later matches were very accurate. I've had a few great conversations and an initial coffee where the person was ideal as a match, just the chemistry wasnt there. The team at Ignite can bring the match, sparks are likely although not always guaranteed. We have to take some responsibility for how we show up and approach these initial contacts. It doesnt mean that you have suddenly met 'the one', and what you do meet is someone with very closely matched values and personality who is single and looking for the same connection that you are.
I'm happy with the service from Ignite. It is not their responsibility to turn me from single-to-attached (thats on me), and what they certainly do is improve the chances with the connections they make.

Still single after 2 years with Ignite !
My experience with Ignite, a dating agency that prides itself on creating many "suitable" introductions, has been profoundly disappointing and deeply disheartening. When I first approached Ignite, I was filled with hope and excitement, enticed by their grand claims of a high success rate and personalised matchmaking services. Unfortunately, the reality was starkly different, leading me to question their services and the integrity of their operations. First and foremost, the service is costly. (1k per date !! ) Investing in one's future happiness is one thing, but Ignite's fees are exorbitant, with the promised returns on this investment virtually nonexistent. Despite their hefty price tag, I found myself waiting months on end for a single date, a pace that makes snails seem hurried. This waiting game tested my patience and made me feel like a low priority despite the significant financial commitment.
Moreover, the quality and suitability of the matches could have been better. You can ignore claims to have a thorough matching process, yet the discrepancies between their promises and the reality were glaring. On several occasions, my dates' interests, values, and goals were so divergent from mine that I wondered if there was any vetting process. It felt like matches were randomly thrown together with the hope that something might stick, a method more akin to a game of darts played in the dark than a professional matchmaking service. However, the most disturbing aspect of my experience was the realisation that Ignite's claims often contradicted the experiences shared by my dates. It became apparent that the narratives sold to me were crafted more for marketing than accuracy. Reflecting on my experience, I ponder whether engaging in Ignite's services was better than doing nothing. To that end, it was not. Instead of providing a genuine pathway to companionship, Ignite sells false hope, profiting from the loneliness and vulnerabilities of others. Their service felt more like a money-making machine than a heart-joining endeavour, with little to no regard for their client's emotional and financial well-being.
In conclusion, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Ignite to anyone seeking meaningful connections. The mismatch between their lofty promises and the delivered reality could be better to overlook. Prospective clients will likely find more genuine opportunities for connection through alternative means that do not involve draining their bank accounts for the illusion of a match made in heaven. In its current form, Ignite is a lesson in disappointment and a cautionary tale for those searching for love.

While reviews are important for any business, it is important that not only are they factually correct (of which this isn't) but there is also a context to the review. After our call on Thursday at 4.30pm, where you became very upset, you cited that this review was left after you felt disillusioned with the entire dating industry, not Ignite.
After working with FOUR different agencies, and investing over £60,000 as well as having a continuous online presence and over 100 first dates, you are unhappy at still being single. A dating agency can introduce you to single, like-minded people but no one can guarantee chemistry. Whilst we have an enviable 75% success rate, 25% of people don't find success.
You enjoyed six face-to-face dates with us and you also INVESTED in FURTHER MATCHES - which are not the behaviours of someone dissatisfied with a service.
You initially contacted us in February 2022 and your profile was signed off on 16 May 2022. You opted for our Elite service which offers introductions over an 18 month period. This service was delivered in 12 months with your last match being facilitated 31st May 2023. Over the time you were with us we facilitated 28 matches - 7 you both accepted, 6 you met, 4 declined by you, 4 declined by me (profiles from other agencies) and 13 declined wanting to meet you. All matches met your exacting criteria.
After we conducted a professional photo shoot, you expressed that you did not like the photos and undertook a new shoot at your own expense. You presented us with one black and white image to use, that was cropped at chest height and was shot in favourable light. This is the only image that you permitted us to use.
You met all of your matches face to face and feedback is as below:
Date 1 - you met twice and you didn't want to move forward as he didn't book a restaurant for dinner, he chose a high street chain which you didn't like and you said he talked over you. He was happy to pursue this further.
Date 2 - You met but there was no chemistry for him, although you cited he was a good match and would like to have met again.
Date 3 - You had interacted previously on a dating app and would be keen to meet him as it fizzled out before. You met and he liked you, but said that you seemed bored on the date so he didn't want to move forward
Date 4 - On receiving his profile you stated 'wow he looks gorgeous. Thank you 😊 👏🤣💖'. But after meeting, there was no chemistry for him and he decided not to move forward. He stated 'Jamie is charming and engaging and we had nice evening together. I regret for me is there wasn't the right chemistry to become romantically involved'. You were open to a second date.
Date 5 - You met and said that whilst on paper he should be a good match, as you had the same interests, there was no chemistry when you met and he didn't dress how you would like him to.
Date 6 - You were very excited about this match as you had lengthy conversations together and seemed to connect over the phone, plus he had the look that you liked. When you met, you had chemistry and expressed an opinion that you would like to meet again. M declined and when you pushed him as to why, he said that you are 'too sturdy'. Upon departing, you sent him a poem expressing your disappointment.
The Ignite business model, which you stated you thought was fair, was that after main service, you can buy matches individually. You then reinvested in further service with us. During this time, you declined three matches and then your final match was with an international businessman who was out of your age range, but met your criteria. You enjoyed several conversations and whats app messages and you were excited to meet him. He offered to fly you out to join him on holiday, which you declined and the match fizzled out.
I really hoped that Ignite would be the agency to find success for you. I wish you well on your continued quest for love and have removed you from our database.
Expensive disappointment
I was very disappointed with this matchmaking service. I paid for 3 matches in 6 months & it took over a year for then to find these for me. The first 2 were not a good fit & didn’t meet my criteria. The 3rd match never even met me. Months went by between matches with no contact from the matchmaker. I was promised a premier, personal service & was told they were confident they could find me grear matches. Instead it was disappointing & a very expensive waste of money. I do not recommend.
I have just been contacted by the business saying they intend to respond to my truthful. accurate review in order to “protect their brand.” Their response was factually untrue on most counts as I pointed out to them & I detailed this to them. Having read their response below,
I am shocked that they would respond so unethically to my factually accurate & truthful review.

Thank you for your review, feedback is always important. However, in giving that feedback, it is also important to be accurate. Which this isn't.
First of all, I am somewhat surprised that you have left this review some four months after service ended and that you didn't contact us directly at the time.
When you first contacted Ignite Dating we declined working with you. The reasons being at 60 years old, you wanted to meet men between 47-65 years, over 6ft. We could not agree to this criteria so we declined working with you. You then reached out again six months later, was open to more realistic criteria so we accepted you as a client on three match service only, not the full service.
You refused a photo shoot, choosing instead to send us favourable photographs, taken 'in good light'.
In the twelve months that you were with us, we facilitated 24 introductions of which we declined 5, you declined 5 and 10 declined meeting you. We exchanged numbers on four matches, we contractually agreed to three.
Contractually, a successful introduction is numbers exchanged. Like no agency in the industry, we don't guarantee meetings. Our service was in line with the T&C's you agreed to. In our T&C's we state that matches will broadly meet your criteria - of which all FOUR matches that we facilitated did.
The first match you met, he asked to meet for a coffee and you insisted on lunch. When the bill came, you were saddened that he asked to split the bill (normal behaviour for a first meeting) and thought it was 'rude & not good etiquette on his part.' in asking you to pay. We do not promise that men will pay for the first date and can not control behaviours. He was open to a second date.
The second match you spent the whole day with and initially was impressed with him, but chose not to take it further as he passed comments that you were unhappy with.
The third match (of which your text states - 'looks like a match made in heaven.' 'He has the distinct look of Mr Right about him' .... 'Thank you I'm over the moon...') reflected and decided to not go ahead with the match after making contact with you. Contractually this was a match, but as a good will gesture, we agreed to replace the match.
The fourth match, you had video calls, but he decided that he didn't want to proceed as he didn't feel a connection with you. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee the chemistry and we strongly suggest meeting in person rather than video calls as you cant judge chemistry until you are face to face.
At the end of the contract you didn't contact us to tell us of your displeasure, you have chosen to wait some months and then write an unfavourable review. Surely if you were that unhappy, you would have complained when the contract ended. I have reviewed the service delivered and all communications with my team. You have been discourteous at times, demanding that they call you 'immediately' and have rejected valid matches because they are bald (not something you told us was important at interview) or not being tall enough. Yet every-time you said something was a dealbreaker, we changed to accomodate your needs to find you success.
We had agreed to keep you on our database as a network client, which meant you would be matched with paid clients with no further investment. I have now removed you from our database, given you have lost trust in what we do.
After you had engaged the services of three different agencies historically, we really worked hard on matches so that we could obtain the success and relationship that you desired. 75% of our clients find success with us, but this also means 25% don't. Unfortunately, you fell into the latter.
I wish you all the best on your future dating journey. We delivered over and above what we contractually agreed to and this review is inaccurate Our response is factually correct and all time stamped evidence is available for you to review.
Busy professional looking for love
After exiting my marriage and as a busy professional, I didn't want to return to online dating. I was recommended to Ignite Dating by a colleague who had used their services. To date, I have had three matches and each one has been a great experience. Their team know the industry and really understand people and the dynamics of a busy life. Whilst I haven't met my one yet, I feel confident I will and I have actually enjoyed dating again.

Great service for my International CEO
I was tasked by my CEO to find him a dating agency. After speaking with all the main agencies, we decided to work with Ignite Dating. Julie, who interviewed him, was knowledgeable and understood the complexities of his multi-national and location lifestyle. He decided to work with the MD, Michelle.
