My husband got me a subscription for our anniversary last year and it is probably one of the best gifts I have ever received!! It is incredibly fun, interesting, great quality of all items and clues included and has become something we both look forward to doing together!!! I love it and would recommend to any murder mystery/thriller/true crime fan!

This is a great game. I love true crime and so does my daughter and this he just have us an opportunity to feel like real true crime fighter! We got to spend some great quality time together, and just really enjoyed everything it had to offer.

Tried this on a whim and now we are hooked. Great alternative to television. It's really something to solve these. We enjoy the history included in each and the little freebies! Not as easy as I first thought it would be, but love the challenges.

Hunt a Killer is one of the best around. Have tried several different types of these mystery boxes and HaK surpassed them all. It was one of the most entertaining & challenging experiences we have had for family night. Look forward to more.

Really enjoyed the Mallory rock boxes! Me and my boyfriend had blast with them on our weekly date nights! They were hard enough to get you engaged, but not too hard. ( So no rage quits ;))

This game is one of the best games I ever played. Even though it’s a game it seems so real, makes you think you are a real detective. The puzzles, evidence, objects even video clippings and voice recordings are amazing. I recommend everyone to play HAK.

Love hunt a killer! Highly recommend. I like getting my box in the mail monthly, it’s something to look forward too. My brother prefers spending the whole day solving the crime so I get him the complete box sets for holidays.

We play as a family. My daughter is really good at cracking codes. We enjoy the mystery of each episode. It’s a lot of fun.

I purchased a one-and-done "Murder at the Motel" from Target a while back. Then heard about you again while listening to the podcast "Dark History with Bailey Sarian". So I decided to join for a monthly subscription. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Wow, the story, the ciphers, the extras both online and the physical, I'm impressed. Had so much fun as a solo detective. Thanks!

Each story is very well thought out! However, the online desktop seems to be an interesting but overdone method to deliver more information to the Detective, compared to the physical evidence and materials provided in each episode. That being said, it's incredibly fun, and I find myself losing many hours per episode because of it's charm. Highly recommend!

So much work goes into these boxes ! Both the story and the quality of the items are really impressive. I have completed subscription cases, box sets and premium ones and had a lot of fun with all of them. While this does not fully take you away from screens as you might have to go on websites to find clues, you certainly spend more time with the items in the box than on your laptop. I also feel like I am switching off and really focusing on these stories every time I open a box, thanks to how immersive the experience is. My boyfriend does not really have the patience to do most of these with me and cannot remember anything from previous boxes so subscriptions are not his thing but he does enjoy doing the premium cases with me. I do the others on my own, it's my favorite me-time. Difficulty is varied enough too that there are really options for everyone from no-cipher to cipher heavy.
