Report was quick to receive. Payment mechanism can be improved, paying over the phone is not for everyone

I was expecting for my survey to take weeks, however this was not the case with this company. The same day I made the payment, they had contacted the sellers and booked a appointment, and I got the report back the same day of the survey. Very quick turnaround time. Brilliant

I was really pleased with my ideal surveyor valuation. When first contacting the business the staff were very friendly, costs were explained and a convenient date for the valuation set. The surveyor arrived as scheduled and conducted his valuation professionally. I then received my property valuation later that same day, and was pleased with the way the valuation was presented. Great company and fantastic service! I'm a first time solo buyer and I had a level 2 survey done by Ideal Surveyors. I was well supported from the beginning by Jordan, we had a telephone consultation and he was able to answer all of the questions I had regarding the survey and what I needed for the type of property I was purchasing. He was reassuring, professional and helpful in everyway, and did not make me feel stupid with the 101 questions I asked. He was able to book my survey in very quickly, communicated with the estate agents and I felt as ease. I received an email as soon as the survey had been done to let me know the report will be sent within 7 days, to my surprise it was in my inbox 4 days later! Amazing service, I would 100% recommend Ideal Surveyors to others. Thanks again to Jordan who was absolutely amazing!!

Great Company. Even greater service! Jordan & Josh, these men provided a fantastic service, as my fiancé and I were first time buyers. No question was too convoluted or out of the ordinary. Excellent service from Ideal Surveyor. From the start, the General Manager was brilliant, very responsive and efficient, and we were able to book the HomeBuyer (Level 3) survey quickly. The surveyor then produced a thorough and well-structured report and turned it around fast. The level of detail and clear explanations gave us confidence and made it easy to identify what needed attention. Highly recommend their services.

This company takes your money and scams you. Avoid at all costs.

My experience with this company was very poor. The staff I dealt with came across as rude, overly pushy, and not particularly helpful. I felt pressured to make payment over the phone immediately rather than being given clear information or time to consider my options.

The overall approach felt sales-driven rather than customer-focused, which made me uncomfortable and undermined my confidence in the company. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

We paid £800 for a survey after clearly stating that our only concern was whether visible cracks indicated structural or subsidence issues. We were verbally assured this would be taken into account, but the report did not assess structural integrity and focused mainly on obvious non-structural issues.
When we queried this, we were told we should have requested a structural engineer and were asked to pay an additional £1,000. Our formal complaint was initially ignored, with no written acknowledgment despite assurances, further undermining our confidence. We do not feel the service delivered matched what we were led to believe we were paying for.

After having issues with a previous surveyor, I wasn’t sure who to go with next. From my very first telephone call with Ideal Surveyor, through to speaking with the surveyor, I was genuinely blown away by the level of detail and professionalism.
