Hush has been my favourite clothing brand for years. Something has gone horribly wrong recently. I've ordered with next day delivery or collection and heard nothing at all for several days. Not only does the order take days to arrive, they don't even bother to update order status, so you are left completely in the dark about when it might finally turn up. Customer service used to be speedy and friendly - no more. (And don't get me started on the new sizing!) From the look of other recent reviews delivery and customer service issues are common. How sad to see such a lovely brand destroy itself.
Very disappointed to have to resort to a review after several years of great clothes and custom with Hush.
I ordered a couple of tops on 3rd April 2026 and, a fortnight later, they have not arrived.
Multiple attempts to contact Hush have failed ... the message 'bot' is constantly busy and an email has been acknowledged as received but I've had no actual response after three days.
An attempt to call Hush was met with an answerphone message that calls are taken only between 9am and 11am weekdays.
I have paid over £80 for goods which have not arrived - and with no response at all from Hush.
Placed an order on 31 March in the morning.
Still saying processing 8 days later (it’s now been 16 days).
Emailed on 8 April. No reply just auto response. Emailed on 11 April. No reply just auto response. Called on 13 April and left a message as no one in customer service team apparently (process took 5 minutes). No one called back. Called on 15 April. Answerphone message no way of speaking to anyone.
This all sounds like they literally have no one left in the office. So sad. Used to rely on Hush as one of the decent online retailers. Shop at Varley instead they still value customers.

I’ve been waiting for months for items I paid for 0n 16th February, still no delivery and no refund.
Very disappointed with how this has been handled. At this point, I’ve completely lost trust.
If you’re considering ordering from here, I’d strongly suggest thinking twice until they resolve issues like mine.
I have not received an email confirmation of my order (33213) which I placed last Friday 10 April and the money was taken from my account on Sat 11 April. I have a screenshot of the order confirmation only and it is not showing in my account. No response to my emails from customer service since 12 April. The lady I spoke to on the phone yesterday said that she couldn't track my order herself only pass a message on to customer servcies to get back to me and she was not able to give me a time frame on this. Appalling customer service so far and very concerning that the money has been taken but no order showing on my account and no email sent.
Waiting refund since 30th March now 15th April. Customer service doesn't reply. No other company I've used takes this long for refund. Will not order again from them. Will use john lewis or Mark's in future
If I could give Hush negative stars I would. I ordered 9 items (hundreds of ££) for a 3 month holiday. I paid extra for next day delivery. 6 days later the order never arrived and Hush will not acknowledge the failure to get me my order. No one will call me or return any of my inquiries. The only thing they have said to "resolve the issue" is that I can reorder all items again on my own....but they are NOT WILLING TO REISSUE THE PROMO CODE I USED. So I would have to buy now everything full price and receive it 2 weeks later than I initially purchased them?!?!?!? They finally told me they just refunded my order (which is literally the minimum they need to do because otherwise it would be fraud), because the package missed the delivery window to the post office and instead got returned back to Hush.
Hush sincerely needs to learn customer appreciation and respect, and DEEPLY needs to learn to take ownership of their actions and failures and HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE TRYING TO SUPPORT THEM.
Give your business to a company who appreciates your hard earned money and respects their customers and DO NOT SUPPORT HUSH!!!!
Thank you Hush for your response to my review proving all my above points accurate:
1. Hush will not issue another promo code (and pretend like they have no ability to do so haha)
2. They have all my details but refuse to follow up and contact me
3. They only keep referring me back to "contacting customer service" which I have done so and continue to only be told "you can reorder."
4. There is absolutely no acknowledgement of any error on their end, or my lack of receiving services as their customer.
Thank you for proving my point. What a shockingly dead end company. DO BETTER.

Clothes are fine but customer service is shocking.
They have an auto message that they will answer within 3 working days - then seem to make sure they take the maximum time, even when the issue is ongoing. 3 days per email - and I've had to email a number of times as they dismissed my legitimate complaint.
I had a voucher, bought an item, returned it, the voucher was reissued. I then used the voucher for another item some months later, then unfortunately had to return that item. I was refunded money paid - but not the voucher. I chased it and was finally refunded a voucher. I went to spend the voucher on a sale item last week but the voucher didn't work. I was then told, when finally answered, that the voucher expired in December - despite the fact I used it in December and it was refunded in January! (Nb.There was no expiry date when it was sent to me in January.)
Ive had to email again; the bag I want to purchase, (using the voucher towards) is in sale, so there is a time pressure. It will either sell out or no longer be in sale. But, im still waiting for reply and a working voucher.
Such slow & sloppy customer service. It puts me off ever purchasing from Hush again, they clearly don't care about their customers experience.
I’ve shopped at Hush for years, but this experience has completely changed my view of the brand.
I placed an order with next day delivery, yet two days later Evri still shows they are waiting to receive the parcel. This strongly suggests the order was never actually handed over for delivery, despite paying for an expedited service.
To make matters worse, Hush customer service is now almost impossible to reach. The live chat repeatedly cuts off after saying “thank you for holding,” with no resolution and no way to speak to a real person.
I am now in a position where I won’t even be home to receive the order, meaning I have no idea when (or if) it will arrive.
The combination of missed delivery promises and non-existent support is extremely disappointing. Other retailers manage next day delivery without issue, so this feels like a decline in both service and reliability.
Unfortunately, I will now be looking elsewhere for future purchases.

Have always loved Hush clothes but customer service recently has been shocking. Have placed several orders and paid for next day delivery only to receive several days later. The most recent was for a specific event. I paid for next day delivery, received no communication until an email 3 days later to says the items would be another three days. Will have return everything when it arrives as will have no need for the items now. Such a shame to see this beloved brand go downhill.

I emailed customer service and several days later in the morning I received a response from Adrian, saying he could find no order under my name. I was worried, and sent him a screenshot of the payment confirmation. No response. I really was worried now as it seemed that my order had not been received and my fairly hefty payment had vanished!
The following day I rang (sadly phone lines open only 2 hours a day!) and spoke with Hatice. She was really warm and friendly, immediately located my order, and sent me email confirmation. Apparently Adrian was sitting behind her snd she was clearly mortified at the poor service he had given.
So - 1 * for Adrian. 5***** for Hatice.

I’ve been a Hush customer for over 10 years but this year has seen a sharp decline in customer service. I contacted customer service on Monday and you now have to go through a reception who take your details and information you that someone will call back in 24 hours. It’s now Thursday and no one has called despite calling another two times on Tuesday. I called again this morning but no one will put me through directly. I’m now returning my items. This is a poor return for over 10 years as a customer. Add to this that my original order has to be returned because your sizing has changed. I’m an xs in slub t-shirts and the ones which arrived are an inch smaller across this chest this year, I know because I compared them to my existing ones so now I have to pay the returns for that because you are no longer consistent. Very disappointing that a company that stood out for customer service has gone downhill so badly in such a short space of time.

Ordered a jacket from Hush. Was nice quality but not quite what I was looking for. It arrived quickly but with no returns label (the online portal wouldn’t work). Getting through to customer service was not the easiest but when I did they were responsive and helpful. Would shop here again.

What is going wrong at Hush? They used to be a cut above the rest. Good approachable CS, nice reasonable clothes for the quality and fair policies. Now, well where do I start.
First, they charge you for returns, no doubt in a bid to put you off doing so but all it does for me is put me off buying as if I’m not sure on size and need to buy 2 that’s not going to work.
Secondly they have opted to put all their eggs in the Evri basket- bad move! Especially for those who live in remote areas, disabled or in London where getting to Post offices or drop offs are difficult and can cost for parking and now we can’t arrange collections.
3. No phone contact! Forced to use web chat where they just cut you off when you eventually get through- as if you have all day to sit typing out waiting for responses only to get cut off mid way!
4. They send out brochures which obviously cost big bucks then the items prominently displayed on the front cover and on multiple pages inside are not even available. Not only that, on asking I’m told it’s been renamed so you won’t find it even if it does eventually turn up - isn’t that false advertising?
5. Perhaps if they stopped diversifying and selling stuff at places like John Lewis - which I noticed recently had been demoted and repositioned to the back of the sales floor because it wasn’t selling because it’s too expensive! Who can afford £250 cashmere jumpers and £120 jeans these days. They have replaced them with Top Shop! And now even M&S is selling renamed and reworked items that you recognise at even more inflated prices. Perhaps if Hush just went back to their original principals they would have more repeat customers that were happy. Instead they are trying to compete with the likes of ME&EM which I think will end in tears. I’m no longer a customer unless and until they start being more customer orientated.
What’s happened to Hush ?
I have been a loyal customer to Hush for many years , have enjoyed the clothes and the customer experience but it’s totally changed since the new website .
I now have to pay for delivery and returns ( but could buy from John Lewis , Next and M&S , free delivery and free returns.
Also I want to return an item and the order number isn’t recognised .
I am also awaiting refunds for 4 items returned separately, it’s been ages and I am owed over £350 plus £150 for what I want to return but can’t . I can’t track my returns either . Customer service is polite but ineffective and I have asked for my comments to be fed back at the highest level .
It really pains me to write this review but something needs to be done . It looks like Hush are deliberately sabotaging themselves , can see it going the same way as LK Bennett and Russell and Bromley , very sad

I’m a repeat customer and went to make a purchase on the international site. In my cart it said I had earned free shipping. On the checkout page the only option was to pay for express shipping. I used the customer service chat and they couldn’t help so I emailed. They said there was no free shipping and I would have to pay for standard or express. I asked why it said I had got free shipping and why standard wasn’t an option. I haven’t heard back and it’s been almost a week.

I'm trying to return an item to HUSH but their returns portal just doesn't work. It's absolutely infuriating. Their website is so thrilled with itself for being certified B-corp but it can't handle something as simple as a customer return. I won't be shopping with them again as a result of this experience.
