Unfortunately the item was too big for me and I had to return it , but it was of Good Quality

Even one star is too positive for what has been an awful experience. I even got a thank you email for supporting Uk based business - how is this legal?!?

I had to pay 20.- to send poor quality items back to China after I was offered multiple discounts if I would keep them.

The parcel has been sitting at customs for the past four weeks, waiting for a recipient’s response. Customer service won’t help.

Update: I elevated matters with my bank to help with dispute resolution and I received a refund.

I only used Hughes Manchester because l thought they were a UK company. When my jumper finally arrived it was three sizes to small even though a tiny label on the plastic bag it came in said it was the size l ordered. The jumper had no identification, sizing nor wash care labels inside. I have sent two emails asking for a returns label and asked for a refund but both email addresses were non existent. This company needs reporting to Trading standards which l intend to do tomorrow

These trousers are a great fit. I decided to order them as I’m moving to a tropical climate. They are comfortable, lightweight and smart looking - just what was looking for. Will probably order a second pair in a different colour.

Goods arrived but was of poor quality and didn’t even fit. If you try to return goods for a refund you can forget it because you have got to return them to china.

Bought a jacket £30 in the sale full price £60 or £70 not as described not fit for purpose unlined. Asked for refund. Offered me 10%refund and suggested l regift it. Declined. Offered 30% they said to save me hassle of posting to China. Several emails later l admitted defeat. Wish I’d seen reviews first.

First time buyer from this company have received jumper waiting for coat

I wasn’t very happy with the quality of the product.The neck was completely different from picture and I can’t wear high neck sweaters. The sweater seems shorter than the picture also. The other problem is if I return it it’s going to cost nearly as much as I paid for it.Its a bit confusing when the name of the company is Hughes Manchester and not in the uk

Very good only stuff missing is golden line around the heels

The garment I ordered was of poor quality and too small. I, unfortunately, did not read the reviews first.
I asked to return the item to Manchester for a refund but then found out the return had to be to CHINA. I refused to do that and am now left with a useless item and a loss of £29.95.
Avoid this Company at all costs. Stick to reputable shops. They even show a picture of their store in Manchester.
