Two weeks ago we visited HSL in Dewsbury, what a fantastic experience. First impressions matter and even before we reached the door it was opened for us, we were greeted by Debs with a warm welcome and a big smile. We tried a few sofas, but none quite suited what we wanted, Debs then suggested we try the Ascot Double Power Recliner, it was perfect, we really didn’t want to get up from it, what we especially liked was the electric head rest, it would provide just the support we wanted when watching TV.
We were offered drinks and biscuits which we declined , as we had to return home for an appointment, so we took the swatch of leather with us so we could confirm the colour was the correct one for us.
We returned in the afternoon and Charlotte greeted us at the door, we once again sat on the sofa and didn’t want to get up. This time we accepted drinks and were surprised when a two tier cake stand was put before us with such a wide selection of biscuits.
We completed the paper work and then noticed the beds and couldn’t help but try them, the mattress was so comfortable that again we didn’t want to get up. Charlotte explained all about the five layers and when we got home we considered buying them, so two days later we were back at the showroom to purchase two Platinum Pillow Top mattresses. We once again had drinks and the cake stand of biscuits.
While there we checked out some chairs, I am repeating myself, but again they were so comfortable that we didn’t want to get up from them.
The next day we were back at the showroom to purchase two Himola Lift and Rise 3 Motor in two different sizes, which also meant more hot drinks and biscuits.
We cannot praise the staff highly enough, Debs, Charlotte and Diane were so warm and friendly, the atmosphere was very relaxed and we had lots of laughs.
We must also give credit to the person who employed these fabulous ladies, you couldn’t have chosen better, they are very knowledgeable and clearly love their jobs.
We like to buy British goods whenever we can, so we are very happy knowing the sofas are made locally and the mattresses are also made in Britain.
We are very much looking forward to the delivery of all our purchases.

The entire process from home visit choosing the chair , keeping me informed of progress and the superb delivery team of Craig Robinson and Carl F was amazing. Carl was a star, aided by Craig and replaced my entrance door to the room of choice. I am so grateful to all the exceptional staff at HSL I can thoroughly recommend them for looking after me and making me a wonderful chair to aid my mobility.

We were greeted warmly, the experience was a pleasure and there was no pressure to purchase. Debs who looked after us checked everything fitted my mother correctly and helped her try the options available to her. Really great experience all round and the tea and biscuits are a nice touch.

We visited the dewsbury store with my 86 yr old mum the staff in there was fantastic from start to finish ,.the lady that served us was so kind friendly & polite& gave us great infomation ,.we bought a reciner from the lsdy that served us & again thankyou so much.i would definatly recomend this shop they are amazing.

Debbie & billy from dewsbury came out to my nans home. They arrived on time exactly as stated. They were thorough, kind, patient and ready to answer any questions we had in order to get the items best suited to us. They weren’t pushy or eager for us to buy but informative and offered another visit at a later date if we required. Can’t fault the whole service and would highly recommend

All staff my mum met were very polite, friendly, efficient and couldn’t have done any more to help her with her new bed. The staff at Dewsbury store very fantastic and the delivery men Lee and Thomas were so helpful on the day.
