Worst Shopping Channel company for aftercare.
Quick enough to take your money.
Tried to get a refund on a faulty Vostok N1 Watch they Did Not Want to know, like trying to get blood out of a stone.
Do NOT buy from this company. To complain You have to pay extra to telephone them. They do not reply to your Email complaints and basically could not give a damn. Far better to buy from somewhere else and get a positive shopping experience. Dealing with Ideal World gives you stress and is very unpleasant. This is my experience and honest opinion of Ideal World.

Why state £1.00 for P&P for single item on some products, only to be charged £3.99.clearly states £3.99 postage would not apply if it indicates otherwise. Customer service trained not to give straight answer. Why haven't consumer watchdog dealt with this company. Number of poor reviews is a scandle.

Awful. Selling rubbish skincare which they do not refund on. Use qvc!

Yodel delivery of Ideal World items.... a Jasmin plant and compost. You couldn't make this up...ordered two items from ideal world - yodel delivered two items, one addressed to me and one for someone else in the town (not compost but flat packed furniture!). A man in a wheelchair then comes round today - not the address on the parcel for packed furniture (but the same complex) to say my compost was delivered to him. He wasn't even expecting any parcel from anyone!. YODEL absolutely C^^P. Ideal World please vet your suppliers couriers as it pulls down you credibility. I will try and deliver the flat packed furniture to the man that is still expecting a parcel...can rely on Yodel!

I ordered an excersise bike which arrived all good, but a part was broken, so i phoned up customer service for a returns label, the guy asked me to hold on while he spoke to the relevant people, after about 20 mins he told me they'd be in touch within 3 days, over a week later and 2 emails nobody has been in touch I spoke to someone on their chat who confirmed that the relevant people hadnt been contacted, I'm still waiting,
Update the bike was eventually picked up and received by them, a refund was issued 10 days ago which I've still not received. I've spoken to someone on their chat line who confirmed that it hasn't even been cleared on their side, the company is diabolical avoid them.

Have been trying to resolve an issue. For goods returned due to being damaged.
Firstly need to apologies had forwarded the wrong order number. OW65025996 Which was for a shefing unit.
The correct order number for the 2 in1 slim cycle that was returned to ideal world is OW4862724 Which was sent back to them and received on 10th January 2023. However they have refunded me for the shelfing.
Which is not the item I require a replacement or refund for. The item they have received back is the 2 in 1 slim cycle.
This first commenced on 14th December 2022 and still not resolved. Partly due tilo me giving the wrong number and partly the customer service. If they had read the emails they would have realised this was the incorrect order number. As the emails state that it is for a replacement 2 in 1 slim cycle purchased and had a damaged part. Just require a replacement 2 in 1 slim cycle.

Be no stars if I could, bought a hoover from them after 2 months stopped working, called the woman was nice on phone told me none left so no replacement but if I post it back to them I would recieve a refund.
Called 6 days after they recieved hoover I called see where my refund was to be told, I will not get refund, I will get this fixed or a replacement ! Told them as this was not what I was told, I was told I was getting refund and I had now replaced hoover as I needed one. Asked for manager told cant guarantee one to call, asked for address I could write email of complaint , told I cant do that either. Call advisor said he would send an email with my complaint to head office,I asked him to cc me in this for proof, told he had but nope no email. Joke of a company

I’ve just watched Ideal World. They’re advertising a jacket for £49.99, which is exactly what dozens of other retailers (including John Lewis) are advertising it for. The difference is that Ideal World claim it cost well over £100 originally. I’ve also noticed that sort of thing before on Ideal World. Please! Do they really think people are that naive?

tried to return an item under warranty and was told they couldn't help because they had went into administration last year and they directed me to the administrator.
What a cope out and bad customer relations, they just don't care.

They replay things after they say they have sold out and you can’t get them for months the drone is the biggest scam so far I have brought off them and expensive items and I’ve only kept one sent others back as cheap rubbish, just think have you been to large market and people like them are selling there and you say rubbish and walk away these are the same items that you haven’t bought on tv cheap rubbish

I bought plug in wall heaters you can get more heat of a candle and the cost of running them is something else never again

Why do you let people order things when you don’t have them in stock. I’ve had to get in touch with you this morning regarding an item’s delivery only to be told you’re out of stock and I have to wait another 2 weeks. I’ve just looked on your site and your still selling the item with NO mention of waiting for more stock

Very disappointed in unacceptably long delivery times. Ordered 13 January and now told "it should be with you by 31 January. That's ridiculous. It's only a throw.

Rubbish company, no customer care whatsoever.

Requested a refund after waiting over 3 weeks for my delivery. Instead of refund they said they will replace. Now probably have to wait another 3 weeks to see if that arrives. Customer service number is not free so beware. Delivery’s made by Evri(Hermes) 3 parcels ordered before Christmas only one arrived. Very poor deserves no stars.

Shocking customer services!!!! Constantly lie about contacting you . I’m still waiting for my mattress to be delivered tried to call ideal world had me waiting for 75 mins still no answer!!! Can someone please contact me regarding this matter.

46 mins and 57 seconds call time to their customer service number, the majority of which was spent on hold. No successful outcome. Ordered a pair of boots, for which Ideal World promptly took the money from my account in full. No boots have arrived and today I received an email to say my order is cancelled and it will take 3-5 working days to return the money to my account. This email was received just moments after a partner organisation called wanting to send me a “special gift” - a discount card on a 21 day trial, which if not cancelled would automatically take £89 from my account at the end of the trial period. I called customer services to ask the reason they cancelled my order and to cancel the trial “gift”. Somehow the whole thing now didn’t feel quite right. I spoke with Luke in customer services who was less help than a chocolate fireguard. Luke couldn’t cancel the “gift” but could give me another phone number to call. I requested he put me through, but apparently that wasn’t possible either as it was a separate company. I asked to speak with someone in the department who shared my information with the separate company, as I had purposefully requested that my details were not shared with external companies when I placed my order. Luke didn’t know which department might do this so I asked to speak to his manager or team leader. Apparently he didn’t have one. Having previous experience of working in a call centre I knew this not to be the case. Finally he informed me his team leader was Gerard however all the team leaders were downstairs. I asked to be transferred downstairs and was put on hold. But apparently this wasn’t possible either so I asked if Gerard was in the building today and was told actually, no he wasn’t. I asked who was in charge on the floor today in that case. Luke said no one. This will not have been the case. When pressed a little further Luke went to speak to someone again. Eventually he came back and told me he’d spoken with the person who was in charge today (Jade) and she said I must have ticked a box to share my details and there’s nothing they can do to help. Upshot is, no one within Ideal World is of any use whatsoever and the products they claim to have, they don’t. However they do like to take peoples money and let it sit in their account before returning it. The advice given? “The best thing you could do is complain to Head Office”. And that’s from one of their own. Appalling company and appalling customer service. Avoid like the plague. I wish I’d read the reviews before I shopped.
